The professionalism wasn't in the building at all. I called before arriving to make sure someone was available. When I walked inside I was immediately smacked in the face with by the strong smell of cigarette smoke. There was a lady (who I'm assuming is the last I spoke on the phone with) and a man there. The man looks at me and walks to the back, okay cool. The lady was too busy having a personal phone conversation she didn't speak to me. I stood around for a minute to see if someone was going to great me, or see what I needed it nope. The jewelry section was almost non existent but then again I only saw the front of the shop so I'm not sure if they had more in the back but from what I saw it was disappointing. Got a tattoo here awhile ago by some new girl. She pushed so deep into my skin I knew it wasn't right. And she fucked up the line work and didn't even apologize. I just got this tattoo covered by a new shop. They told me the work done here was not good and that they went wayyy too deep and caused a scar. My skin was raised. Even with a cover up, you can still see the old design in certain areas because of it. Never go here again. Go somewhere with experience. read more

I had been planning some piercings for a while now and went to some other place with an open floor plan with no privacy and was told to pretty much, deal with it so, I left there and found ink addiction that same day, and decided to try them out. Initially my piercings were done wrong by a sub that happened to be there that day, unfortunately, but Nicole, the original piercer at this location, helped me out tremendously. I came in again weeks later for her to check them out and see why the blood and pain hadn't stopped and she recommended they come out and be redone again. She refunded me the money for the piercings and did them both again for me at no cost. She was very informative and helpful, and took good care of me! Everything was discreet and private at this shop, just like I'd wanted from the get go. They're very clean and autoclave their tools properly, gloved up, and are up to standard! I would def wanna see her for sure if I was to get any more piercing work done! read more

Came here a couple of days ago to get a few piercings that I've been wanting for a while now. I spoke to Kayla and Kim. Kayla recommended I come to this location because they have Kim, the female piercer. So I drove out with adrenaline on high. After I arrived, she was waiting for me since I spoke to Kayla. They knocked $10 off my piercing cost which was so nice of them. When I called Kayla she answered all my questions about the piercing (mind you, I had a lot of questions) and then she called the piercer to give me the discount which I wasn't expecting. Going in the place is clean and standard. Nobody is really all smiles & seemingly ready to help, but it gets the job done. I went in and out fairly quick. I kinda kept talking to distract myself from any upcoming pain and she was real nice about that, which made my overall experience a comfortable one. She was pretty good since I felt virtually no pain on a piercing where she said she's had people pass out! I was told they use surgical steel, which is a pretty standard metal for piercings. The downfall is they don't offer options of jewelry to choose from because there is a shop next door. But if you're getting a new piercing, basic is best for the healing process anyways. If all heals well, I will be coming back! read more

I came in very excited to get a tattoo, and when I presented the idea to Scott, he scoffed at it. So, I showed him another idea. I was immediately dismissed. I ended up not getting a tattoo. My friend, who accompanied me, ended up getting a tattoo by him. When she asked him to alter the tattoo idea he drew up, he rolled his eyes, sighed, and sulked back to his room to touch up the design. Finally, after he was done with the tattoo and she thanked him, he did not even say goodbye. Go to Garnet if you want your tattoo done! He was so sweet!! So My mom and I went into the tattoo place for the $13 tattoos on September 13th. We got there before it started stood in line for six hours so half our day was wasted waiting. Then we finally got our tattoos done but when we got home we noticed that they weren't filled in all the way and we couldn't get them refilled because your supposed to wait till it heals to get it redone so the ink doesn't come out from the first time and we called three weeks later to ask if we could get a touch up and the lady at the front was like no we don't do that with $13 tattoos. Went to pierce my ear with nicole and she pierced my industrial at a straight angle, which resulted in the top of my ear attaching to my skin, and becoming infected because i couldn't get to behind my ear to clean? theyre unfriendly, rude, and mock customers . I went to get my nipples repierced. I got there a few minutes after the shop was scheduled to open (according to the internet and the time posted). I wasn't really greeted, but I was asked what I wanted done and given a consent form to fill out. While filling out my form, the guy at the counter was on the phone cursing up a storm because he was the only one who had bothered to show up on time. Mind you, he never told ME that the piercer wasn't in, or anything. When she DID walk in (45 mins later), she was carrying an infant and carseat, which she dropped off in a back room. No apologies. No explanations. She took my form, and made sure to take my money, before doing my piercing. No discount or anything, for the inconvenience. So this shop isn't high up on my list of places to go when I crave body mods. read more

