Fantastic! Best manicure that I've had in SB. The time and attention spent to do the job correctly were very much appreciated.

I love how they do pedicure. But I wish they pay more attention how they sterilize their instruments: they put all instruments into a blue solution, and the same solution is reused for the next customer. Owner, please, find the ways to clean and sterilize instruments and feet tabs even more after each customer! read more

Another amazing experience here, as always Haly did my Tiffany inspired nails and I love them! I have been coming here for at least a couple of years now and I would recommend this nail salon to anyone and everyone I know. Went here for the first time today and really liked it. Great pedicure at a reasonable price. Gals were very friendly and made me feel welcome even though everyone else who came in were obviously frequent customers. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because their sign says "The Nail Spa" and there was no mention of a name change anywhere online or when I called to make the appointment so it was a little confusing as a new client. Also, although I understand why they do it, by appointment only sometimes sucks. read more

Just visited Elaine's NailSpa today and I must say that I'm very pleased with the friendliness and service there! The ladies are very attentive and thorough, taking care to explain the best way to treat your nails after applying certain products and stressing the importance of healthy nails and cuticles. If there was an option for no star, I would have picked it! I went into Elaine's because my daughter takes dance lessons next door. When I walked in there were two women sitting down, no customers in sight. I asked for a service, one of the women got up slowly and walked to the desk and looked at an appointment book. She told me there were no openings. I asked for an appointment the next time I was going to be there, she said there were no openings. I asked for another time, she said nope, no openings. For the first time in my life I actually feel like I was just discriminated against. I can't think of one good reason that she would refuse me an appointment. I was polite, friendly and would have given them plenty repeat business because of the convenience of the salon being next to the dance studio. Instead, I'd tell anybody who asked how dirty I felt when I left today. Take your business to someplace where it'll be valued! read more

We walked in for the first time in a few years and we were the only two in there , we immediately noticed that it was a little dirty but we decided to sit anyways, after getting my toes done by the owner Haly, did an okay job on my nails, no complaints there but when she answered a customers call, she talked to them very politely to their face but hung up and started laughing at what they were saying... I wish that was the only incident we witnessed there but my mother and I were just about to leave and my mom's awful manicurist sits down to get her toes done ....they make a customer wait for the manicurists pedicure to be done and then they help her.....AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've been going to Elaine's for years. The spa is clean and comfortable and each member of the staff does an excellent job. Regular nail polish always lasts an entire week which is unheard of anywhere else. Elaine also pays attention to the health of your nails and gives advice if there seems to be an issue.
