VERY simple looking from the outside but extremely inviting atmosphere and decor when you get in. It is street parking only on a busy main street. I got lucky and scored a spot directly in front of the restaurant on this rainy evening. We started with the Quesadilla with steak in a corn tortilla. This is what really brought it down from 5 to 4 stars. Keep in mind, this was the equivalent to our appetizer, so we were very nervous after this. Extremely lack luster. Disappointingly little steak and even less cheese. It was as if we were eating a piece of a corn tortilla. Avoid the quesadilla. We then shared an order of enchiladas. Things were getting better. Enchiladas were solid. Nice kick to the green sauce with pieces of pineapple to hit you with a left hook. Came with rice and beans as well. This could've been a meal but we decided to share this to try different things. The burrito was the final thing on the menu. I got the Al Pastor burrito and it was excellent. Very tasty and well put together. Only thing that struck me odd was that it came with French fries opposed to rice and beans. I kind of would've enjoyed it a lot more with the rice and beans as the fries were average at best. I ordered online as I was stuck in traffic and everything was ready when I got there, which was prior to the estimated pickup time. All in all, very solid meal and there's plenty of seating if you're looking to dine in as well.

I think I can say this is the best breakfast burrito I've had in New York!…read more Starting off, their signature Hatch chilies are delicious, with just the right amount of kick, and they provide a great spicy, fresh bite. The eggs are cooked perfectly, soft and fluffy, and the tater tots add a nice crunch, although I would not mind if they were even a little crunchier. They're already better than most places I've been. The sausage was nice and flavorful, although I do wish there was a little more, as I felt like it got a little lost in the rest of the burrito. Overall, this is a very cohesive burrito with all the components working very well together. I like their take-out system. It's very fast and efficient, and I was greeted by the owner, who is very friendly and full of personality. I highly recommend this place!

We really really enjoyed our entrees, the flavors were spot on and the portions were generous so come hungry. The waitresses were really kind and our table was positioned by the window so perfect for people watching. For my drink I ordered the Reigns of Gold - Anejo, Blood Orange, Cinnamon and Black Pepper. In all honestly it just tastes like grapefruit and tequila, so I'll be trying another drink next time :) but I am very much looking forward to next time

The guacamole appetizer was great. Margaritas had slightly too much ice, but were delicious. Good beer selection and menu was great. Stand outs was the mole chicken - that sauce was amazing ! The steak on a hot stone was great. The fish and tacos were also great. dessert was great too. The owner / chef Franklin even stopped by our table - great vibe overall. Try it, you'll love it. The guacamole didn't taste fresh at all and the chicken in the flautas had no flavor. For dinner, I had the enchiladas suizas. The chicken was the same chicken used in the flautas aka flavorless and the tomatillo "salsa" did not taste like salsa at all. It actually tasted more like the "avocado mousse" that the flautas were drenched in. My husband had the carnitas michoacan and he said they were just okay/super greasy/wouldn't get them again. Both our meals were supposed to come with rice and beans, but they only bought one side for us to share. When I looked around the restaurant, it seemed like they only bring one side per table regardless of party size. This to me is a rip off especially since this place is pricey. My 2 year old was also with us and we got him chicken fingers and fries from their very limited kids options. When I asked if he can have rice and beans instead of fries, they said no. You're a Mexican restaurant - maybe put a taco option with rice and beans on the kids menu. For dessert, we got tres leches- it was fine. The only other things ordered were a cocktail and a beer. We waited SOOOO long to get the bill and even longer for someone to come back to take our payment. With tip included- our total was about $180. That is very steep for the quality and quantity of food. Sadly, I don't think we will return.