I have never been to this shop in person, because I have a friend who got a backpiece from Jody. It is embarrassingly aweful....it is not only horribly shaded/outlined, some of the lettering is backwards!!!!!! It looks like that no regerts commercial!!!! Now she is in the process of trying to get the entire atrocity removed...If this is the best Saskatoon has to offer......Drive further away, I promise it will be worth the extra time and gas!! She has started entering it in the worst tattoo category at conventions...At least she can win some awards and free tattoo removal!! I had called ahead and asked if they could do a tattoo for a walk in, mind you I was told there were 3 available artists and described what I wanted, size and area, said I'd be there in an hour and that was fine... showed up, only one artist was there, and already had someone ahead of me. I kinda of got talked into doing a deposit on a tattoo, $50. Made the appt, sent multiple emails with no response until I finally called, 2 days prior to appt, and then he said he couldn't make the changes I asked for in the email saying he already drew what I wanted.... yet never responded to the emails in the first place, so I have no idea what he even drew. So I lost my deposit for a drawing I didn't even see and a tattoo I won't be getting from them. Won't be returning. read more

Best piercing place ever I went here Nov 2018 got my nose pierces for the first time and the lady was so nice so caring and did a great job . I went back the beginning of this month to get my belly button pierces and once again I got the same lady and she did a great job . I really recommend any and everybody to come to this shop to get any piercing done. I will say it was scared because you heard how your piercing can get infected but it didn't happen to me . I made sure I got what she said get and clean them both . I wish be coming back whenever I want to get my piercing and when I want to to change my nose and belly ring . My sister got her belly button pierced. They didn't clean her belly before they pierced it and didn't provide her with cleaning product or written instructions. They piercing was $30 for a jewel j-bar. They were nice though. Me personally, wouldn't go here for any of my piercings. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

I got 3 tattoos done her and love all 3! Although on Halloween 10/31/15 night i decided to get my nipples pierced by Nate. Nate asked if he could have someone shadow as he needed the experience and I said sure as I didn't mind. The first one didn't hurt at all, the 2nd started to bleed; it scared me a little but i figured those things can happen with any piercing sometimes. I asked for the bars and he gave me hoops instead. I cleaned them EVERYDAY and wore a bra everyday as well, 4 months down the line they started to "migrate" out and I had to take them out. I believe that he didn't pierce them correctly. My advice call around, do your background on your pierce and do research on what to expect before and after your visit. read more

This place was so great, I went for the first time to get a tattoo done. I had been off blood thinners for a few days and was promised nothing bad would happen unlike other places whom I won't speak of. Not only was I 100% comfortable I didn't feel ill or even bleed a drop. The ink itself looks fantastic and I will definitely be coming back for my leg piece I plan to do. read more

Went with two of my girlfriends. One friend got a rook and daith and my other friend got her conch and daith. I originally didn't plan on getting anything but I eventually got my daith pierced as well. I got a simple BCR and the procedure was painless. Our piercer was awesome. My total ended up being $25. I left happy and with piercing number 12. I'll more than likely be back for a tattoo. read more

