Inventory at this store is absolutely terrible. They don't have a lot of basic equipment that every electronic store should have, like 4K display ports or certain adapters. You're better off going to someone else for most stuff. And that's not even mentioning the fact that everything is way too expensive in there for what you're actually getting. read more

I purchased a washer/dryer set on January 2nd and set it up for delivery on January 10th. I received several notifications by text and also confirmed the delivery through automated message. No one showed up and when I spoke to their delivery dispatch, I was told that my items were not on the delivery truck as they were told the items were picked up on January 9th. I then received a call back and was advised they made a mistake and the items were on the truck and I should get a call from the driver, which i did. He was very dismissive and his response to my issue of wasting my morning waiting for the delivery was "so". He then blamed the store and said he is not able to deliver until 4pm. It's now 5pm and no delivery and no communication from either the driver or their dispatch. This is piss poor customer service and I will not be purchasing anything else from this company due to their delivery service that they utilize. Shameful business practices!!!! I will look into filing a claim to have the delivery fee of $130 reimbursed due to this nightmare. read more

We have usually had success with Electronic Express but we will no longer be using them for anything. We ordered a 75" TV and when they loaded it in the back of my new Lexus SUV they scratched my seat and ripped the back gasket in my trunk. I called Taiwan the store manager several times and he promised to get back to me with a solution which he never did. I also called the corporate office twice and they promised me a district manager would call me back with a solution which never happened. Extremely disappointed with the customer service especially after spending thousands of dollars there over the past several years . read more

I was excited to get a washer and dryer from EE. I paid $130 for delivery and installation *including parts* The washer was brought out and it was plugged in, it's still on the legs, which I have been told should not have happened, since the washer needs to be lowered to the floor. Then the dryer never set up. I was told to call an electrician because I have a normal 3 prong plug outlet and the dryer plug was a L shaped slated plug... I then am told to call an electrician, I ask why not bring an attachment, I am told that they cannot plug certain plugs in...? What? I am sorry, that confuses me. You can't attach an attachment to the plug? How is it a place so small as Bestway can bring attachments but not a company as large as EE?! I would give it zero stars if possible because I already had my other washer and dryer taken away prior to the delivery. read more

I called and asked them to hold a Kenwood stereo and drove there from Murfreesboro and they only had the display. Will not be going back. The manager was there and was aware of the situation and he left and made no offer to make it right. I know you have indicated you will let him know but he knew at the time and did nothing. So I don't really see this as a resolution. I did order the same radio from Amazon and they delivered on time. It is no wonder brick and mortar are having such a hard time. Terrible place to do business. I bought a 75" TV and needed a stand for it. The salesman recommended a "Universal" stand that supposedly fits up to an 85" TV. Short story is it didn't fit after spending an hour putting this thing together. No problem, I'll just return the $89 stand. The Manager wouldn't take it back because it is not in the box. It's put together! How would I know it didn't fit if it was not put together? He said I was trying to "screw" them. Yep, that's the word he used. I spend $1,329 in the store and he thinks I'm trying to screw him by bringing back a $89 stand that didn't fit?? What a piece of crap manager and store! I should have went to Best Buy but I thought I'd give a local business my $$. Never again. My husband and I came into this store a few weeks ago shopping for a new washer and dryer. I already knew the one I wanted. The Maytag bravo. We already had shopped at Lowe's and Home Depot. All three places had great prices. What made this store stand out was that they would haul away our old set for free when the other stores charged 15-20 a piece to haul away. They also had cheaper hoses that are stainless steel. The guys in the store were very nice and helpful. The delivery guys who happened to be brothers were so great. I wish I could remember their names because they were such a pleasure. My Maytag washer and dryer is so great!! It saves so much water, energy and has so many different settings. The hand wash setting is my absolute favorite since a lot of my clothes and my son's clothes are delicate. I do wish electronic express would have the delivery guys wear the foot booties to not bring germs in on the floor. Some people with little ones who play on the floor definitely don't want people bringing germs in on their shoes! Other than that everything was great. read more

This is my first big purchase and as I know mistakes happen, the staff has came of as very unprofessional and non sympathetic to the situation. We had a great experience at Electronic Express in Hermitage. We were trying to decide between buying a refrigerator at Home Depo, Lowe's, or Electronic Express and we chose Electronic Express. Home Depo's prices were too high. Electronic Express' Samsung French Door Refrigerator was less expensive than Lowe's, but I had a coupon for Lowe's so Electronic Express even honored my Lowe's coupon! Electronic Express is great! We will return to them when it's time to buy our next TV. read more

I was in town visiting family for the holidays. We came in Black Friday and I bought 2 tablets. They both wouldn't turn on after first use. Went to return them a few days later after realizing and both kids they call managers wouldn't allow me to return them because I didn't have my debit card I used to purchase them with me. I let them know I was leaving town early in the morning and wouldn't be able to come back again. They refused to put the money back on the card! While driving thru Nashville, my aftermarket amplifier in my car came unhooked from the negative terminal of my battery. I needed to purchase a crimp-on end connector so I could have my tunes back. So I stopped at this store. Big mistake. They had lots of car installation parts, but not this specific part. Knowing they install car stereo, I was talking to the salesperson, when the phone rings, he says, "hold on" and answers the phone (huh? how does a phone call take priority over someone you're actually talking to in person?).. so after a minute or so, he gets off the phone and I ask if maybe I could buy one of them from the installer guy. Mind you, in bulk, these things cost about 15 cents a piece. I told him, "I am not asking for a handout, I'll gladly pay you guys like $3 for one of them" (for reference, I could buy 10 of them on Amazon for $4.99). He went back to the back, and came out, and says to me, "this is why we strongly recommend car stereos are installed here, and we really can't just sell something like this to someone who didn't have their stereo installed here". I was dumbfounded. Then came another shocker, "The installer buys these small parts with his own money (!??!?!)." Ok, so if the INSTALLER owns a bunch of these things, that he paid (at most) 25 cents a piece for, he's not willing to part with ONE of them for $3 cash? I mean, it doesn't even have to be "through" the store... this guy (and the salesperson) had no desire whatsoever to help me, but he sure was quick to "blame" me for not buying or installing with them... 1 star for non-caring employees. read more

