Please do NOT buy a used vehicle from this dealership!!!! Buyer beware!!!! My wife and I bought 2 vehicles over the last 4 years from their chevy dealership which went great! So when my son wanted a subaru my wife and I convinced him to go to this dealership thinking they would be great like the chevy dealership. Well we wish we would have never done that!!! It has been the worse purchase any of my family has ever made on a vehicle and this dealership does not care at ALL about you once the sale is done. Lie after lie. Son bought a used wrx sti and never even got to hear it run. The said a woman drove it and didnt know how to shirt a manual transmission. They said she screwed the clutch up and it would take them a week or so to put the clutch in and they would make sure it was right. That was a big lie!!! Took them over a month and he made his first payment before he ever got the car. Then when he went to pick it up it had a metal tap sound in the motor, but since we never heard it before we didnt know if it was normal valve noise or what. He had it just over a month and it kept getting worse. He bought the extended warranty (think god!). So he called and told them he was having it towed to them. The first two weeks they couldn't find his warranty (how the hell when they sold it to him!l then it was like tow more weeks till they got the approval to take it apart. All we got was lie after lie from this service department. We told them we was moving out of state so we needed this car fixed. Kept telling us it was held up by the warranty company. We called them and they told us dates and times they were contacted by the dealership and they gave approval within 24 hours. This service department can not be trusted. It took 3 and a half months to get the car fixed. Then they wouldnt help my son get his car back and he had to pay $1,200 to have the car shipped to him plus pay almost $700 to the dealership for stuff they said wasn't covered by warranty. And to top it off the car was filthy when he got it. They treated him like he didnt matter at all and lied constantly and denied it even when shown text messages where the lies where said by their service writer. I was a mechanic at a dealership for years and never seen anyone treated this bad and feet drug so long in what I feel was just spite! So please do yourself a favor and dont trust this dealership. Would hate for anyone else (especially a young person trying to have a nice car to get to work like my son. Way more to this story on how he was treated but didnt want to write a book. Beware!! We got a used 2019 Cross Trek from Peltier for $39000.00. I asked for a carfax they told me and my wife that it would be sent in the mail to me in the mail but I could rest assured that there were no accidents and that it has passed a 120 (something) point inspection. When I got the carfax I found that this car was not in One but TWO Accidents. Now the Hood is starting to crack so I had a body shop look at it and they tell me that the previous repair was done with Puddy and the best way to repair it is to by a whole new hood for almost $900.00. SERVICE DEPT ROBBED ME BLIND! I bought a used car there in October, by December the the check engine light had come on. I didn't think much of it because I had purchased the warranty. I scheduled my appointment for 9 am with the service dept. I showed up and told them what the problem was - a faulty knock sensor. I'm not sure if they didn't take me seriously bc I am a female, but they took my car at 9 am, and I didn't hear back until 1 pm. At 1 pm, I was told that they didn't know much, but to continue they would need to take my engine apart, and it would take more time. I told them that they should do what they needed to do to get it fixed. The service tech came back to me at 5:30 pm, and told me that they did confirm it was the knock sensor... THE ISSUE I TOLD THEM IT WAS AT 9 AM!!!! They then proceeded to tell me that they did not have the part, and that I owed them $650 for the labor for the diagnostic AND that the knock sensor was not part of the warranty. I just asked them to get my car back to me and paid and left. I will never return there again. The service tech was really nice, but the service was just terrible. I paid over $600 for them to tell me what the problem was when I already knew and TOLD THEM what is was 8 hours earlier. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY and go to your local mechanic. They don't call them stealerships for nothing. read more

