Until I purchased another vehicle which had a handful of problems right out of the gate and they refused to cover the cost of repairs. I preformed the repairs myself and have since learned a lot about these vehicles, because of this I'll most likely start doing my own maintenance and repairs instead of visiting BMW Tyler. Because they wouldn't stand behind a sale they've lost a lot of labor revenue for years to come on my vehicles. I felt very undervalued purchasing a vehicle vs getting my vehicles repaired or maintained.

I knew that I wanted another CX-5, I still have the 2020, and found the specific vehicle I was looking for at VM. After conversations with John M. on the phone and via email, I drove to Tyler to complete the deal. VM met all my expectations and even found a better interest rate than my credit union offered. The men who run this department are terrible. I would not buy a car from them because of the lack of professionalism and communication. They have no commitment to customer service. I will not be a repeat customer. The oil change is never just an oil change. It takes forever to get an appointment. I would not waste my money on the service package!

So, without further ado..... This was the absolute best experience that I (or anyone I've known) have ever had buying a car. My situation is pretty dire. My husband is very sick, we've hit financial unbelievable hardships and I was out of a vehicle. My folks (God bless them!) had been, unbeknownst to me, looking for a replacement they could get for me. And, by a miracle, chanced upon Pittman's. I can't begin to tell you how fortunate I am for that. First, the Pittmans are incredibly friendly, kind, warm and compassionate people. They were extremely sympathetic to our circumstances and listened patiently to all our concerns. They worked within my family's price range to get us into a car that was both dependable and affordable in the long haul (IE: gas mileage and upkeep). They were knowledgable about their products and were willing to go the extra mile to help us. Further, their employee, Billy, was a treasure. He made sure that the car we chose was in top notch condition above the excellent service provided. In general, I simply can't say enough good things about the entire staff. They're all saints in my book. Second, they really stand by what they sell. Apparently, we were the first customers to benefit from their new warranty program. Each used car now comes with a four month warranty, which includes up to $1,500 in certain repairs, roadside assistance and other perks completely unheard of in the used car business. Then, they threw in some of the most incredible extras: in-depth detailing, an oil change, a topped off tank of gas and, most unbelievable of all, a brand new set of tires. How amazing! I understand they undoubtedly wouldn't do that for every customer, but I am here to tell you how shocked we were that they would do something so wonderfully astounding for us. Considering it would've taken me forever to save enough money to do that myself, this was a godsend. I mean, wow. Finally, they also on the day of pick up, had a really beat surprise for me. I wasn't raised in the country, so I was enamored by some of the restorations found on their showroom floor. One of which was a lovely old tractor. Well, when we got there, they'd brought it out for me to drive around the parking lot for a while. How cool is that? For this former city girl, I was in heaven. Not many companies would ever go through so much trouble to make your shopping experience such an unmitigated success. And my family was so impressed by Pittman's every step of the way, that they not only bought this car as a gift for me, but found them an awesome SUV as well. Plus, my mom who is a very shrewd consumer, trusted John and Marla so much, that she sold them her beloved older pickup. It was just a win-win-win situation. In closing, I highly recommend Pittman Motors. If I'm ever in the market to buy another vehicle (which I can't imagine -- this one is so perfect, I bet it'll last forever), I have every confidence that they'll have exactly what I need and will be able to afford. I'll never shop anywhere else again and I'm equally certain that my folks feel the same way. I will gladly tell everyone I know to give them a try and see how extraordinary they are. Both were great at answering questions, allowing us to take the vehicle home to ensure it actually fit in our garage, and have reached out several times post-purchase just to ensure it is still meeting our needs and to ensure we didn't have any questions or concerns after purchase. We have also used their service department for many years, including for my GMC Sierra 3500 HD, and they have always taken great care of us. They even noticed an oil leak on my GMC and were able to replace and repair everything needed under warranty while providing a loaner vehicle during that time. We highly recommend Wagner Cadillac.

I ended up speaking to Dan Lade, the owner of the dealership, and he was super helpful getting me photos and details of the car. I saw great reviews from the dealership so I bought the car sight unseen. Hitched a ride from Austin to Frankston to pick it up and met the man in person. He was as nice as he was on the phone, and the car was in better condition than I could have imagined. They told me that the transmission was fine and they had reset it. They also told me that there was no updates for the programming of the transmission. There is an update for the transmission and it is has not been updated and I need to get it updated but I am not going back there. Who knows how long that would take.
