We had a wonderful experience mid-week; our server Ariz was great -- super attentive, friendly, and had wonderful suggestions. All of our dishes were well executed and delicious. The guacamole appetizer was great. Margaritas had slightly too much ice, but were delicious. Good beer selection and menu was great. Stand outs was the mole chicken - that sauce was amazing ! The steak on a hot stone was great. The fish and tacos were also great. dessert was great too. The owner / chef Franklin even stopped by our table - great vibe overall. Try it, you'll love it. Not your typical Tex/Mex joint.

We dropped by here for lunch today. Super cute restaurant located in the Styertowne shopping center complex. We were a bit chaotic, my son broke a plate as soon as we sat down, but the server was nice he cleaned it up and didn't make a fuss. And then my son spilled his water. It was not our day! But we were super excited to try the food. My husband ordered the tacos de carne asada and I had the Cesar salad with chicken. Both were really good. The Cesar salad was unique, it was 3 full pieces of romaine lettuce, I believe they were charred and the croutons were soft and delicious. The chicken and dressing were really good too. My husband thought the tacos were just okay. I think I'll come back and try more! I feel like the food took a while to get there, it seemed like other people that came after got their food first. But it wasn't too crazy. The bathroom was also really clean.

Really wish Yelp offered 1/2 stars. My experience was very mixed and honestly I'd give them a 2.5. Ambiance is nice. The restaurant is pretty, dimly lit, cozy atmosphere. The food was good & nice plate presentation. My issue is cost. This is a Mexican restaurant in a strip mall. $14 maragarita. $15/Cab Sauvignon glass [the bottle is worth $20 at total wine]. Flautas appetizer was $14 and they were tasty and pretty but literally two tortillas cut in half (menu called mini tortilla). Club soda was $4. This place was nice and food passable but not worth that NYC prices they charged. I personally won't be back. The menu prices seemed elevated compared to the quality and portion size of the dishes.

Fantastic experience for Friday happy hour. My friend and I arrived at 4:30 and were asked if we wanted to take advantage of HH at the bar or one of their two high tops. We enjoyed the $9 margaritas - mango, guava and passion fruit were all absolutely delicious, my favorite being the mango. We ordered small plates to share off of both the HH & regular menu, everything was fresh and tasty. Our server was very attentive and offered great suggestions. He said the Mac & cheese was a "must order" and I honestly agree! He also said we could order the "elote loco" off the cob and that was another favorite as well. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back for their amazing happy hour!

I visited Bitol recently with a small group to celebrate a special occasion. I made a reservation online for 12 pm on a Sunday, upon our arrival, we were the only group there up until we left. The restaurant does offer a brunch menu, which can be found on their website. We started off with drinks, and I opted for a mimosa flight. The flight tray that arrived at the table was so pretty and I loved the drinks, but I cannot recommend the guava mimosa more. It was probably THE best mimosa I've had and if you've ever looked at my reviews, you know I'm a mimosa queen. The mimosas came topped with cotton candy that can be eaten, discarded, or dissolved in the drinks to add to the sweetness, but I opted to give mine away to someone in my group. Sadly, there's not a ton of vegetarian options available, but I was able to order veggies, rice, and beans, all of which were delicious. I also recommend trying their house hot sauce, which was perfect for providing the heat I needed for my food. Everything tasted fresh and even with my limitations, so I thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Bitol is always a fun experience, their drinks and food is so interactive it makes you forget that you're at a small local restaurant. I love their Guac options. The first time we came we tried the Al Pastor Guac, this most recent time we tried the Atun. Both in my opinion could've used a little more meat portion but nevertheless still very flavorful. Moving onto drinks, we always make it a point to try as many different ones as possible to have the best experience. While their drinks are not customizable (meaning if you want mezcal and it's offered with blanco tequila they won't do it), but they were still showy and some had a fire effect which was cool. The staff is very knowledgeable and can guide you to make the best decision.

Food, service, and the vibe were all wonderful. I sat solo the bar and enjoyed some of Bitols signature margaritas. Dinner I chose the Cowboy steak on a stone (I had the kitchen prepare since I was sitting at bar) steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, sides were black beans, yellow rice, and maduros.

