Mikhail responded to the project pretty quickly via Yelp and offered to see the situation before giving us a quote on the following day. On the next day, he came over and looked at where we needed to replace the light and gave us a very reasonable quote on the spot. And I agreed to proceed with it and he removed the existing ceiling light with the new pendant light. The whole process, from discussing the quote to he setup to he completed the job (including adjusting the pendant multiple times for me to figure out the most ideal drop of the lamp in our living room) and to pack his stuff, only took 40 minutes! I appreciated his quick turnaround on this! I wasn't going to ask him to remove his shoes, as there was a water leak and the floor was just recently mopped. He replaced the fill valve effortlessly. In May 2026, I communicated with 110/220V Electric via email and scheduled an estimate to have my…read moreold and outdated electrical panel replaced at my house (built in the 1950s) with a 200 amp panel and service. Bart and his team promptly came to my house and provided me with what I opine was a very reasonable quote for the project. Compared with a similar project I had done on my parents' house, Bart's price was neither the least expensive nor the most expensive...it was right in between. I was drawn to using 110/220V Electric because: Bart has a long history of working on San Bruno houses that need panel upgrades; reviews on Yelp and Google appeared to be consistently positive; and I appreciated that 110/220V Electric is a true family business. After signing off on his proposed quote and providing a small down payment on the project, Bart began coordinating with PG&E for approval. When coordination with PG&E was done, the project was set for early July 2026. Bart and his team completed the panel project within a couple of days as promised. I was only without power for a few short hours on one of the days. After the panel was installed, the city inspector provided the initial approval (the ever important "green tag") but required a cabinet to be installed to encase and protect the electrical panel. Bart recommended someone who was experienced building electrical panel cabinets pursuant to city requirements. Luckily, the recommended person was readily available to build and install the cabinet for me. Within a week, the city inspector came back out and gave the project the final approval. The team kept the work area around the project cleared and clean at the end of each work day. They swept everything up after the project was done. Bart was very responsive to my questions (we communicated via phone calls and via text). I appreciate the work Bart and his crew did with the panel. I will certainly turn to him first for any future electrical work.

They also did as much of the pre-work (grounding) as possible a day before the actual install, to make the day of install as efficient as possible. The breaking point was when the internet became unreliable because the power was unreliable and the stove stopped working. I contacted Alex and he said he could send someone over that same day. He was transparent about the pricing before the job began. When his team member (Ming) came over he was thorough and transparent about what he found and Alex came over to assess himself. Turns out one of the main line coming into the house on the verge of burning out and thus the other 110v line was trying to compensate which caused it to also overload. This explained why the 240 outlets were not functioning. Our electrical was just old and the age caught up. He gave a reasonable estimate and fixed it by the end of the day. In passing, I also mentioned that although our stove worked, it seemed that it's power fades as I use it more and he was able to determine that line was under gauged for the load and was a fire hazard. Looking up the prior setup before my recent renovation, I see that they had incorrectly reduced the stove line from 40amps to 30amps. Alex and team was able to solved that problem as well, giving me updates along the way and providing very easy to understand explanations. This was an annoying problem plaguing us for years! Again, the pricing is very reasonable and the quality of work is exceptional. I highly recommend Alex Tong and his team.

We hired Eminent Electrical for a major and expensive project to replace our old knob-and-tube…read moresystem with a brand-new, grounded electrical system. Our top priority was the safety of our home and family as we had a less than a 1 year old at home. What we discovered post-completion was frankly terrifying, and the company's subsequent non-response is completely unacceptable. Alex completely brushed off our concerns Early in the project, we raised concerns when we discovered a cosmetic "shortcut" (a drywall patch done with toilet paper instead of proper material. they literally stuffed toilet paper in the wall then laid joint compound on top). We were personally assured by Alex that even though there were minor appearance issues, they would take absolutely no shortcuts on the actual electrical work. A few months later, while I was installing a simple light fixture, my father and I discovered an unmarked hot wire. In this switch box, a white conductor was being used as the LINE-Hot wire (constantly energized). This unmarked wire could have easily been mistaken for a neutral by anyone working in the box, which could have led to someone getting killed. When I informed Alex, he said I shouldn't be doing wiring, and admitted it should have been taped. He offered to come over and tape the wire (I already did it myself). No apology at all. It feels like they took short cuts throughout the job- if they failed to properly mark a live wire in the first box we opened, we simply cannot trust the integrity of the rest of the expensive rewiring job. When it comes to the safety of your home and family, avoid this company.