Only contact I had was with the service department. I called and made an appointment and they were able to see me two days later. Nigel was super helpful on the phone and even more in person. They took care of me super fast, even did my 6k scheduled maintenance. Which is great since I drove two hours as it is the closest Subaru to my house. And here's the kicker I bought my Subaru from another dealer(in California) and bought the maintenance plan, so they made nothing off of me. Plus they are dog friendly. For the second time in 7 months, our Subaru key fobs stopped working . We took the vehicle to Peltier Subaru (again). After a day or two, a Service Rep called and told us that the batteries on both key fobs tested low in voltage. I immediately suspected that this was not the issue, as there were a few other strange peculiarities happening also with the vehicle. At some considerable expense, we had the TPMS Module replaced at Peltier just 7-1/2 months ago. I informed the Service Rep about this and was asked if we would like the TPMS Module re-programmed. Of course, I said yes. Today, we received a call from Peltier Subaru telling us that the TPMS Module that they replaced 7-1/2 months ago was bad, and they would have to replace it, free of charge. Fine. However, it amazes me that the diagnosticians at Peltier Subaru apparently did not consult our service history, and that they would not have already checked the TPMS Module without the customer having to mention it. (The service department seems to be dominated by women employees. Just sayin.) So, they that ordered the new TPMS Module, and who knows how long it will take for delivery and installation. In the meantime, I asked for a loaner car, and was given this song and dance about how none were available. We are both seniors who live almost 60 miles away from Peltier Subaru. This is the last time that we will trust Peltier Subaru with servicing our vehicle, and it is the last Subaru we will ever own. We still have a Toyota Camry that we bought new in 2009, and we have never had such problems as we have had with the Subaru. Since we will be purchasing a new car in the spring, it will be a Toyota (and not purchased from any Peltier-related dealership). read more

I recently traded my 2020 Toyota Corolla for a "Certified Pre-Owned" 2020 Subaru WRX. My sales rep, Marcus, was friendly and accommodating and Matt in finance helped make the process as smooth as possible. Beyond these positive words, my experience with Peltier Subaru has been frustrating and a complete disappointment. I drove 2 hours to test drive and purchase this vehicle. Upon test driving the car, I noticed the low tire pressure light was on. I made mention of this and was told by Marcus it was just because of the recent change in weather and that the TPMS gauges are very touchy on Subaru's. I test drove the car not exceeding 55 mph. All seemed fine. I made mention of the TPMS light a few more times to Marcus and it was chalked up to weather each time. No effort was made to take the vehicle back and double check this concern, which I should have insisted on since I had a 2-hour drive home. With the exception of the TPMS light, everything seemed fine upon leaving. I started noticing vibration in the steering wheel upon reaching speeds of 65+ mph. I attributed it to the low tire after being reassured again and again that it was just due to the dip in temperature. When I arrived home around midnight, I was sure to look at the tires, which all appeared to be fine. The next morning the tire was visibly lower than the rest. With this being the first time I could inspect the tires in the daylight, I noticed multiple 1.5-2 inch pieces of rubber missing from the side wall on two tires. I reached out and notified Marcus to express that this was not a temperature issue and was told that I must have picked something up on the way home. I filled the tires and went to a local tire shop. The left front tire had 2 patches that had to be replaced. Since the light remained on, I decided to look into purchasing new tires. During the balancing process of the new tires I purchased as a result of the condition of the ones I was sent home with, it was discovered that both front rims were bent. The shop sent a video showing how bent the rims were. For safety purposes, these rims were moved to the rear, 4 new tires were placed on the car, and the TPMS LIGHT finally went off. The vibration remains, only now it's in the rear end instead of the front end. My biggest issue with this entire purchase is that this car is supposedly "CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED" and should have never left with tires/rims in this condition. I reached out to the General Sales Manager and was told if the tires had pieces missing the dealership would have replaced them. 99% of my miles are highway. I did not hit anything or pick anything up on my drive home. This all began prior to leaving the dealership. I have provided the balancing video and sent photos that clearly show pieces of rubber missing from the tires PRIOR to my leaving the dealership, however, the General Sales Manager continues to express that it must be the