Burrito De Tinga(pollo), Tacos Birria, Guacamole

DELICIOUS. Got a chicken tinga burrito and my boyfriend got the birria tacos and wow! Service is fast and attentive super nice. Also got the guac and the genius idea of a refried bean dip to come with it was the cherry on top. Plus the place itself is super cute down to the chairs. Definite recommend.

I'm used to the Kearny location but this NA spot is absolutely just as delicious. It's much more spacious and has a lot more room for tables - plus an outdoor seating area! Once you walk in everything is decorated so nicely. Beautiful vivid colors everywhere you look. I came here on a Friday night with a group of friends and we were seated right away. Their menu is so expensive, they have every kind of meat for any dish you could want. Beef tongue, chorizo, you name it they have it. My normal order is either the chicken tostadas or shrimp quesadillas but I decided to switch it up tonight. I tried the chicken in mole sauce. It was really tasty. I asked for it to be made with chicken breast and they were super accommodating. The chicken breast was perfectly thin and soaked up all the delicious sauce. I also got a side of tortillas that were served in the cutest little tortilla holder. Everyone else got their quesadillas and definitely left with leftovers. Their portions here are absolutely huge. Everything is always delicious, the meat is always flavorful, their sauces are perfectly seasoned. I have no complaints about this restaurant at all. Their salsa is the absolute best. It's truly my favorite. I also tried a small horchata and it was sooo decadently delicious. What a treat. Parking isn't too bad, you can always find something on the street. Try them out for yourself!

This place deserve 10 stars in my opinion. If you're in the mood for home cooked Mexican food, this is your place. The food here is delicious. I am not Mexican but I can tell when someone pours their heart in the kitchen. The ambient is nice and very authentic. The service is phenomenal and on point. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood to try something else more than tacos. Keep up the great work guys!

    Nachos ....

No flavor We got an order that had rice and beans and bacon and the bacon was the most flavorful part of the entire meal. DO NOT ORDER NACHOS It's one tortilla with meat and cheese on top of three shreds of lettuce. Because of being under the "nachos" it was sogggggyyyyyy. Just bad. Was not eaten. Now i do not know if I got the wrong order because the lady taking the order was completely distracted asked for my address 7 times in a row and still called back to get my address. Did not visit the establishment but with this experience I would never eat there again. I rather go hungry or order some McDonald's.

Great Mexican spot. The North Arlington location is more spacious and has much more seating (seems even outdoor). Large menu with almost every major Mexican dish you can think of. Horchata is great . Chilaquiles and anything mole are my go to. Prices are good and portions are huge.

Another weekend and we remain south of the border for dinner tonight as we hit Mi Pueblito. This place came recommended to me by someone on YouTube, so being that they're local and on my to do list, I said why not. We started with the fresh guacamole and chips. Excellent quality and very tasty. Perfect way to start off the night and the experience. We then had a tamale. Personally, it wasn't my cup of tea. I think this one depends on the consumer. I can't say anything positive or negative just because I wasn't a fan of the texture. I got the suckling pig tacos. It came with a red sauce and a green sauce. It was good. Slightly dry but not too much to draw a low score on this taco. Definitely above average. My wife got the chicken tacos and said it was kind of bland. Now the big guns..... We got an order of ribs. Average at best. I wasn't that thrilled with them. Would I get them again? No. Was it worth a try? Yeah. It made for a good meal. You got three ribs with rice and beans. Little too salty for me and I was expecting a little more tender. Lastly, the spicy pork burrito. That was very good. Also came with rice and beans and was a meal all in its self. Very flavorful and put together well. Service was excellent when I picked it up. Plenty of leftovers for my lunch for work which is a plus. I opted to give 4 stars opposed to 5 because I felt the ribs were sub-par and the meat in the tacos were dry. Hey, 4 stars is a good score. Definitely worth a try. They have a very extensive menu, so take your time and enjoy!

Okay you guys I cannot recommend Mi Pueblito enough!!! I've gotten take-out from them twice now and both times I was super impressed. They give you enough food in one meal to cater a birthday party. 2 burritos for around $20 total and we got a whole catering tray of amazing quality food (just look at the pics)! Service is amazing, too. I've never eaten inside but it does look very clean and spacious. Y'all just trust me you can't beat the price for the amount of food you get. I recommend the chicken or al pastor burrito (it comes with 2 huge sides AND guac/chips). Chipotle who? Never heard of her.

