For happy hour this time we had a big table of eight so we had to sit in the patio. I was so excited to bring some friends this time around. They said somebody would be coming out, after 25 minutes of waiting I had to get somebody. Still waited another 10 after that. We finally got some chips and salsa and ordered got food before water and no silverware to eat with once the food was delivered. The drinks took a really long time to come out. Had to go in multiple times. Jennifer was are server, the table that came in about 15 minutes after us had their way before us. I'm very disappointed because I really enjoyed the last time I was at taco Tuesday.

Awesome. Francisco took care of us exceptional service . Thank you

I've been a regular customer here for over five years and have always supported this business, attended events, paid my tabs, and treated the staff respectfully. Unfortunately, my recent experience left a very negative impression. There have been several occasions where events were ended early or communication felt disorganized, but I continued giving this place the benefit of the doubt because I genuinely enjoyed coming here. Recently, a bartender forgot to charge me for part of my bill. The next day, I returned and was approached by management asking me to pay because their employee forgot to charge me. What made the situation frustrating was that when I had originally asked at the bar, I was told I didn't owe anything. I understand mistakes happen, but the way this situation was handled made me feel uncomfortable and undervalued as a longtime customer. After years of loyalty, I expected a more professional and respectful approach. I'm disappointed to say this experience changed my view of the business, and I don't feel comfortable returning. Francisco states he called Carlos then an Antonio. I asked Francisco if he also FBI to investigate .. Horrible service

Enjoyed their happy hour. The drinks are amazing.

I really liked the happy hour. They offer many drink options and food. Gerardo jr the bartender makes amazing drinks. They play music. Will come back to El Torito!

Lovvveee Sunday brunch! It's 9am-2pm! They serve you churro pancakes for the whole table and the selection is so yummy!! Also, just by chance I've had Mayra the 3 times I've came here! And each time she's been so amazing! Also I love that the pours are... chefs kiss!!! She's so attentive and refills like your best friend! The mimosas are amazing and unlimited! Tacos and omelets made to order ... and Mayra of course! You can't go wrong here !

I thought the staff was rude. We had one o clock reservations. My daughter entered as we parked. They check her in under my name. She went to go get her food and met us at the table. A. different waitress came snd told my daughter she could not have the table. Mind you she had a full plate on the table and was sitting down. She asked us to go back and wait in line. I told my daughter to leave her food. I got four notices to confirm. That was annoying. Three of us had brunch. $150 bill. Never again..,

    Mimosas

This was the best Sunday brunch great waitress Mayra is so awesome. best service ever! take your girls it's so good!!!

Wifey Ordered a Grilled Torta Sandwich.

Wifey & I decided to stop by our local Palmdale El Torito today (9/20/25) for a few drinks & a light meal. We were greeted at the Bar by a very pleasant & bubbly Bar Tender named ** IRIS **. ( : I ordered my usual Ala carte ' Vegetarian Enchiladas ', with a ** Green Tomatillo Chili ** Sauce. I was a bit surprised with the plating, as it was a bit different than usual. After tasting my meal, I asked the Mgr, ' IF ' they had a different Chef today..? The Enchiladas looked a bit different today & tasted * FABULOUS *. ( : The Mgr. Francisco responded that ' RANDY ' had prepared the Enchiladas. I told Francisco .. Corporate should take note & have ** CHEF RANDY ** provide them with his twist on this particular item. Wifey ordered a Grilled Torta Sandwich, which she enjoyed.. ( : Louie.M

There was plenty of parking in this lot. The entrance is located through their patio, which can be a bit counter intuitive. We came at opening and the restaurant got really busy during our time there. Initially we were looking at the sandwiches because it was lunch time, but then we were going to a wedding that night so we decided to eat something more filling since the ceremony and speeches always delay the eating. All entrees here are served with black beans and rice or congri, and 3 fried plantains. My boyfriend had the Ropa Vieja ($28) with the congri and I had the Lechon Asado ($25) with the rice and beans. Our food came out pretty fast after we ordered. My boyfriend's Ropa Vieja is a Cuban braised beef. The congri is basically a mix of the rice and beans. This dish was super tasty and the shredded beef was so tender with the bell peppers and onions. I can really taste the red wine and tomato sauce in the base. I took a few bites but in general I preferred my dish more, and vis versa he enjoyed his dish more. My lechon asado is a roasted pork that is super super tenderrrrrr. It was so sweet with the grilled onions and it had the perfect amount of fattiness without being over bearing. SO GOOD! Love the plaintains too. I'm glad I got the rice and beans option because I would have gotten too full too quick with the congri. I barely touched my beans and only got through half of my rice. Both dishes came with this super tasty garlic butter sauce that I poured on my rice and made it even tastier. It was so good. One thing I didn't enjoy about the experience was the flies attacking us and our food. Since the door is open and connected to their outdoor space, it leaves the opportunities for flies to come in. We had to play defense with the flies the whole time. The service here is a little slow. Especially when I was trying to get back on the road I wasn't feeling too patient. I waived down multiple staff members too. Also I got hit with an undisclosed 3% surcharge for using my credit card. I only found out after I got the receipt. I would have paid in cash if I knew. *dislike* LOVE LOVE LOVE the food. Might be the best Cuban food I've ever had... and I've been to Florida where there was a lot of Cuban spots. Room for improvement with service, flies prevention, and the disclosure of the credit card fee.

