I…read morearrived well ahead of time, but after waiting 45 minutes after our start time the guide never showed up at the meeting point. I eventually had to leave. I was told a marathon was impacting traffic, but as a traveler who planned ahead and arrived on time, this is something the company should have anticipated and communicated more clearly. I also spent about $80 in Uber fees just getting to the meeting location, which added to the frustration. To their credit, the guide later connected me with the first food stop and arranged for tacos and issued a full refund, which I appreciated. However, the bigger disappointment was the lost opportunity--I could have booked a drag show or another tour during that time instead of waiting. Customer service tried to make things right after the fact, but better planning, proactive communication, and respect for guests' time would have made a big difference.

The employee that helped me, Maria, was an absolute hero, she searched for the bike I wanted and managed to not only find it exactly, but even helped me keep the sale price! I went in and she showed me each bike that was similar in case we were unsure, and was very patient as we tried each one. In the end, she got us a really good price and left us feeling confident we made the right decision with it, and could not be happier. The service really knocked it out of the park and I will definitely be sticking here for any future bike purchases. Cannot recommend enough!

Both are located near public parking garages, but you might be able to find 1 hour of street parking for $4-something or 2 hours of street parking for $9.45 (what we paid). If using one of the public parking garages, I think the rates are $10/hr or $50/day. We decided to go with Sun & Fun Cycles since both places seemed to be a toss up in terms of reviews. Also, The Bike Shack is closer to Hollywood Blvd, so our assumption was street parking would be more difficult to secure. We called before committing to a parking spot in order to confirm their location and the availability of the bike we wanted, and all of our questions were answered in a friendly and professional tone over the phone. The bike we chose for our party of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 10 and under) was the 4-wheel Surrey. We decided to rent it for (1) hour, which was $35. You can either pay with cash or Zelle (no fees) or do a credit card transaction with a fee. While renting the bike, you leave your ID at the bike shop. We ended up biking for about 45 minutes, riding north to Thomas St, then south to Georgia St, and finally north again to get back to Sun & Fun Cycles. During the ride, we tried having (2) adults and (1) kid on the bench and (1) kid on the bench-basket, and (2) adults on the bench with (2) kids on basket-bench. Each of these seating arrangements worked fine. However, both of the adults had very sore bottoms at the end from the uncomfortable bench seat. Other than that, this was a memorable and fun activity for all.

The waiver system can be a little complicated especially when checking in multiple children (8-12) at the same time. Each child requires the same lengthy form as a single adult. But overall, all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The waterways were fairly easy to navigate and a great way to get up close with Florida's lovely and expansive wildlife/sealife and the all the water equipment were in good conditions.

The equipment is clean and the trip is worth it, plan for a good weather day because i feel like this is the only way to really enjoy it. I will be back to visit again for sure.

They have said it before and I will say it again,…read more Unfortunately my neighborhood bike shop has a non-empathetic, sneaky, zero customer service skills, it's probably about time to retire, type of owner running the show. Because of my bike geometry, I called beforehand simply asking if I can come in for an opinion on where I should install an attachment on my bicycle. I just wanted an expert opinion and I wanted to test this stores customer service, in case I decide to return; never, even if you paid me. I get the approval and I'm on my merry way. As soon as I arrive, I am not greeted by this owner, instead, I had to explain again that I need to install the plastic piece that holds a lock in place, so that you can ride your bike without having to carry your lock around. He says "my mechanic can do it for you, $10". As a reminder, I called beforehand for an opinion on a simple item that anyone can install and this is not what drove me to write this review. This owner, Sam, knowing that my Carbon Fiber bike cannot and should not have any clamps with pressure on the bike. So, his employee finally had to speak up to give me the information and opinion I asked for, after asking several times, which was to not install this on the bike. You wanted to make $10 only to have one of your locals destroy their bike and maybe even injure themselves because of your less-than-moral business practices. I have no other words other than to strongly recommend you take your business to Willie's on 79th or Miami Bicycles on 125th. Sam P., It's time to give up the keys to someone who truly cares and knows what it means to own a real bike shop.
