I used one of the best in Ann Arbor for my 2 but they would not even talk to me except by email when I tried to even get an appointment to come in to talk about my idea. Told me their weekends were booked until November. So after looking at Yelp for a local place, I called here. Told I didn't have to have an appointment to talk and they are open on the weekends, I came in with my idea. Given an appointment for the next Sunday and left my ideas for the artist. But that artist had to cancel due to Covid so the shop worked to get me in as quick they could. I came in on a Tuesday after work. My artist, Andrew Heithecker, was excited and had the library card catalog drawer drawn out but wanted me there to get the cards and the dragon tail right. He hit it on the Head. He could even get the numbers on the cards with marks for the words. Andrew worked quickly and pulled the colors he knew would be the best. Less than 2 hours later he was done and the price was more than fair for the amount of work he put in. While I probably won't get another tattoo, I will recommend this place and artist to others who want a great tattoo. Since I posted pictures of my tattoo on a weird librarian Facebook page and it is a big hit, if any of those who live locally might want to come here also.
