Came here today to make copies of keys. The employee told me basic keys are $2.99 each so I decided to not use any custom keys they have available. The final bill came out to $28 for four keys, charging me 6.99+ tax for all keys. I could've just gotten myself all custom keys if the prices are the same! This is my go to place for things I need for home improvement materials. They usually have everything I need and friendly staff. Sometimes they are short on help but I think they are really trying to keep up with the demand. I love coming here to gather some flowers for the spring and just to walk around grabbing things for my DIY projects. Their prices are competitive enough in a lot of their products and it's nice to just come to one place for them. You can order online and pick up at the store for products and their return policies are easy for the most part. Overall I would recommend this place and definitely come back for more. read more

We purchased a Maytag washer/dryer and paid for extended warranty. This has been the worst experience ever. Their extended warranty is through Allstate. We filed a claim last week following the instructions on the claims process. It says to call a number, which we called multiple times with no answer. Then we got a message we had to do this with a chat by text. THEY WILL NOT TALK TO YOU! THEY WILL NOT CALL YOU! THE ONLY REPSONSE YOU GET IS BY TEXT DEMANDING YOU USE THE TEXT TO FILE YOUR CLAIM WHICH HAD ALREADY BEEN FILED. We ended up calling the Hermitage Home Depot where it was purchased. We got a manager that tried to help and did give us a number that we finally spoke with a person. They shipped the part for the serviceman to come the next day after the part was received. They actually shipped two parts. When the serviceman got one part installed, the bad part on our machine was removed only to find out they had sent a defective part with the same exact issue. He left our machine in its current state saying the part would have to be reordered (late on a Friday). On Monday, the service company said that they had reordered the part and for us to call when received so they could send the serviceman back. This is Wednesday afternoon and we have not received the part. We received the emails this afternoon saying that the part was being shipped and they would schedule the repairman to come back on Tuesday of the next week. We will at this point have been without our washing machine for two weeks when we were suppose to be out at max three days. I will not bet any money it will be repaired next week as stated. DO NOT BUY ANY APPLIANCE AT HOME DEPOT WITH AN EXTENDED WARRANTY IF YOU EXPECT THEM TO REPAIR THE ITEM PROMPTLY. FOR THE COST OF THE APPLIANCE AND THE COST OF THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, YOU COULD MOST LIKELY PAY FOR A SERVICE CALL AND REPAIR WITHOUT THE RUDENESS OF THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE AND BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY TALK TO SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The customer service and Management at this location leaves a lot to be desired. I purchased a large Husky tool cart for my husband's birthday on Friday June 9 to have it in time for his birthday on Wednesday June 14th. It showed the cart was in stock on the website at Hendersonville. I placed the order and delivery for the following day, Saturday. The wrong cart was delivered even though they look very similar. I called Hendersonville to ask what happened and they said it was delivered from Hermitage. So I called Hermitage and the first girl I spoke to did nothing but argue with me, listened to respond, kept talking to another colleague while I was trying to talk to her and told me I needed to take pictures and show proof the cart was wrong. So we took pictures of the cart with the tags still on it showing the incorrect SKU, drove down to the Hermitage store and dealt with Michael the assistant manager and Alex, a store associate. They said they understood the situation and scheduled a pick up and re-delivery of the correct tool cart. We all mutually decided on Monday June 12 coming from the Hendersonville store. Sunday, next day, I got an email that they changed the delivery and pick up without contacting me first. I called Hendersonville asking why they changed it and they said the Hermitage store is the one who will be delivering it now. I called back the Hermitage store for clarification to which they said they will now be delivering it and they had changed the pick up and delivery day to Tuesday instead since they could not accommodate Monday. We couldn't do Tuesday so we decided on Wednesday (his birthday). Wednesday morning the pick up arrived at 6:20 AM. The driver did not have the replacement tool cart as they said he would. Later that morning at 8:30AM, I received a notification saying the delivery had been made even though it had not. I called the Hermitage store and spoke with Sharon? who looked into what may have happened and they "believed" they loaded the incorrect SKU on the truck again. She said they need to build the correct tool cart and cannot deliver it until the Thursday, following day. We agreed to the following day, Thursday (Today). She also told me I could follow up with the store Manager, Michelle if I needed to. Around 4:30pm that afternoon I received another notification saying my order was delivered (again). I called the store to clarify this would not impact the new delivery day. Randall answered the phone and I asked if we were still on track with the delivery despite the additional notification. Alex, then began yelling in the background telling him what to say to me. After a lot of unprofessional confusion (and everything we have dealt with to this point), I asked to speak to the Manager Michelle. I introduced myself and asked if she had been included on this week-long issue yet and she said no. Unbelievable. I re-told her everything up to that moment and she clearly did not care about her teams incompetence and just wanted to go see what tool cart was assembled to see if it was correct. After 45 minutes I called back and Alex reluctantly spoke to me and said that Michelle told her to tell me it's the correct tool cart. I asked if she double checked the SKU's and Alex said "yes that's the one". Based off her non reassuring-tone, I asked for Michelle to personally call me so I can hear it from her. Michelle called about 20 minutes later telling me it's the correct cart and that I was all set. She also said this was "probably just an accident because the carts look the same" with a "no big deal" attitude about it. That is the biggest problem I have with this entire thing. The inconvenience that we were put through for 5 days because this location cannot match a SKU and acting like it's a simple accident. Then not caring enough to make this priority to get this completed the right way, continue to not communicate amongst the staff and have the employees speak to us like we are a nuisance to them really reminded us why we always choose Lowes over Home Depot. read more