result of something that happened after the sale because they would have addressed these issues in certifying a preowned vehicle. If that is the case they would have filled all fluids prior to selling the vehicle. There was no windshield wiper fluid and the TPMS light was on, the tires had visible patches, which leads me to believe it must have been a hasty inspection. To this the manager had no comment. Peltier Subaru failed to investigate the issue with the tires, even though I mentioned it multiple times throughout the sales process. I have gone back and forth with multiple people at different levels in the dealership and keep getting the run around or no response back. No resolution has been reached. I am extremely disappointed in my purchase of this car. I would not recommend that anyone purchase from Peltier Subaru. If you want an honest and wonderful buying experience, make the drive to Hiley Subaru of Fort Worth. Ask for Andy - he sold us our 2022 Subaru Ascent. You will have the best buying experience with them and when you reach out, they will be sure to get back in contact with you and check or assist with any concern you might have. read more

Our Subaru journey originally began wwwwwaaaayyyyy back in North Carolina in 2016 with a Premium Crosstrek (Felicia 1.0) from Raleigh, NC. We moved to Fort Polk, La that same year. We have family up near Tyler and were in the area needing an oil change. Long story short we walked out with a 2015 Touring Forester I was not comfortable in the 2016 Crosstrek (I don't remember the salesmen's name). The Forester (Gertrude) was our only car for over a year. We first met Dorian when we were in town, again, to look at the Ascent and to get our Forester serviced. Wonderful car, but we weren't quite ready for it yet. We also looked at the 2019 Crosstrek too. We finally decided to purchase another vehicle, several months later, another Premium Crosstrek (Felicia 2.0). This time a 2019. For whatever reason the 2019 Crosstrek is designed way better than the 2016. Again, we only had one car at the time, my wife was away at a conference with the car and I was having to ride my bicycle 8 miles one way to and from work. Needless to say, in this Louisiana heat it got old riding my bike. But hey, I lasted over a year. I literally called my wife, told her to call Dorian, tell him what she wanted and to have him call us when the car was in. Momma got a brand new ride! I'm way more comfortable in the 2019, we even drove all the way to Myrtle beach, SC with ZERO complaints from yours truly! Anyway, we went in for services yet again, as we are about to move to Colorado Springs, CO and were needing extensive service done on the Forester (Gertrude). Roughly around $2500 worth. We put many miles on the Gertrude, over 111000. A lot for only being a 2015. My wife stated that I might as well get a new car and use the $2500 that we would have spent on repairs on Gertrude as a down payment on something new. Well......we told Dorian to make it happen and we walked out with a new car that same day! Helga is now apart of our family and we couldn't be happier with her (2019 Ascent Limited). Thank you so much Peltier Subaru, and Dorian, we are customers for life! Next up, (Name TBD-I'm digging Zoomer) WRX STI for my wife's graduation present for completing her PhD! So my sister went into the Nissan branch to buy a car that was listed at that specific lot but but after the deal had been finalized and the paperwork has been signed there was a mix up and the car belonged to the Subaru dealership. So instead of making it right and go ahead with the already accepted deal the manager at the Subaru refused to honor the deal even though it was only $1200 off of the asking price and is now demanding more money. Dorian Madison was very knowledgeable about the cars he showed and we wound up buying from him. It was after hours so they were quick to arrange another date to come back and get the vehicle detailed. My daughter brought a 2009 Legacy to the dealer with 36K miles on it and told them it was hesitating when driven and at times wouldn't go faster than 25MPH. The dealer's conclusion was that she needed A NEW TRANSMISSION FOR $5000!!! She then took the car to a reputable garage where they found it needed a new oxygen sensor which was damaged during an earlier repair, unrelated to the current problem. The total bill was $4-$500! DON'T EVER go to this dealer for a repair. They'll do what they can to "motivate" you to buy a new car. Including quoting "needed" repairs to further "encourage" you to trade in your old car so they can fix it cheaply and resell it for a nice profit. What other motivation could they have for this kind of blunder? If their service department is REALLY this BAD at mechanical assessments, then THEY CAN'T BE TRUSTED TO MECHANICALLY ASSESS YOUR CAR ! read more
