I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone. Costumer service is horrible, I enter the location around noon on Wednesday, 17th June. Need two items sewed and the other item patched. (Keep in mind all items was washed before arrival.) Right away the older man gave me some attitude and asked me if my shorts were dirty because he smelt something. (I was socked how rude he was. And confused thinking, if my shorts was dirty (it was not) YOU ARE A CLEANERS) So I brush it off and took it as a joke, I am a Navy Vet so a little rudeness from a foreigner don't bother me. But when I ask if they are able to patch my shorts due to having a medium size hole in them. He said no, they can't patch them because they no longer have a machine to patch it. (In my mind I'm think its a special type of machine that does patch work) So I said, ok, i put that item away and brought out my other shorts and proceed to ask can you sew this small hole in my shorts pocket. he started to yell at me like i was somebodies dog. Again I am a Navy vet, and fought for this country and I really don't appreciate a foreigner yelling a me for something petty as a a small hole in a pocket. Also, it was 109 degree outside, there were no AC inside. They had the doors open. I have been taking my clothes to El Dorado Cleaners for four years. Initially, the service was pretty good, and the prices were exceptional. By year three I had noticed some inconsistencies in their service such as a few dirt marks and stains on my clothes at pick-up, but I just let it go. Recently, their care of my clothing items has diminished. My first real complaint to them was about two months ago. I received one of my knit shirts from dry cleaning with holes throughout the garment. I knew it wasn't in this condition when I dropped it off to them, so I brought it back to show the owner. The interaction was not pleasant. The owner was defensive and combative. He claimed that the garment was like that when I dropped it off with no reference or proof to his statement. He did, however, discount the clothes I was dropping off that day with hesitation. I was still willing to use their services because things happen. Fast forward to this morning. While getting dressed for work I decided to wear a wool sweater that was recently dry-cleaned there. When I removed it from the hanger, I realized it had been shrunk to the point I could no longer wear it. It would not go past my chest. I was disappointed they would put it on a hanger and return it to me like nothing happened. When I took it in to show the owner, the interaction was worse than the first time. He claimed that they followed the directions on the tag, and it must be a manufacturer's defect! When I asked why they didn't inform me that it shrunk, I was told they wouldn't have known it was an adult-size sweater because they don't take pictures of their customers as a reference. The owner was extremely rude and disrespectful. He went into his cash drawer threw $5 on the counter and said, "That's all you get". He called me names such as "typical". When I asked why he was being disrespectful, he got down on the floor in a plank position and said, " Is this better"! He proceeded to get up and told me to leave the cleaners and that he could refuse service to anyone. He continued and accused me of wanting to pick a fight even though he was the one raising his voice and causing a scene. I never once raised my voice. I spend a significant amount of money monthly using their services, which is why I am appalled at the interaction. I will NEVER use their services again! His problem solving is trash and he is not accountable for their mistakes. I have lost over $250 in clothing in the last couple of months using their services. read more

First impressions mean a lot. In the beginning they were great, however it changed after I noticed a couple things. They have different prices for their friends. They charge an up charge for all your items and come up with random prices for what they call "it's different fabric" they are not legit, and are quick to scam and bamboozle you into paying a higher price. Next episode they lost 4 items of which I still had to pay for and wouldn't return my money because they claimed "well we still washed it we just need to find it" they kept having me come back for 4 weeks to see if my items were found of which I tried to explain to them they can call me if they find it, they directly said no they wouldn't do that because they're too busy running the cleaning business. In conclusion they lost my items, never returned payment, and still acted arrogant towards me if I didn't like their service I can go elsewhere. Do not drop your clothes off here. I did finally use the alteration service to have my son's latest ROTC uniform pants hemmed. I will never do them myself again! The pants were done as scheduled - we even had time to have the uniform dry cleaned before it was needed. The hemming is perfect (ROTC rules don't allow cutting the pants, since they'll eventually be issued to someone else). And I felt the price ($10) was more than fair. I like this place. The owner works the front most days and he's a very kind person. I've been going there to have my suits and collared shirts dry cleaned for about a month and have had no issues. They're open on Saturdays, very affordable, and so far have done great work. I highly recommend them if you live in the area. The outside looks dumpy, but most buildings in the area do. There's plenty of parking though. They also do bulk laundry which is a god send if you hate doing laundry or don't have the time, and pick up is quick and painless as long as you have your ticket. I have been using this service on and off since I moved to Vegas in 1998 but was greatly disappointment with the treatment I got recently. I brought my husband white linen shorts set to be cleaned. The lady charged me $9.50 when less than a month earlier I brought 2 sets and paid $14. Didn't question her and just paid it. Went to pick it up and the gentleman looked at my receipt and said " my daughter overcharged you and gave me $1.50 back. I was happy to hear that until I saw him walking the clothes over to me and noticed a big black spot on it. I pointed it out to him and his response was " you must have brought it here like that". We went back and forth and he said "you ask your husband and I'll ask my daughter." Of course I knew I didn't bring it in there like that but to passify him, took my ticket and left. Went back a week later and they had attempted to get the spot out so now it has a big yellow stain. I say not good enough, he goes in the back with it comes back out after a few minutes and says, "you were right we forgot to rinse it out", stain still visible. He says "what's the problem your husband can wear it. Take it and get out of here". I tell him I want my money back he says "I'll give you $3 because I gave you money back the last time. I say no and he proceeds to throw $6 at me before I can say how much he gave me previously and why. He then tosses a few dollar bills at me when I say it wasn't enough. I take the few $s owed me and toss the rest back to him. Needless to say I wil never ever use their service again. He was rude and condescending and kept saying I brought it in like that. If I did his daughter should have pointed it out to me. I even went through the pockets again while there to make sure nothing was left in the pockets and there was no stain. I've been taking my dry cleaning to this location for about 10 years and had great service. If you get you items to them before 9am, they'll be ready by 4pm the same day. They're open Mon-Sat, and they open at 6am which is very convenient for dropping off items when I'm on my way to the office. They do the dry cleaning onsite, so I've never had anything lost. They have reasonable prices, and the owner and his staff are very friendly. They also have a laundry service, but I haven't used that because I wash my own clothes at home. I only use them for dry cleaning. I believe they send the laundry item out to another service provider. read more