I remember when you walked in and asked a question and they knew exactly what you needed and if they didn't know, they found someone who did. Now the store is full of lazy younger people with no desire to help. They'd rather stand around talking. I have been in at least 7 times in the last month and when asked where something is I have been told, "I don't know" then looking at me like, do you expect more? Or being told, "I think it's on aisle" and of course it's not. When asked for help loading cement mixer since Im disabled (even if I don't look at it) the young man clearly preferred standing talking to their co-workers. I've had 2 people out of prolly 8 make sure I was taken care of and they were older workers. The last straw was the table I worked so hard on was just destroyed by a product THEIR employee handed me and said I needed when I asked what I thought was an expert's opinion since I didn't know. So after sanding, painting and working for 5 days between laying on heating pads, I sprayed a sealer on my pink table. The one I was handed and told I needed. It has now dried with what looks like urine stain on it. This was so hard for me physically to do and something i wanted to do since i bought it 4 yrs ago and now totally ruined. When I started this message I called to talk to a manager. 18 min later and I'm ending this still on hold. Update: was on hold for a manager for almost 30 min and then was told the manager was dealing with an IT issue and could they give them a message. I left the message and she said, something like, "hopefully" they can call back. I said, NO I am not requesting the possibility of maybe a call back. Either they call me or I walk in. The table isn't heavy. i could just bring it with me to put on display for others to see. read more

