Family owned coffee and fruit stand with it all! Mexican inspired meals like poblano soup and fresh cut fruit/veg pairing like cucumber with jicama. The owners are very welcoming and will answer all your questions with a smile.

This is not salsa . This is tomato and water

Burritos are skimpy now and sauce is nothing close to salsa . They need to improve on that

Delicious and FRESH! The juice has a little bit of spice which gives it a deeper flavor. Avocado on ciabatta toast is something I'd go back for again and again! The cashiers were friendly and the prickly pears seemed like they had been cut earlier the same day! good times to be had when visiting El Valle Produce.

This place is awesome if you're looking for a quick bite, the newly opened coffee bar is solid when you need a pick me up. Lucy and David(son) are super friendly and are always adding new things to their menu which now includes drip coffee, espresso, ready to eat fruits, smoothies, juices, sandwiches and (yes) burritos! Go inside and take a look for yourself! They also have a new instagram page!

    Avocado toast with cucumbers

Hidden Gem in Watsonville! My favorite coffee stop in town! They offer a variety of espresso drinks and non-dairy milk options! The avocado toast has a Mexican flair to it and is to die for! Lucy and David are always more than accommodating and they take phone orders!

Inside the store.. Great produce selection! Grocery shopping and lunch stuff all in one!

I'm lucky enough to have this place right next to my work. Salads, fresh juices and more. The beet juice is my new favorite.

While we didn't see it listed on the menu board, when my wife asked the order taker, she knew exactly what we wanted and told her that the wait would be 15 minutes as they made them to order. OMG, it was beautiful! Loaded with fresh strawberries and just enough glaze to bind it, the glaze did not overwhelm the taste of the strawberries. You can't really slice it as created. Instead, you pick off some of the fruit on top until it's down to a manageable height and then we use a large spoon to parse it out. Whipped cream? Ice cream? Both would be excellent accompaniments to be sure, but we used neither.

It's amazing how lucious her strawberries are and how long they last - and even longer when I wrap them in a paper towel and keep them in the refrigerator. Rebecca also taught me to freeze them by placing them on a baking pan near each other but not touching. A few hours later after they're frozen I just put them in a plastic bag and keep them in the freezer.  My wife and I have made strawberry jam, preserves, smoothies, and strawberry sauce for pancakes and waffles, and a neighbor I shared somer with made a cake - see below. Only thing that exceeds the quality of Madina Farms berries is how kind and sweet Rebecca herself is! I don't think she even owns the berry farm but is probably an employee. Yet she treats the produce and her customers as if she has no greater pleasure in life but to watch us enjoy and dine on her precious and delicious produce. If you work at the VA or if you're privileged to get your medical care there like me, a Vietnam Vet, or are just in the neighborhood, stop by on any Wednesday before she packs up her van at 1 PM and treat yourself!
