    Carne Asada and Steak Tacos
    Bekah C.

If you are looking for some of the best tacos in Vancouver, skip the restaurant hunt and head straight for El Viejon Taco Truck parked outside Fortside Brewing. This combination is a match made in culinary heaven--great craft beer paired with incredible, scratch-made Mexican food. The quality here is top-tier. It tasted like they use handmade tortillas. The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy. Everything was so fresh! The service is fast, friendly, and efficient, which means you spend less time waiting and more time enjoying your food and your pint. El Viejon delivers authentic, bold flavors that you won't find just anywhere. Go grab a brew and your crew and head over to El Viejon at Fortside!

You can't hold me back from this place! It was raining and I still came out! I have a hard time eating Quesabirria tacos anywhere else. No one comes close. The habenero sauce also takes them over the top. Service is always quick and top notch, and I usually sit outside and enjoy the vibe out there or if I want a beer or a different feel I'll go into Vice beer. But I usually like being outside. Go eat these tacos!

Grilled Mahi Mahi & Cajun Shrimp tacos - perfection!
    Rose D.

Consistently 5 stars! Truly the BEST tacos we've ever had! Their grilled Mahi Mahi taco is our favorite, but absolutely everything on the menu is delicious, and they do a nice job with the presentation as well. Their team is very friendly and our order is usually ready within 5 - 15 minutes, depending on how busy they are. It's a food truck, so there isn't any interior to comment on, but they are located at some excellent breweries. Currently 3 locations: this one is at Vice Beer in Vancouver WA, and they also have a spot at Fortside Brewing in Vancouver, and on the Portland side at Brujos Brewing.

El Viejon is a hidden gem and one of the best places to enjoy some authentic Mexican inspired cuisine. From the delicious seafood, tender birria and grilled meat tacos to some great vegetarian options it is a menu that is sure to please. I have had most all of the items including the excellent chips and guacamole and I have had all of the taco options and each is terrific. Give this wonderful business a try and I think you will agree, it's some terrific food here.

We came on a holiday Monday and we were so glad they were open. The weather was just nice enough to sit under the tent outside. The food was ready in just a few minutes. I tried a fish taco, a shrimp taco, and a calamari taco. Each was busting with great flavor. These tacos are so flipping good! It was tough to eat all three because they were heaping full! I was so stuffed! Great food, great service!

Arrived on New Year's Eve craving tacos and I was SO grateful they were open 11am - 11pm! Crowd was bustling with Vice Beer next door. They share seating and had a covered area for shelter from the cold wind. Ordered pork and steak tacos, cheese quesadilla for the kids and their chicken flautas. Everything was super delicious, arguably some of the best in the area. Looking to spice things up? Order the habanero hot sauce!

    3 dollars consommé'
    Ann T.

I've been coming here since this taco truck first opened, and one of my favorite items on the menu has always been the consommé. Unfortunately, this recent visit left me really disappointed and surprised--in a bad way. I ordered two small consommés, but when I got them, I was shocked by how tiny the portions were. I even asked the server if I had actually been charged, because the size was unbelievably small. She told me, "This is our large cup--we just filled it halfway because we ran out of small cups." What? I clearly remember the small consommé being much larger in the past. Paying $3.00 for something so small felt like a rip-off. This is the first time I've ever left a bad review, but I'm genuinely disappointed. Sadly, you won't see me here again.

Great tacos! Don't let the location and views of auto repair shop in stop you from coming. Tacos are are some of the best! Homemade tortillas! Great customer service and the beer from the brewery is also decent.

Delicious tacos, the quesabirria tacos are my favorite! Quick service and conveniently located outside of Vice Beer. Having the options to get tacos with beer is a plus! Definitely recommend even if it's just to get the food.

This place is soo good, kinda pricey (4$-6$ per taco) but worth it for the quality! Definitely recommend the El Gobernador tacos and Vice brewing is next door if you want beer!

The margarita was not tasty, the mix was off and the house tequila was not so good. I could only finish half of it.
