I've been to the dry clean multiple times but will never come back here after today. I brought a jacket in for dry cleaning, and when I picked it up, I immediately found a tear on the inside bottom of the jacket that was not there before. When I confronted the woman about it, she was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of taking responsibility or offering to fix it, she asked me "What do you want me to do about it?" She claimed she "didn't check" the jacket and said I had no proof, then tried to accuse me of already knowing about the tear -- which is absolutely false. The jacket was returned on a hanger, wrapped in plastic, and the tear was the first thing I saw when I flipped it over. To make it even worse, she tried to charge me $10 for a few stitches on damage that happened while the jacket was in their care. That is completely unacceptable. Damaging a customer's clothing and then trying to make the customer pay to fix it is outrageous. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service here is unbelievable. The attitude was arrogant, as if they're the only dry cleaner in Las Vegas. They are not. Save your money, save your clothes, and go anywhere else. read more

I used the AI feature to describe exactly what I needed and thus got connected with Phantom Vegas Cleaners & Alterations and I'm sooo glad I did! Brought my dress in that day and they helped me out so much. The tailor reminded me a lot of my nonna, which was so special because my nonna was also a tailor. I grew up having my nonna or nonno tailor my dresses and pants, so this was the first time I've actually had it done beyond family. Super easy to hem the dress at the bottom, and I believe she is the owner, but another woman helped me and checked me out at the counter. It was definitely a fair price since I needed it within a week, and they were able to do that! Came in yesterday to pick it up and I tried it on before leaving just to make sure it was good to go. It was perfect!!! I will only be taking my dresses here to get altered from now on! I actually have a jacket I've been meaning to get tailored, too, so I might be back in the fall to have that done! I had my eye on using this business for an alteration based on the reviews but the conversation was being set to position me for a bait and switch. Yelp says that it was George, the business owner who I was communicating with via chat but I doubt that a business owner would be so unprofessional or sound like a crook before hooking a customer for a business transaction. Whoever was chatting, tried to flip the script when I mentioned that he sounded like he was trying to do a bait and switch. The quote given was between $20-$500 to hem a dress. And the turnaround time is one week unless I pay more to rush. I then asked is it possible that my time frame would be pushed back if someone came in and paid more for a rush. He said that it sounds like I need more than a hem. He sounds like he's settling the stage for the perfect bait and switch and for holding my dress hostage to squeeze as much money from me as he can. If I were you, the only way I'd used this place is if there's enough time to wait until he realizes that he can't squeeze you for extra money and releases your garment to you in a timely manner. Update: I don't see where I called names or where there's an indication of frustration. Please post a snapshot of that chat that's indicative of name calling and shows signs of frustration. If you can't do that then everyone will know that you you're lying. I blocked you because you wanted to go back and forth accusing me of needing more than I inquired about and my day was much too busy to go back and forth with you. Plus, it was strange for a business owner to want to fight with a consumer, even after I made it clear that you professional skills are lacking and I felt uncomfortable doing business with your company. Earlier this year, I found myself in Vegas on a 2 month work assignment and needed a dry cleaner near my AirBnB.  Phantom was only a 5 minute drive, so I gave them a chance.  I would drop off my clothes in the morning, and they would be ready in 2 days.  I would have my dress pants dry cleaned and my dress shirts laundered and pressed.  Occasionally, I would have a special request.  The zipper on one of my pants broke, but they had that fixed pretty quickly.  And I got blood on one of my white shirts (I'm OK, but you should have seen the other guy!), and they were able to get that out, even though I didn't bring in the shirt for a few days after the incident.   Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of work.  I loved driving up right to the door to drop off and pick up my clothes.  The next time work sends me to Vegas, I'll bring my business here! read more
