For me, this company was unreliable and a waste of time. I made an appointment weeks ahead to get an estimate for ceiling lights all over the house. I reached out and confirmed the appointment with them the day before. But no one showed up at our appointment time. I had to reach out only to find out that he was on the other side of town. He promised he'd drive over in 30 minutes so we waited. He arrived past that but I tried to understand that traffic can be erratic on Saturdays. The real issue is that a week later I still didn't have an estimate. I sent them a text just in case they lost my email or number. And I got a reply back that an estimate is on the way. Our GFCI outlet burnt out, so we called and Carlos came out to repair. Carlos was great, fixed everything and the total was reasonable, around $85. I talked to Sophia from the office and let her know to send me an invoice via email so I can make the payment. She sent me the email, and I made the payment, no issues. Today, Carlos and another guy we don't recognize comes by while I'm not home and is demanding payment from my wife. Luckily, I see them on my ring camera and I ask them why they are physically at my house. It appeared that since they "thought" they didn't receive payment, they would come by to intimidate us for payment. This is completely stupid as payment was already made (email proof) and it was only for $85. Why not just call and ask me? If I made an error of some sort in making payment, I would gladly make the payment again, it's just $85. Sending 2 guys to my house to intimidate my family while I'm at work, to make payment is the worst thing you can do. Terrible business practice!!! read more

They responded quickly and told me that they had someone available that morning and I provided my information. I asked what time they would be at my home because I'm working from home and needed the issue fixed as soon as possible. Before I knew it they were here which was great. I did not request a quote from Electric for you directly. I requested a quote from a particular electrician and Yelp asked if I was interested in sending my request for a quote to other electricians. I agreed and within a few hours I received 3 replies from electricians. I settled on two to come and provide a free estimate. I was given a two hour arrival window from Electric for you for the estimate, which I appreciated. I met the electrician and agreed to the work. We scheduled for a Saturday. The day of the work, the electrician was running late, but Sofia emailed me that the electrician was running late. I understand things happen, and I appreciated the notice. The electrician replaced two light fixtures with LED versions and replaced 5 outlets in my living room. He worked fast and was very good at cleaning up after himself. I would have appreciated him wearing shoe covers (booties) which he did not. But he did have his mask on throughout the work. I look forward to hiring them in the future. read more

We needed a main overhead light installed in our kids bedrooms. Prior to the work we had done by this company, we could only use floor lamps. I got on yelp and contacted about three or four local companies for quotes and these guys were the first to be able to come out and give me a quote for the job. It was SIGNIFICANTLY LESS than the other ones I received, AND they were the only company who said they would not need to drill any holes in my wall to get the job done. Other companies told me they'd have to cut out pieces of the wall that we would be left to patch ourselves when it was all done. So we went with Electric for You and they were able to schedule the job for only a few days out. They were in and out in about two hours, and left NO holes in the wall. Cleaned up great. Called them for an emergency. They were pretty accommodating at first. Sophia confirmed the appointment at 08:00AM - 09:00AM for the following morning. But, Victor did not show up until 10:00AM, and that was after so many texts and phone call. Victor did not speak English well, so my tenants couldn't understand what he was saying. Then, he complained that tenants asked him to remove his shoes when entering the house. What a petty thing to complain about. Most other vendors will be respectful and wear booties, even. To replace the meter, they quoted me a price, and after all negotiations, the price could not come down lower. So, I called another company that has much better reviews here, and got a cheaper quote. When I told Sophia that I no longer want their service to change the meter, she immediately lowered the price, but it was too late.