We came here for the first time and this place was okay. If anything we'll come back for drinks since that was our favorite part. The guacamole and chips were pretty delicious too! My fiance loved his Al Pastor tacos. Unfortunately I ordered the breakfast burger and I couldn't eat it. It came out so hot and had that weird gamey meat taste where it doesn't taste fresh. I sent it back since I couldn't even get past the scent. The chef came over and made me feel uncomfortable questioning why I sent it back and that he tasted it and it tasted fine. I felt pressured to order something else so we just got the churros and they weren't good either. They were stuffed with a sauce but the flavor wasn't my favorite.

In a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. Nice restaurant. Cool type of drinks and glasses there in but most of the drinks barely have alcohol. Food was a bit pricey for the small portions. My friend ordered the same meal as i (skirt steak) and mine was a good size but hers was small portion. Cute spot but not worth the price.

I really enjoyed this place. We recommended to a few people and they didn't really like it. I think service was their issue which I found to be great when we went. Food was fantastic and the drinks were just as good. Inside is a little tight and hot during summer and the outside seating is pretty much in the parking lot.

We were in the area on a Friday night and decided to try this spot out. We were very impressed! The food and drinks were delicious and our waiter was friendly and attentive. The decor is super cute and the place is not what you would expect (in a good way!) for a restaurant in a strip mall. Will definitely be back!

My friend suggested Bitol for dinner and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated. Our sever was friendly and attentive. They have a nice selection of cocktails. I was surprised to see Lulo as a flavor option for their margaritas and decided to try it. I really enjoyed the flavor. We shared the flautitas de pollo from the small bites menu. They were good but they were not kidding about it being a small bite. I had the birria tacos and enjoyed them. Overall, we had a good experience and would return.

This restaurant is beautifully decorated and parking is easy since it's in a shopping plaza. The drinks menu is fun and I loved the full bar. My husband and I came in for dinner on a Sunday and it was pretty empty besides 3-4 other tables. The server was very nice. We tried the guacamole which was delicious. I enjoyed their ceviche although I wish it contained more in terms of texture and taste. The grilled octopus had amazing flavor although unfortunately was way overcooked. I'd love to come back to try their tacos and try more of their drinks! I had their passion fruit margaritas on the rocks and it was delicious.

Rather than sitting in the bar area, we asked to be seated in the dining area. There were a few typical bar items on the menu - burgers, fries, and chicken wings. And then there was a serious side, which is what we ordered from. The beet salad and agnolotti were wonderful. My strip steak was excellent. The wine, a Daou cab, was exceptional for the $45 price point. The selections were all reasonably priced. Looking forward to the WC party and many more trips, despite living 40 minutes away.

We ordered a few things. Spicy Tuna Tartare: wasn't spicy, didn't taste fresh which wasn't a deterrent to me as this isn't a seafood restaurant or fine dining. Next time I'd pass on that. Bavarian Pretzel: amazing. Very tasty. Came out nice and hot. That rarebit cheese sauce? Oh honey that can come home with me anytime. Absolutely delicious. And this is coming from someone who hates that fake cheese, cheese whiz type taste. Margherita Pizza: didn't come out hot which is probably why I wasn't a fan of it. It was pretty mediocre for such a basic pizza. And the food didn't come out all together, so not sure why that didn't come out hot. Wings and waffles: Tasty buffalo wings. The waffles actually taste like funnel cake which was a nice surprise. THEN. The burger came out and that is why this review dropped. It had a small hair on the side of the plate and a closer look at the rest of the plate, you'll see a long hair on the pickle. That was disappointing but happy to have tried the place nonetheless.

I wasn't super hungry so we shared the crispy cauliflower and lamb ribs from the appetizer menu. The crispy cauliflower was excellent -- hot, actually crispy, and not drowning in sauce which I really appreciated. The lamb ribs came over labneh (a yogurt base) and the first plate arrived with the lamb cold. I asked our waitress if that was intentional and she said only the labneh should be cold. They immediately replaced it with a fresh order and handled it really well, which I appreciated. Great service recovery and overall a really enjoyable brunch spot with a lively atmosphere.