This is going to be very long, so TLDR; the customer service at this shop is non-existent, the staff is rude, they belittle people, and makes fun of their customers, the piercer doesn't clean the area prior to piercing, and I definitely will not be back. Please, please, please do better than I did and take the advice of other reviewers here. I've been to this shop twice - once for a piercing and once for a tattoo. The first was the piercing, almost a year ago. When I got there, the shop looked clean. Unlike others, I was greeted by the person at the counter, and given a waiver to fill out. That part of the experience was fine. I went into the room to get my nostril pierced and the piercer didn't even clean my nose before piercing. I do have to say, I had my nose pierced at another shop well before that and it bled like crazy. That didn't happen here, which I thought was a good sign and enough for me to disregard the uncleared piercing site. Not long after, my piercing started to get infected and even after all of this time, I still struggle with infection at the piercing site somewhat regularly. The jewelry is extremely cheap, which is why their piercings are so cheap. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. A few weeks ago I decided I wanted another tattoo. Since I was familiar with the shop, I decided to stop in because it was going to be a super small and easy tattoo. When I got there I wasn't greeted, but instead just asked what I wanted. I explained and the girl yelled across the shop to one of the tattoo artists who was in the middle of doing another tattoo, to see if he'd have time to do mine. He responded by loudly making fun of the tattoo that I wanted to get. This is when I should have just walked right out. Instead, I waited for about an hour for him to finish up with his other client. While I waited, the staff loudly discussed some type of dispute they were having with their landlord and used language that I wouldn't consider to be appropriate in front of customers. When it was finally my turn, the guy called me back, made fun of my tattoo choice a little bit more, and then basically yelled at me for almost sitting in the wrong spot in his chair...he said that everyone does that and he doesn't know why - probably because he has something else completely blocking access to the area where he'd like for people to sit - while being rude about this he went off on a tangent about how one day someone will break his chair and then they'll owe him a lot of money for it to be fixed and he'll be out of work. I'm seriously rolling my eyes while I type this because I can't believe I stuck around after all of this... anyway, the beginning of the actual tattooing went well. The pain was minimal until about half way through, at which time he kept going over the same spot over and over and over again. I have one other tattoo, which the artist did not do this, and came out beautifully. After all was said and done, he put a piece of paper towel over it, taped it up, and sent me on my way. The healing has completely sucked. It started out super swollen and red, which I expected. What I did not expect was the swelling to turn into what looked like a welt surrounding the entire area of the tattoo. That eventually went away but what was left was a deep and disgusting scab. Again, I expected a little bit of scabbing, but certainly didn't expect it to be completely covered by scab for more than a week. Now that most of the scab has fallen off, it's starting to scab in certain places on the tattoo again. At this point I'm just hoping that it heals and doesn't look like complete garbage, since it's in a very visible place on my body. read more

I got my snakebites done here after Christmas last year and they completely messed it up. First the guy didn't check for veins in my lip and ended up going through my vein which ended up making it get infected really fast. Then the stuff they told me to use to clean it didn't work at all they told me to use biotene which didn't work at all for it. The only thing that was nice about here is the staff was very friendly and was able to calm my nerves a bit about getting my lip pierced. Overall I don't recommend getting your piercings done here read more

Do not come here. Prices are great, don't get me wrong, but it's not at all worth the problems that come up down the line. Their jewelry is extremely cheap and irritated my skin badly. Several months later and I'm still paying for their mistakes. I've been pierced at other parlors and have had no problem. Those piercings have always been fine. And no reputable place only pierces with rings. Your piercer is not looking out for you if they don't pierce you with a stud. That's when you should know to walk away. It's ridiculous that they don't even have a showcase for jewelry in store so that you have basic choices. Their excuse is that there's a jewelry store next door which I do not trust either. Regardless, the angles of their piercings are awful and crooked. They did not put the jewelry they pierced me with in a sterilizing machine and were very rough trying to clamp down the captive bead rings they use. Their staff is not professional or courteous nor do they stick to their own hours. Got a tattoo there as well and the lines were not clean. I've had everything remedied at Eternal Tattoos and Piercings in Livonia. It's always worth getting things done right the first time instead of having to spend more money than intended not long after. There are many great places in Wayne county to get pierced or tattooed. There's no reason to come here. Not even the prices because nearby places are just as competitive AND have neometal/anatometal/things that can actually go in your body. read more