The food quality is spectacular! I always get the Baracoa Cubano sandwich and it never disappoints. The ingredients are fresh and organic with each dish I've ordered. Since I have allergies to ingredients used to preserve frozen food, it's always been so hard finding a restaurant with a menu that doesn't cause me issues--and Baracoa has never compromised with their ingredients! The organic quality of their food is something you'll taste on your first bite. And finally--the service is impeccable and I have yet to see such excellent hospitality at any restaurant I've visited, even in Los Angeles! The waiters are always kind, attentive, and energetic with their behavior and service. It's very easy to tell they love the work they do and it shows in their work ethic. In addition to that, the managers are always making sure we're having an excellent night and have transformed it to a level of service we've never seen! My parents and I went a week ago and talked to Daniel the Manager about how much we missed a Piña Colada from a closed restaurant which would make it in the pineapple itself--and he said if we promised to be there in a week he's make it himself. We came on Friday, and the joy that my family felt was palpable when Daniel came out with the drinks we've wished for years now since that restaurant closed! Honestly, I've never heard of someone caring for their guests so much to do that--truly everyone should visit this establishment and experience true fine dining. I don't think I'll ever eat anywhere else for a special occasion ever again.

Also got the 6 pieces Bone In Wings with Fries for $11 on Wednesdays. We chose the Buffalo and Honey Garlic sauces. The Buffalo sauce was better than then Honey Garlic sauce. Would not get again since the wings were flavorless. The fries were hot and crispy, but too salty. Also got the Nachos Supreme for $7 during Happy Hour. We added beef to the nachos for another $3. Food 3-5 - we've had mixed experiences, but mostly very good. There aren't any off menu requests accepted. One cannot replace ingredients. One can only remove specific items from a menu choice. Don't even ask. Apparently the chef's policy is absolute. Ambiance 4-5 nicely decorated and designed. Has a high end feel that is unusual for the AV. So why the 3 stars? One single experience. My wife asked the server (Jackie) if it would be possible to get a side of sauteed mushrooms. She said probably not as it's not permitted by the chef. We asked to speak to the manager to express our disappointment. When Jake showed up, before we uttered a word, he stated that it's just something they don't do, so no to our request. Then he turned and walked away. There was no dialogue. It was a one way conversation. In essence, we and our request were dismissed. The experience was incredibly off-putting. It was unnecessary to respond to a patron's request in that manner. Totally unacceptable. I write this review to memorialize the experience for others, because it won't matter to the owner/chef/management. It seems, judging by their total lack of response to other reviews, good or bad, that it really doesn't. Typical dinners we've had run a tab of $150-200 (including tip). We have visited 1-2 times a month for the past two years. We have brought friends and family on several occasions, generating additional per-visit revenue for the restaurant. Again, this doesn't seem to matter. So, sadly, we're going to have to take a leave of this place. Too bad really.

We were used to the original, original (more on this later) Coach's in Lancaster. We decided to…read morecheck out the new one in Palmdale, since it was Mother's Day and my wife had been craving their wings. It was mid-afternoon, so they were not busy at all. We waited maybe about 10 minutes before being sat at our table. Coach's reputation in the area is being a sports bar and grill. What I noticed in the main seating area was the lack of TVs to be viewed. The design of the area is really poor if one wants to watch their sports programming while enjoying a meal and/or libations. The next thing I noticed was their increase on prices. Restaurants don't generally raise their prices because they expanded their operations. They expand because they are doing well and can afford to. It seems like Coach's raised theirs to help pay for their new building. We decided to order their dozen wings, splitting them between us. I love spicy! The hotter the better. My wife on the other hand went with the mild wings. The other preference between us: I like the drums, while she likes the flats. So, six "as hot as you can make them" drums and six mild flats, extra wet on both. I mentioned to the waiter the point that a dozen wings will generally contain six of each, but I had experienced issues with them wanting to double up-charge us in the past for separating them per flavor profile, so could he please relay our request to the cooks. Easy enough for the kitchen staff to handle, right? Obviously not so much. Additionally, the waiter informed us that the only way he could get the drums and flats separated was to up-charge us $3 per request (+$6 total), otherwise the kitchen staff wouldn't understand. I guess it takes too much of an effort to tell the cooks that order "X" needs this done? Remember, they were not busy...It took approximately forty-five minutes before our wings were brought out to us, ALL PILED TOGETHER! ????!!!! Who the F would look at this order of two profiles from completely opposite ends of the heat spectrum, including the separation of drums and flats per flavor, and extra wet, and think it is a smart idea to pile them all together?! This was immediately brought to the attention of the waiter who took them back for a resolution. The second attempt did have the flavors separated, but "extra wet" was now a light drizzle and the six "flats" were a combination of drums and flats. Seriously? Over an hour of wait and two failed attempts for an order of one dozen wings. PATHETIC! We asked to speak with a manger. She came out and we explained our experience with her. Her replies were:, "Well that's how the dozen wings are normally served; you shouldn't have been up-charged for splitting the dozen wings, the waiter could have informed the kitchen staff; and, we will remove the order of wings from your ticket." No sincere apologies. No offer to comp us our two beers. NOTHING! The original, original Coach's used to have fried green beans and pretzels on their menu. These were both a huge hit, and were two items you would associate to Coach's, before new owners took over. We asked each following visit if they had been added back to the menu. We were constantly told by the wait staff that this (the green beans) had been a continuous ask by many Coach's patrons, and they had relayed this to the new owners on several occasions. We asked again today, with the unfamiliar waiter having no clue of what we were inquiring about. This tells me that the new owners have no interest in what longtime Coach's patrons would like to have back, or the people that made Coach's successful, prior to their acquisition. They are obviously all about greed and poor decisions. This will be their demise, as they are causing many customers, like ourselves, to find more deserving places to spend our money. We had not heard the best reviews, from other friends, about this new Coach's, but we unfortunately decided to give it a try. FAILURE AT IT'S FINEST!