Home Depot Cares More about Policies than Customers Please let me tell you a story about why the Home Depot in Hermitage, TN should be avoided at all costs: · Early November 2021: I notice our dishwasher is leaking and likely beyond repair. We head to the local Home Depot and buy a new *Whirlpool dishwasher · Wednesday before Thanksgiving: new dishwasher arrives but is in horrible shape (literally looks like someone took a sledgehammer to the front of it). We reject the arrival and reschedule · Early December 2021: I'm informed there are shipping delays and there is no ETA on when new dishwasher will arrive. · December 21, 2021. New dishwasher arrives. No visible wear and tear on the outside after removed from the box in front of me. We paid Home Depot for installation, but the assistant was unable (unwilling?) to remove the old dishwasher because he said the tile in our kitchen was blocking the dishwasher and made him unable to remove it. · December-January 21-22. We encountered various issues removing the tile. One dealer wanted to overcharge us. We settled for another source who no showed on the day he was to arrive and basically ripped us off. · March 2022: 1. were able to finally remove the flooring. Home Depot refused to honor the installation we paid for because it was outside the 30-day window. I had to hire a third party to install the new dishwasher. 2. The third-party repair person, upon inspection, finds the "new" dishwasher was also severely damaged, likely during delivery. It was not noticed by us. The third-party repair person is on record saying the damage he saw was with an inspection by flashlight under the dishwasher and that I would not have noticed it unless I knew what to look for. 3. We informed Home Depot of the latest development and their response is basically "too bad and we don't care." It was outside the 30 day window, so they told us we are basically stuck paying close to $1000 for a dishwasher that was broken on delivery. · It looks like we will have no option but to purchase yet another dishwasher. We will NOT be purchasing it from Home Depot and I will never purchase anything from Home Deport ever again. I will cut up my Home Depot credit card as soon as it is settled. If I can talk at least one person out of being a Home Depot customer, I will be very happy, because I know I have done them a huge favor. Second Home Depot I went to after One Hundred Oaks location in Nashville. I'm pretty sure all Home Depot's in Nashville are low quality with lazy employees. I went at 5pm on a Friday and all I needed was 1 piece of wood cut into thirds. I found the wood, walked by maybe 10 employees standing at self checkout talking, went to customer service to page someone to lumber. Waited 15 minutes and called the store while I was in it to ask if someone was coming over. I got put on hold for 10 more min and told all employees who were capable of cutting wood "went to lunch". As I walked out several employees were still standing around talking and no one offered to help. I went to Lowe's right across the street immediately after and they helped me in 10 min. I was there trying to find out about their countertops. An employee had been in the area talking to other customers so I circled and came back around. And then he was nowhere to be found. I went with my daughter to look at washers and dryers. Her washer was not working. She found one that she liked but the delivery date was too far out. She was leaving on business. She picked another Samsung set that would deliver on January 6th. That way she could get her laundry done before she left. The day before they sent an email that delivery was going to be late ,the 11th. She picked a more expensive set so she could have it in time! The salesman said it would deliver on the 6th. He also said that they had them ready to deliver. The delivery dept blamed it on weather. Samsung told her she could have gotten it on time if she had bought it from them. I haven't written a negative review in a long time, it takes a lot for me to have an experience so bad that I feel the need to tell others about it. Home Depot in Hermitage makes it very easy to write this review. My refrigerator crapped out yesterday. The ice maker stopped working and there were enough issues that it needed to be replaced. I'm the type of shopper who will compare...what's in stock, what are the prices, do they have it right away, is there a sale, how fast can they deliver it? All these things go into my decision. So I started at Lowes with my comparison. They had one I liked but like a good value shopper I still needed to compare so I crossed the street to home depot. I got back to the appliance department and started to browse. This lady comes around the corner practically yelling at me "SALE IN NOVEMBER". I told her that I appreciated that but I needed one asap and that I would just like to look around and compare. Well she continued to follow me still yelling at me "DO YOU KNOW YOUR MEASUREMENTS" "I CANT SELL IT UNLESS YOU DO" "THATS COUNTER DEPTH" "WE DONT HAVE THAT ONE" "IF THE SIGN IS BACKWARDS ITS NOT AVAILABLE" "ILL HAVE TO CHECK AVAILABILITY ON ALL OF THESE" Every little thing was an issue. There was one on sale at the front of the department. I assumed, like most probably would, that it was the last one and I could just get that one. So I told her I wanted that one, she proceeds to tell me that she has to check availability and I ask her if I can't just buy they one "WELL OF COURSE NOT!" and then chuckled like I was stupid for asking. She looked in the computer and said she couldn't get it to me until mid November. I said no thank you and headed out. On my way out I stopped at the customer service desk and told them I had the most rude experience I had ever had when planning on spending a lot of money. I also told them I would be heading over to Lowes to buy my refrigerator and I would still do that if it was double the price. Lowes was amazing by the way. I was able to compare and look at each one. I wasn't hovered over. He was there to answer my questions and help me compare, even moving around shelves to help me figure out space. I was able to order and have it delivered tomorrow with my broken one taken away and recycled. My money and time was better spent at lowes and will continue to be spent at lowes. read more

Ruthie in appliances is a gem in this store! We ordered a washer and dryer set and came back the next day and ordered new kitchen appliances. She worked with us both days and she knows her stuff! The 5 stars is for her. We inquired about getting new counter tops installed and attempted to pick out samples and set up a time to come back to provide measurements, however the guy we were working with was rude the entire time. He acted like it was an inconvenience that we were there. Because of that we will be going somewhere else to have our counter tops replaced. read more

We ordered carpet on July 28th. The installer said the pattern in the carpet couldn't be matched and suggested we pick new carpet. We did and almost 2 months later still no carpet. Needed a pair of gloves for gardening, and all they had was dipped in latex or were some sort of impact resistant glove. Then looked for kitchen faucets. Fuel and concenience store, they have lottery and if you shop at Home Depot frquently the rewards programs saves a little on your fuel costs. Prices are comparable or a little lower than the other stores around the area but get alot better if you get one of the 10, 20, or 30 cent a gallon discounts from shopping at Home Depot. read more

So the fridge we got was too big, which was my fault. However, with the help of Randall and Sherradin (might have misspelled that) helped my wife and I find an even better fridge with everything we wanted (filtered water and stainless steel) that was the perfect size for our kitchen. Sherradin then worked with me, moving heaven and earth, to arrange the delivery of the new fridge and the pickup of the one we originally purchased but didn't fit. Now with a proper size fridge installed and our dishwasher installed as well we couldn't be happier! Home Depot customer for life here. read more

