Moath was referred to me so I messaged him when my parents needed their electrical panel replaced, and 2 new heaters installed. Moath is straight forward, no bullshit, no big company sales-tactics. My parents had received a quote from a well-known company but after I reviewed their 3 quotes (all of which were pages long) for a panel replacement, I saw the sales tactics straight away. Moath will not attempt to sell you on things you do not need and will not try to confuse you with multiple unnecessary options or pass you around to multiple points of contact. He will know what you need and provide an honest quote. After delivering the quote, he will allow you to make your own decision without constantly texting, emailing or calling for an answer. That is one of the qualities I appreciate as a customer. Upon his arrival he got to work right away. His work is meticulous. His wiring organization is superb, his cuts into the wall were clean & asked us for input on how we would like to run new wires. He answered any questions we had. He is professional, respectful, polite, prompt, trustworthy & efficient. I will also leave this note for you all to read as well because the person who referred me to Moath prefers not to leave online reviews: Moath was called to solve an electrical issue when a big company was not able to figure out. This company charged us $300 for the visit (mind you, they didn't fix anything). When Moath arrived he knew what the issue was within minutes, fixed it immediately and the city inspector said his work was one of the best he had seen. A few outlets in a room of my home randomly was providing very low power one day. The breaker wasn't tripped so I didn't know what else to troubleshoot. I did a Yelp search and found Washington Electricians rated very high so I reached out to them. Moath quickly responded within 20 minutes and we were able to schedule the inspection and repair a couple days later. Moath was kind enough to give me an ETA before he arrived. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue: we accidentally overloaded and partially melted some wires upstream since we had two space heaters on the same circuit, but the breaker didn't trip because it didn't exceed the amp rating. He repaired the wires and replaced the outlet. He also inspected and repaired a few other outlets we had concerns with, including one outdoors. He also gave me suggestions on space heaters and how we can avoid this problem in the future. Moath finished the job in under an hour. With all the outlets that Moath inspected and repaired, I thought the repair fee was reasonable, especially since it seemed to avoid any unneeded or excessive repairs. My range trips a lot even when I only have two burners on. It bothers me for very long time because I was worried about tripping if I turn the heat on. It becomes worse recently. I contacted an electrician from the other company to take a look. I have a 40 Amp breaker. They came to test it out and suggested to install a 50 Amp wire and breaker to avoid overloading. I contacted Moath for a quote to replace wire. He mentioned that I may not need to replace it so soon. He suspects the breaker is faulty and we scheduled a service call the day after. After he came, he tested it out and replaced the breaker. And it works! It took less than 40 minutes to get the problem solved and saved me a ton of money from not having to install a new wire. I had an issue with my new 14,000 BTU portable AC tripping the electrical circuit. I'm not an electrician, but it was logical to believe that it was overloading the circuit. I tried to figure out solutions on my own and by Googling. But, something inside was telling me not to mess around with electricity. I thought the easiest solution is to just replace my AC with a smaller load one. The thought of having to go through the replacement process with the vendor, maybe even having to repack the heavy current AC, was not pleasant. Plus, I didn't want to switch to a lighter AC due to the large air space of my living room / kitchen needing a higher load AC to keep it relatively pleasant and cool. On a whim, I contacted Moath from Washington Electric through Yelp to see if I can have a professional give me their advice. He responded right away and we scheduled a phone call the next day. I was expecting that we need to schedule a consultation visit and go from there. Instead, he asked me to describe what my issue was in detail. After he listened to what I described, he explained my options in detail, patiently and clearly answering all my questions. At the end of the call, the solution which I chose, connecting my current AC to another circuit, this time 20 amp, which did not have another high-load appliance on it, albeit needing to use a long heavy-duty extension cord, made the most sense to me. Power to the garage went out on Boxing Day, which we noticed because our tankless water heater wasn't working. Checked the fuse and other outlets and then swapped the fuse and plugged the water heater in an inside outlet to verify it worked before calling. My EV charger stopped working; I had a fantastic experience with Mo. From the start, Mo was super-responsive; I had an estimate in-hand in less than 30 minutes from my first reach-out.