I waited a week for a dishwasher to arrive from Nashville only to find out that it wasnt even in the warehouse, my only option was to wait ANOTHER WEEK or get a refund. I chose the refund because there is a huge hole in my cabinets that I cant live with. I was floored to find out that it would be 7 to 10 days for a refund because I paid with a check (which was cashed electronically). Good selection of items, since their remodel, the establishment looks fantastic! I couldn't say that about their staff though. I bought my boyfriend a radar detector for Christmas, and asked if I was able to return it if he opened it and did not like it. The sales associate stuttered, mumbled, and told me i SHOULD be able to. Bought and walked to my car. I read the receipt which clearly states Radar Detectors can be returned within 7 days UNOPENED. I called and asked another associate, they said I SHOULD be able to return it OPENED. I contacted their customer service and they told me exactly what was written on the receipt. So is this some mechanism to ensure people don't return things? To tell them they can do whatever they please when you should clearly know the policy? Also 2/5 for the other staff members who sit on recliners and sofas and watch the TV's on the wall playing movies and sitting on their phones. When I made the return, of the unopened radar detector, I stood in line for nearly 15 minutes with approximately 10 associates staring at me who were just on the sales floor. read more

I have purchased 8 appliances from Electronic Express in the last 3 years. I purchased a dishwasher on 9-29-18. They pushed to sell a add on contract to deliver and install the dishwasher. There was no verbal or written restrictions on the install contract. On the delivery date of 10-3-18 they refused to install because the water shut off valve was located under the house. The delivery truck knocked two 6 inch limbs out of a tree when leaving. They refused to refund my money unless I drove the 100 miles round trip back to the store. They never offered to reimburse for damages to the tree. I suggest you spend your money with a company that provides quality service to their returning customers. read more

This is the WORST place to do business. I bought a mattress set on Monday, was told it would be delivered on Wednesday between 9-12. Confirmed the delivery by phone on Tuesday. Made arrangements to be home from work. Then at 9am on the delivery day I get a call saying that they were out of stock and that the salesman, Joe, in the Hermitage location had put it in as a floor model to be picked up. NOT what I bought! Called the store and spoke to the manager, Andre, who was a complete jerk to me. Told me the order would take a few weeks after he spoke to the warehouse. The warehouse called and left me a voicemail saying it would be Friday. Someone lied!? Called Andre back and he had no explanation for his lie. He was a total jerk once again and made me feel like it was my fault. This was a total disaster and I still don't have my order and corporate is not a help. Having to pay $65 in delivery charges and the store would not refund this for my troubles and now I have to take off work Friday for the delivery!? This place is a joke. DO NOT BUY HERE. read more

I wouldn't even glorify them with one star! My husband and I purchased an entire set of appliances for our kitchen... Refrigerator, double oven, dishwasher, microwave, cook top range, etc. the salesman was very helpful, he found what we were looking for & sold it ALL! He knew what we'd be replacing and arranged for installation (installation is not complementary), Down to the measurements & ventelated range we'd be removing, because the microwave we ordered would be over the range w/ exhaust (also would have to be installed!)... The delivery crew should have known what they were going to have to do right? Unless their good communication was misinterpreted... In this case, i would say NO communication... Just a sale to be made. That doesn't scratch the surface in our experience... So here we go... In April of 2015 my husband and I not only needed (upon purchasing a new home), but also wanted these appliances because, our dishwasher did not work, are double oven did not work or at least the bottom part of it and the top part took 30 minutes to preheat, our freezer did not work nor did we have ice... We moved in this home in December, it was time! $6000 later... part of our appliances came two weeks late due to the weather. We are still awaiting the arrival of our double oven. I am so furious that I'm getting sidetracked...back to the delivery... 2 men arrive, two hours late, without a 30 minute heads up phone call. Five minutes in the door, One man opens a cabinet door and informs us we don't install that, oh and we don't install microwaves, etc. etc. myself being so delirious from having been snowed in for a week and a half, I make a joke..."you all must be exhausted this week" this delivery man, I'll leave his name anonymous for now, proceeds to tell me "ma'am you need to shut your mouth because you are being very rude" in front of my husband, and in our own home, having only been here for less than 10 minutes. Needless to say, they dropped 'what they had' off and he was escorted out, never to return to our home again. Now we are dealt with trying to contact someone, several times, anyone! That can resolve this matter for us, however no one wants to return our calls. Not only are we missing part of our appliances, but we are also being charged for installation fees when nothing was installed. No action has been taken for the behavior of this deliveryman's demeanor. I will be going to the Better Business Bureau, I will be going to electronic express headquarters, and I will NEVER Be using them for anything again! Excitement of new appliances (I personally have never had the luxury of picking out) has been taken to a devastatingly stressful situation. We are now left with trying to find someone to install the equipment, but also to clean up the financial end of installation fees, our first bill is due tomorrow. Nothing is installed, part of our equipment is not here, and there is absolutely zero communication returned to us, just a simple 'professional' phone call would be nice! I'll look forward to seeing if and how they handle the situation. Repercussions will be taken if this is not handled in a timely and proper manner.