DO NOT GO HERE TO GET YOUR NIPPLES PIERCED! I went here without doing my research and they told me that they could only pierce nipples with hoops because piercing with a bar is dangerous because it doesn't leave room to swell.... I have now unfortunately found out that that is completely untrue. about a month after I got them pierced I went to see an APP certified piercer at a reputable shop and he told me that my piercings were starting to migrate downward because of the force from the curved ring and he showed me how much they had already moved. I talked to 3 different APP certified piercers within the next two weeks at 3 different APP certified shops looking for a different answer but they all said the same thing: Piercing with a hoop is incredibly dangerous, it causes a way higher risk of rejection (Which is what mine had started to do), and that I would never be able to wear a straight bar piece of jewelry in these piercings because they were ruined by the curve of the hoop they were originally pierced with. They all had the exact same answer: Take them out immediately. Ink Addiction was a waste of my money and could've caused me some huge problems if I had not sought advice from other places as soon as I did. If you're considering getting a piercing DO NOT GO HERE, search for a safe shop on safepiercing.org and find someone who is APP certified and knows what they're doing! read more

I am absolutely disappointed with the lack of professionalism within this business. I am determined to write and review it everywhere so that everyone can see it! I would never go here. My first experience here was about 3 weeks ago, i noticed that the piercer Nicki was extremely friendly with the two females ahead of me. I figured that maybe shed known them or something. Just to find out that she didnt and it was their first time. She later took me and her happiness went down completely. Im a corky person that likes to start conversation to lighten up the mood and she just was not having it. Well i just got what i needed and left and completely ignored it and refused to allow it to bother me. I came here again yesterday to get my nose repierced. It had fallen out on sunday after i had previously gotten it done. I called as soon as it fell out to ask for help to put it back in. No response. I called Monday again to ask to get it put back in, a young kind gentlemen told me to come on ahead and he would see what they could do. Well i came in the evening while it was snowing. I called the shop several times with no response again so we went home assuming that they were closed because they informes me over the phone that if no one comes they typically close early. That was monday. I couldnt go in Tuesday because i had no ride. Finally i tried again on wednesday and went in. Piercer NICKI was there. She seemed to have an attitude before we could even speak. She had a phone call in before she even got to me and she was making rude faces towards the call and even insisted on hanging up in the womens face for asking too many questions. I immediately knew that this ladys attitude is jacked up. I told her my situation and she told me my piercing had already sealed and id have to get it redone. I said okay let me think about it and walked out. I was upset because she tried to say that i hadnt called there was no calls that came in and just basically tried to make it seem like i was lying. Why would i lie?! Of course I wanted it done especially since i paid for it! But i walked out ever so sweetly and calm. My boyfriend then insists on going in for me and asking if she could atleast reduce the price since we still have the jewelry. He talks to her and comes out saying that she has a bit of an attitude but will do it for half the price, do i still want it. I say yes of course and go in. As we walk in, it is evident that she went to the back to talk trash about us to her tattoo friends. Her face looked pitiful and she couldnt even give me eye contact. I ignored it again and went about my bubbly personality. I ask her before i start if i could possibly talk to someone about a tattoo i was thinking about getting. I had no intentions on getting it at the time or anything like that. I just wanted him to tell me about tattoos since id never had one and honestly i just wanted to smooth the mood since shed seem so tense. She then says in the rudest tone "so you guys come in here trying to fight me about a piercing price but you want to get a tattoo". I immediately look at my boyfriend and say lets go. And she continues to repeat herself and raises her voice the next time. At this point ive had it and turn around and give it back to her. My boyfriend tries to remove me from the establishment which i wasnt fighting him on and we left. On the way out she comes to the back of the shop still yelling and i yell too while we are about to leave. Nicki had me all types of messed up. My boyfriend even said that after almost 3 years of dating he has never seen me jump out my character like that towards anyone not even him. He was shocked and so was I. Im not sure if it were a race thing from the very beginning because I never call race. I am the poster child for equality on my college campus but that was my first time in life to say that I honestly believe that it was a race thing. Nicki is awful. She doesnt realize that her actions reflect the whole shop. I will keep posting and posting becaus that was the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER FACED IN MY LIFE. I work customer service and have waitressed at a few restaraunts. I would never speak to a customer in that manner even if they were completely wrong. Ask anywhere i work about me and they will tell you how bubbly I am and how much business i actually bring to the establishment. Awful job ink addiction. Very awful job.