Very disappointed with their customer service. Some of the cashiers are never in a good mood and seem to be bothered when you ask for help or questions. Being pregnant doesn't seem to help when I need to load things into my car.. I asked for help and waited 20 minutes in the loading zone only to be ignored by the guy "organizing" and typing in his cashier desk area.. Finally another customer helped me load my things. Bought a Brinkmann Electric Smoker here and realized when I was putting it together that it was missing a few parts. Tried following the instructions in the box for missing parts(Call Brinkmann and leave the retailer alone) but Brinkmann would not call me back. I called Home Depot and they told me to bring it back and they would swap it out and deal with sending it back to Brinkmann. Once there, it was less than a 5 minute process and that was only because they had me check the box to make sure that the replacement had all needed parts. This review is actually for their installation division( Romanoff Renovations). The horrendous job on the remodeled bathroom of my brother's house, and the only reason my writing is because he doesn't have a Yelp account and is partially disabled. Initially they had done a good job on the floor tile, but when it came time to finish, the installer couldn't make the vanity light line up with the vanity basin/sink and left a 2 inch gap next to the vanity basin which should have went in last to allow him to paint behind it (looks terrible), which made it look awful. When he told them he wasn't satisfied they didn't seem to care and wanted him to sign off on the satisfaction of completion? Really? Would not recommend them for an outhouse renovation after seeing it with my own eyes! read more

I went tonight with my family to find a Christmas tree. There were 5 employees with orange aprons drinking hot chocolate and coffee. We asked for help after 5-10 min of picking up trees on our own with no one interested enough to help a family of 4, he said sure, held one tree up that we were considering and then left when my husband said it had not enough branches, lets keep looking. After 5-10 min more of sifting thru trees on our own we crossed the street to Lowes n their one associate who came by to help us right away. We found a tree within 5 min at Lowes. read more

there is no perfect store, no perfect layout, no perfectly staffed place that can meet all of everyone's needs... but today I walked into this store looking for plumbing repair items - I AM NOT A PLUMBER - just a desperate renter of a shabbily remodeled kitchen in a very old house. I had the worst feeling about the outcome -- i went to the plumbing section to buy a new sprayer unit for the kitchen sink, and I asked about that miracle leak-sealing paint i've seen on TV. A man in an orange vest named Ray showed me the sprayers, checked that off my list. He asked what the leak sealing paint was for and I said it was for my kitchen sink because the curvy plastic pipe had come loose from the straight pipe attached to the drain -- and it was leaking into a bucket that was left there by the workmen (i know, right?!!) which I discovered many months after I'd moved in because of a smell that made me look under there... yuck!!!! Anyway, he picked an item off the shelf for $1.79 and (a white plastic screw-on piece with a couple of rubber washers) and showed me how to fix this problem he said "it'll take you 5 minutes" which I did not believe. he took a piece of pipe off the shelf, showed me what to do and said it was sure to work. (I still did not believe it could be that simple.) I asked one more time, and he assured me it would work. I could not imagine this nasty nightmare underneath my sink could be well again... but it was!! both things I bought worked perfectly when I followed his instructions and I called the store to tell the manager what a weight was lifted from my shoulders and actually cried to her on the phone, I was so happy and grateful. Anyway, I hope every store has a "Ray" out there who can change someone's life with 7 minutes of inexpensive parts and basic, but excellent, advice. It's people like Ray that give me hope for humanity. If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I have become increasingly dissatisfied with Home Depot. This last incident has been the icing on the cake. I purchased a LG refrigerator and the woman Sheridan who sold it to me was super nice. They didn't deliver it until three weeks later! I got the thing and the door in door feature kept popping back open which left the door open all night and day. I complained to Home Depot and Sheridan said we could sell it on our own or complain or pay the 15% restock fee and get a new one. After HOURS of filling out forms, talking and being sent to the front to take care of this we THOUGHT everything was set. That is UNTIL we were suppose to get delivery of the new refrigerator. Nope. Sheridan just so happened to be off. "Well we called her on her day off and she said she told you to sell it or contact LG" Well how convenient. This 15% restock just fell off the table. Nope never said that. Oh BULL. The manager over that department just so happened to not be working either so "he'll call you tomorrow". I told my husband yeah yeah. It'll be a case of too bad so sad. And guess what?? The manager said too bad so sad. DONT DEAL WITH HOME DEPOT GO ACROSS THE STREET TO LOWES. THEY HAVE AN ACTUAL RETURN POLICY THAT YOU CAN RETURN SOMETHING IF YOU ARR UNSATISFIED!!
