Stations are always out of service. Electrify America sucks in general most stations I go to half of the chargers are down.

At .32c/kWh before 0800, this is a good Supercharger to stop by in the morning. The chargers itself…read moreis very slow. You can arrive with your battery preconditioned and it will take upwards of 30+ minutes just to charge the car from 30% to 80%. So if you are in some sorta rush, or just want to actually charge your car quickly and get going, this is NOT a good charger to go to. The other problem is that it's in the back ally area of a shopping center and there's lots of crows and garbage strewn everywhere. Although it's also conveniently located across from Polly's Pies, there's no other places that's not a bit of walk to grab coffee and such. The obliviousness of other Rivian owners who utilize the superchargers are also awful. Their vehicle charging ports are located in the front part of the driver side panels. They seem to either not care, or don't seem to understand that in those circumstances, one can just pull in park instead of reverse parking like a Tesla would so the vehicle isn't literally parked in the middle of the road. And yes, we can all see you picking your nose and eating your boogers. Like wtf man. Why be so crass about the whole ordeal?

The important thing to know is that if you come during the holidays or on a weekend, it will be busy. The good thing is, as long as you don't mind parking on the very upper levels and walking a bit, I've always been able to find parking. But if you don't like walking at all, this probably isn't the center for you, and there's a lot of walking if you want to explore everything! What I love about this center is that you have everything from Nordstrom to Target, literally! You can find some very unique restaurants, along with typical chains, so there's something for everyone. We'll occasionally see a movie here as well, but that's another review. What impresses me the most is how well-maintained and clean everything is. Even the elevators in the parking garages are graffiti-free, which is very unusual. Now, not all the locations have maintained their interiors as well, but that's on them and not the Irvine Spectrum. My favorite time to come is still in December. We've always found the night atmosphere to have a lot of great energy. And yes, there are a lot of teens who hang around and have loud fun; they're harmless and add to the energy.

All of the times I have came here though to shop and whatnot, I've always had a pleasant experience. They carry a variety of great restaurants and shops. Well, I really came here to say is I'm so excited that Olive Young will be arriving here and that it will house its first Orange County location!

There are some decent food options, and it's a pretty reasonable size, so it's easy to walk around without feeling overwhelmed. I'd definitely come back here again when I'm in the area.

A more accurate description would be "the-mall-that-accepts-anyone-as-a-tenant." I'm pretty sure the beauty supply store is a front for a money laundering operation (they are never, ever open), most of the other stores don't stay open until 8pm (and I'm not talking about just the watch/jewelry stores), and there are just a handful of random, funky places in here. All that aside - I don't really come here to "shop" - but it's a great place to mall walk. It's here that I learned mall walking was a real thing. Weekday mornings, you'll see a fair amount of retirees walking the mall, many before it opens. Not going to lie: my husband and I have turned into evening mall walkers. So, thanks, Mission Viejo for giving us a place to walk.. but not necessarily shop. I really think the leasing department needs to look at what would do well with the community, not just be desperate and sign anyone. Look at how other centers are thriving. 2026: 52/100