Everyone was very friendly. It has a nice ambiance. The food is authentic and delicious. I never had chips and salsa served with refried beans as well, and it was a nice mix of flavors.

A hidden gem for authentic Mexican food in NJ!…read more I recently visited The Mariachi Grill and was blown away by the flavors and portions. I tried the birria tacos, fresh guacamole with chips, avocado salad, mixed seafood in red sauce, churrasco, chicken flautas, and chicken enchiladas -- all served with rice and beans. Everything tasted homemade, especially the salsas, which added that perfect kick. The patio is lovely, great for dining outdoors, and it's BYOB, which is a huge plus! If you're looking for authentic Mexican food with great service and a chill vibe in Lyndhurst, this place is a must.

They are renowned for their vibrant flavors, bold spices, and diverse dishes catering to all tastes using ingredients such as tomatoes, onions, garlic, and cilantro. Authentic Mexican food is more than tacos and salsa. The Garden State is hailed as one of the most diverse states when it comes to food, hosting some of the best Mexican restaurants on the East Coast. Whether one desires a quick taco or a full-course meal, my friends and I were craving rich and bold tastes from Mexico and decided on this family-owned establishment for an early Cinco de Mayo dinner. The reservation was easily made by calling Mariachi Grill, located on Ridge Road in Lyndhurst. Upon arrival at this popular spot to locals, with its cozy and casual interior decked out in traditional Mexican vibes, we were greeted by the staff and immediately got a table by the entrance, but they also have outdoor dining, weather permitting. The menu selection is much smaller than at other restaurants. We decided on the Cheese Enchiladas, Beef Enchiladas, California Burrito, Beef Burrito, Chicken Fries with Fries, and Shrimp Fajitas. Some meals are accompanied with a small portion of rice and black beans. Complimentary house chips and salsa started our meal. As the restaurant is working on their liquor license, it's BYOB. One can bring your own tequila or wine, and the staff will mix it with their sangria or margarita mixes. We washed our meal down with a pitcher of sangria. The presentation was very good. The food was made incredibly fresh, well seasoned, deliciously tasty, and generous. The price was very reasonable for the area. Our server Lisa with her outgoing personality and her desire to make our visit enjoyable, which we didn't feel rushed. Good experience overall, which we can recommend.

I know tongue can sound very off-putting but when cooked right, it is so tender and flavorful. These lengua tacos were no exception! Bursting with flavor and filled, these are some of the heartiest street tacos I've ever had. The chips w/ guacamole and salsa were nice too. Perhaps not the best I've had but very good. The chips were fresh and the salsa was interesting. For the guacamole, this is personal preference but I prefer a chunkier guacamole. This one was very smooth. I also ordered the horchata which was good but a bit too sweet for me. The restaurant is BYOB. You can bring wine and they have a sangria mix for $15 and they'll turn your wine into Sangria. We started with the Guacamole and chips and the vegetarian nachos. Both came out very quick and were excellent. We also ordered drinks and they also came out in a timely manner. I think they are bogus. This restaurant has several locations around NJ. Parking is valet only. The ambiance and decor is pretty, fun and loud. Very loud. We were seated upstairs with a pretty good view of the restaurant. Where we were seated, the lights coming from the huge projector screen was annoying. They give you an iPad to look at the menu, which can be confusing if you are technically challenged. I am not. My husband is! There's a photographer going around asking if you want a picture. I agree with one of the reviews. It seems that they are only interested in upselling. I ordered the house margarita the regular size. It was OK, from a mix, but no tequila to be found at $13. My husband had a Pacifico beer which he ask twice for lime and a glass. They brought him a margarita glass and a few dry limes. At this point he gave up. I had the chicken fajitas. It came with Rice, black refried beans and some guacamole. The included three flour tortillas were terrible old and dry. The only thing good were the fajitas. We also ordered chicken chili rellenos. Came with the terrible rice and the refried beans. My husband said they were OK. Edible as he put it. The Mexican food here is not authentic. Now for the service. Our server, told us right off that her English was limited. We speak Spanish, so that was not a problem. The service is mediocre. We asked for water twice. Finally she brought it. But not the hot sauce my husband asked for twice. It's definitely a 3 star restaurant. Catering to people that want the fun but are OK with mediocre food.
