Showed up only to find it closed!! Online it clearly lists the operating hours of Monday-Sunday 7am-5pm. There was still supposed to be an hour before closing when I got here. There were no indications of why it was closed or for how long. What a bummer it looks very cute.

This spot is super cute and quaint. My husband and I came here because we had some time to kill before we went to the Lincoln Park Zoo lights event. I got a hot chai latte and it was delicious. The cafe is a cute little space and I liked that they had some board games to play. My husband and I played Guess Who, Battleship, and Connect Four.

Elaine's is a very cute retro cafe located in the Lincoln hotel. People here are too warm and so is the ambiance. They have a limited food and drinks menu, however, everything we tried we really liked it. My boyfriend got a Iced Latte with Vanilla syrup and I got a Macchiato with almond milk and vanilla and caramel syrup. Our server was very kind to let us know what to expect with the drinks and offered to exchange if we found the drinks to be really sweet or not of our liking. We also got a Spinach and Mushroom Croissant which was delicious (not vegan, but vegetarian) This place also has a limited cocktails menu, we didn't get a chance to try it however will surely do if I'm back in this neighborhood. Don't miss out the wall that captures "Elaine's Dogs". This is a pet friendly cafe and they usually like to capture e dog's photos for memory. Isn't that the cutest??!! Overall, sucha warm place with kind people around.

This coffee shop is located across the street from Lincoln Park so it can serve as a good starting point before a walk in the park or a good resting spot afterwards. I visited Elaine's on a Saturday morning and it was extremely crowded but what coffee shop isn't on a Saturday morning. However, I imagine there is more traffic at this coffee shop on Saturdays because it is conveniently located across the street from the Lincoln Park Farmers' Market. And, depending on the hotel occupancy rate the overflow of hotel guests can add to the crowd since Elaine's is attached to Hotel Lincoln. But even with the hustle and bustle of out of town guests, tourists, and neighborhood folks, it is worth tolerating for Elaine's Avocado toast. It is served on sourdough bread, which is my preference, and comes with a light serving of spring mix on top. That day the order was perfect. The selection of coffee drinks is standard although they offer a Vanilla Lavender Latte, which I ordered and thought it was good. Elaine's doesn't strike me as the kind of spot where you bring your laptop and sit all day, mostly because there isn't much seating available nor is it as accommodating. Although I am sure people have tried it. But the atmosphere of the cafe is more accommodating to meet friends and chat over coffee.

Great coffee and scones, friendly staff, warm atmosphere. I wish I lived closer, but worth the drive.

Not diabetic friendly. No sugar free syrups or pastries. Many coffee shops have both; with selection. Not here!

It's OK overall and very poor for the cost. Honestly there is no reason for prices to be this expensive.

It turned out to be a cozy little spot with a great selection of pastries and a few indoor tables, making it a nice place to escape the rain for a bit. The staff was friendly, and I ordered a hot latte along with a chocolate croissant. The croissant was absolutely delicious, fresh, flaky, and definitely the highlight. My only disappointment was that even though I was dining in, my latte was still served in a paper cup instead of a "for here" mug. The croissant was also handed to me in a paper bag rather than on a plate, which made eating it at the table a little awkward. It's a small detail, but I think serving dine-in orders on proper plates and in nice ceramic mugs would make the experience feel much nicer.Other than that, it was a lovely little café and a perfect place to warm up while waiting for the rain to pass.

The place is super clean with faint pink vibes, wood and marble. I ordered an iced latte and the Cronut and a creme filled pastry. The latte was made to perfection! The pastries were for later at home and were so good the next morning! I really liked the texture of the Cronut. The filling in my donut wasn't overly sweet and I loved it! I would definitely go back....

Had an almond milk latte on three separate occasions during my stay and each were delicious. THANK YOU for using Califia brand. The staff is nice and friendly, and bring the drinks/food to your table. Well, I didn't order any food, the items also looked really good I've seen popular as many people ordered food. Note, there is no public restroom available at this location -not at the hotel or office building, which is super lame. The coffee shop is also limited to seating on the two long tables nearest their coffee shop only. The rest of the seating areas are off-limits. *eye roll* and the closest bathroom is across the street at the Yolk restaurant. But don't skip out on trying Mojo, just know the facts ahead of time!
