(There's an older guy who is often overseeing the self-checkout area that watches me with suspicion...) They have so many local items that I can't find at my nearest Schnucks. I have actually been going further out of my way to shop here than the Schnucks that is less than 2 miles from my house. Plenty of parking.

The store is clean and well stocked. There is not a self checkout at this location though. I…read morethought the scan and go was self checkout so I started scanning my items. The employee started yelling at me that this location did not have a self checkout option. I asked why several people around me were able to scan their groceries and she said they pay $12 a month for that option in the app. In what world does it make sense to pay $12 a month to scan your own groceries?!? I know that part is not under the employee's control but her attitude is. They need to consider putting her in a different part of the store where she is not so customer facing... I gladly took my items and went to a checkout counter several aisles away where a cashier greeted me nicely and was super prompt. In the background, I continued to hear the banshee in the scan and go counter yelling at other customers that "this location does not have self checkout." Maybe better signage is needed...

Love them…read more This time my haul included truffle cheese, Lundberg Family Farms Cilantro Lime Rice made with regenerative organic certified white rice, and the same flavor and style of rice but Whole Foods, Chipotle Bitchin sauce, Blue Zone Kitchen Basil Pesto Veggie bowl, some raspberries, and arugula. Love the Bitchin sauce, I didn't think the Chipotle flavor was much different from the original but still delicious. I was nervous about the rice, I have had some that is not good at all, but both of these were great. The Blue Zone Bowl was awesome, too. More items to add to my list to continue to purchase!

I love to come grab something to eat for lunch every now and then since they are across from my office. The store is always clean, and well stocked. Staff is always friendly and willing to help answer questions or help you simply find what you are looking for. The store and parking lot can get congested during peak hours, making it hard to maneuver. So it's best to come in the morning or later in the evening to shop if possible. You are able to bring back Amazon returns and drop them into the bin, or hand them to the worker at the counter located near the self-checkout stations.

We also ordered Italian salad, fruit salad, and cake. Everything was ready to go when I went to pick it up at the designated time. With how busy life is, it was super appreciated how prompt everything was. One of the cashiers gave my kids dum dums when we were there for no other reason than to be kind. I also love that they have Graeters ice cream here!! We lived 3 years in Louisville and fell in LOVE with Graeters ice cream, so whenever we're missing that time in our life, we have a little Graeters from Straubs. Plus the store is usually very clean, somewhat hard to navigate with a large stroller but doable!

It took me off guard and it had me discombobulated. Once I got my bearings straight, I was good to go and got some shopping done. I recently cleaned out my pantry of expired baking goods and spices, so I grabbed a few items to replace those that were outdated. I also got some ingredients to make a pot of taco soup. When making soup, you really don't need big brand name products, the off-brand aka generic ones, make a good soup, too. Side note - February 4th is Homemade Soup Day. This visit I was lucky and did not see anything in the aisle of shame that I could not live without. They did have a lot of Valentine decor, but I have plenty of that already. But more often I find items I usually buy are not in stock. I've had to go to a competing grocery store for what I need, although it's not as convenient. Lucia's pizza, Lamb Weston hand cut french fries to name a couple that they no longer carry. Stocking can be an issue too as shelves can be devoid of certain items. I would guess that it is a corporate problem that this store is only getting whatever is in the warehouse, but it's still disappointing.
