5 stars all the way. I mean come on, did you see how many 5 star reviews he already has?! Excellent…read moreservice from start to finish. Moath was referred to me so I messaged him when my parents needed their electrical panel replaced, and 2 new heaters installed. Moath is straight forward, no bullshit, no big company sales-tactics. My parents had received a quote from a well-known company but after I reviewed their 3 quotes (all of which were pages long) for a panel replacement, I saw the sales tactics straight away. Moath will not attempt to sell you on things you do not need and will not try to confuse you with multiple unnecessary options or pass you around to multiple points of contact. He will know what you need and provide an honest quote. After delivering the quote, he will allow you to make your own decision without constantly texting, emailing or calling for an answer. That is one of the qualities I appreciate as a customer. Upon his arrival he got to work right away. His work is meticulous. His wiring organization is superb, his cuts into the wall were clean & asked us for input on how we would like to run new wires. He answered any questions we had. He is professional, respectful, polite, prompt, trustworthy & efficient. I will also leave this note for you all to read as well because the person who referred me to Moath prefers not to leave online reviews: Moath was called to solve an electrical issue when a big company was not able to figure out. This company charged us $300 for the visit (mind you, they didn't fix anything). When Moath arrived he knew what the issue was within minutes, fixed it immediately and the city inspector said his work was one of the best he had seen. I'm currently waiting for the city inspector to do their due diligence at my parent's house but I'm confident there will be no issues. Thanks again Moath! We will keep passing your name around!

He took the time to listen to what I was seeing instead of jumping to conclusions. Then he went through the outlets one by one and did a pretty thorough check. What stood out was how quickly he was able to find the actual problem--it didn't feel like guesswork. After fixing it, he tested everything again to make sure all the outlets were working properly. That extra step mattered to me because it showed he wasn't just trying to do a quick fix and leave. He also gave some practical advice on a few devices in the house that weren't really useful and what could replace them. I asked him about EV charging, and he walked me through different options, including cost and tradeoffs, in a way that was easy to understand. Overall, he knows what he's doing, communicates well, and seems honest. I'd call him again.

I'm happy that I found this company; I had never used them before so I just requested an onsite…read moreestimate. They are the electrical division of a larger company and I thought my job would be too small (replace two ceiling fixtures and install two can lights in a plaster living room ceiling. They were professional and timely and I'm glad I went with them. I had the estimator come over, talked about options, made a deposit and then it was seamless. Roger the scheduler was fantastic and provided even more details. We share photos and thoughts and the we scheduled it for the next week. Donald came out, super nice guy, talked a little golf while he worked and then before you knew it , he was cleaned up and done. Highly recommend. Attached is a photo of the dimmable ceiling lights .

I hired Rock Electric in April 2026 for a residential electrical job after being provided an…read moreestimate that included $350/hour for two technicians, plus $125 travel time with a 2-hour minimum, and an additional hour billed at $350. Only one technician, Don, actually performed work onsite. According to office manager Jacob, the second technician, Ace, was "running errands" and picking up supplies. The materials list consisted of 24 feet of #2 THHN, 12 feet of #4 THHN, and two switches. I was billed a flat $250 for materials with no breakdown whatsoever of what any of the items actually cost. What makes this even more frustrating is that the job had been scheduled three weeks in advance, yet Rock Electric still claimed they needed a technician running around at $150/hour to retrieve these basic materials. The scope of work included replacing conductors from strike to meter line side, troubleshooting the front porch light, replacing a bathroom outlet, troubleshooting an office light fixture/switch, and installing Ring doorbell transformer wiring. Not all of the work was even completed. The bathroom outlet replacement was never done, and although the Ring doorbell was connected to existing wiring, it still does not function properly and required further investigation. The job also required a disconnect/reconnect from Puget Sound Energy. Rock Electric charged me $890.63 including tax for this service, while the actual charge from Puget Sound Energy to Rock Electric was $595.95 including tax. When questioned about the difference, Rock Electric claimed that Puget Sound Energy rates "change daily," so they charge a set rate. This was never disclosed in the estimate. I requested a refund for the cost of the second technician who never actually worked onsite, as well as for the difference between what Rock Electric charged me for the disconnect/reconnect and what Puget Sound Energy actually charged them. Instead of addressing the concerns directly, Rock Electric responded with a mock invoice attempting to justify the charges and argue that using one technician supposedly would have cost even more than the two-technician rate. Their general manager Ben also left a voicemail trying to re-explain everything, but there is no reasonable explanation for charging $350/hour for two technicians while only providing one onsite, or for heavily marking up a third-party utility service they didn't even perform.

I recommend them…read morewithout hesitation for their talented people, can-do attitude, professionalism, a successful outcome, and a great customer experience!! The backstory: my family and I were in Alaska when the PNW had a big freeze and our pool heat pump condenser and above ground pipes froze and burst. No one was able to come to our home for a couple weeks due to all the other customer priorities dealing with the aftermath of the storm. I completely get it...a pool is not a priority when others are without heat. So our son purchased and installed a new condenser to get the pool water flowing to avoid frozen water in the pool cracking our pool walls and creating a much bigger problem! Our next challenge was to find a way to purchase and install a highly regulated refrigerant requiring a license and special tools. We soon learned that DIYing the refrigerant to get the heat pump working was not possible. For over three years I called different service companies asking for help - pool service companies such as Aquaquip who originally sold and installed the unit, and AquaCal; a different AquaCal, the manufacturer of the pool heat pump; other dozens of other HVAC contractors too numerous to mention except I will mention my serious disappointment with South Sound Plumbing with whom we spend a lot of money annually to service our other home heat pumps. After 30 different phone calls none would help us. "Too risky they" said, "wouldn't be able to warranty the work" said others. The truth? Our problem was simply too small a job or didn't fit their known expertise. Northwest was willing to help (BTW they showed up on the top of a list of HVAC contractors during my ChatGPT co-thinking session). I'm so grateful to Darlene (who took my call and listened with compassion to my unusual problem. I'm grateful to Zane, Northwest's Service Manager, who spent time deeply listening, brainstorming an approach, and getting someone out to our home. Finally, heartfelt kudos to Nate, our HVAC tech wizard, who successfully got our pool heat pump heating water! Yahoo! If you've got an HVAC challenge that doesn't fit neatly into your current HVAC service company's service menu or you want to partner with a company who really cares about delivering value and a great customer experience, I highly recommend Northwest Expert Heating, Cooling, and Electrical!

They failed to install proper vibration pads, which I can understand, but it really should be corrected. At the next service appointment, I reported the issue expecting it to be fixed. Unfortunately, they've since consistently delayed and outright refused to fix the problem. I followed up at least 5 times - each time being told I'll get a call back. Thankfully the issue isn't having a big impact on the heat pump itself, but it is disappointing that they've failed to honor their service contract.
