We wanted something more dramatic than our white quartz. Jonathan met with us at various stone stores to point out what size slabs we needed and what slabs were of better quality. We selected our quartzite slabs and when they arrived at MAJ Countertops, he refused them. He called and said there were many fissures in the slabs and 8 out of 10 times they would break apart. They could be repaired, but with the leathered slabs we chose you would see the shiny repair material. Jonathan apologized multiple times. Are you kidding me? We were so thankful he was meticulous in looking out for us! So...we went shopping again. Back to Arista where they graciously moved slabs around for us to make our best choice. Jonathan taped off our chosen quartzite so we could visualize the final product. We were told no other fabricator meets with clients at showrooms, gets slabs moved around, and steers clients toward a finer finished product. And ta-da, here it is...

While I appreciate the resolution and communication at the end, the overall experience was mixed due to earlier challenges and some coordination issues between teams. Given the price point and time involved, I feel the experience was fair but not perfect. I do appreciate the effort made to address my concerns and bring the project to a close.

11/21/25 AG2 installation day!…read more Background We began consulting with C&S Home Solutions Remodeling September 2025 about our goals for updating our Kitchen, laundry and Bathrooms. The kitchen was a complete remodel eliminating an arched wall extending the kitchen to increase counter and cabinets linear feet. It also incorporated a breakfast bar. Two bathrooms were being remodeled. To accomplish our design continuity we visited Arista Stone to look for slaps for our design. Once we selected our slaps C&S Home Solutions remodeling enlisted the talents of small women owned business Brenda Rodriguez of AG2 Design LLC. Brenda personally visited our home and took all the measurements the day after our cabinetry was installed. She developed the template(s) for all countertops in the rooms. Her expertise quickly shifted to maximizing the use of the slabs minimizing waste and assuring we had enough slab from the same slab lot. Installation day came five days later after the rough bulk slabs were cut and polished. The craftsmanship of the beveled edges and smooth radius corners was amazing. Brenda's team began the installation by custom building the slab to countertop beds to support the heavy countertops. As each countertop was installed the Kitchen quickly transformed from design concept to a beautiful sculptured smooth line modern contemporary kitchen. Brenda also added a slab notch cut to tastefully incorporate a stub wall leading to our laundry room. Maybe a little detail to some but this extra touch of class showcases the talents and personal touches she delivers to her customers. Brenda arrived at the time of installation to personally see everything went smoothly and that we were satisfied. I can't say enough about Brenda and her company AG2 Design! Cost 5/5 There are many big fabricators out there, most chasing large commercial cookie cutter jobs but no one can match the turnaround time, customization and value of AG2 Design. I regret choosing this contractor for my kitchen countertop installation. While their prices were…read morevery affordable (a big factor in my decision), it turned out to be a costly mistake. Initially, they were efficient and communicative, and I was optimistic. However, the quartz they installed has been a nightmare. We selected a white quartz based on pictures they provided. Within weeks of installation, the so-called "quartz" started showing major quality issues. The main reasons we chose quartz--its supposed resistance to scratches, heat, and stains--were completely absent. Stains appeared almost immediately and won't come out, even with professional polishers and cleaning solutions. Scratches occurred from something as simple as a barstool rubbing against it. To make matters worse, there's a visible line in one section of the quartz where it looks like it could break. What makes this even more frustrating is that budget was never discussed as a limitation. I could understand if we'd told them we needed to stay within a certain price range, but that wasn't the case. They came, measured, gave us a price, and then simply asked what color granite we wanted and if we preferred veins. There was no disclosure about quality differences or the option to upgrade to a higher grade of quartz. I reached out to the contractor multiple times, after trying to find my own solution for working with and on the countertop, I reached by phone and text over a month in August, trying to address the issues. After no response, I finally sent a detailed email explaining the problems and requesting a copy of our contract. The contractor eventually replied, acknowledged the issues, and claimed quartz shouldn't wear like this. She said she'd contact the supplier--but I had to follow up several more times to get any updates. When she finally responded, she gave us our contract but stated her company wasn't liable for the poor-quality quartz. She directed us to the supplier, despite admitting she had already spoken to them and was told this was "general wear and tear." Frustrated, we hired a new contractor to evaluate the quartz. They confirmed it was quartz but stated it was a very low-quality grade. Replacing it would cost us $6,000-$10,000, or we'd have to live with the subpar countertops. At no point during the process were we given options for higher-quality granite or told that what was being installed was a budget-tier material. The contractor acted as though we had personally selected and purchased the granite ourselves, when in reality, we trusted her to provide a quality product. While the installation itself was passable (aside from a visible cut line), the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. The poor communication, lack of transparency, and unwillingness to stand by the product make this contractor one I cannot recommend. If I'd known we could hire them for just the installation and shop around for better quartz ourselves, I would have. This was an expensive lesson in why "affordable" isn't always worth it. Avoid this contractor if you want quality materials and honest communication.

Quality and thoroughness needs to be shown in a higher regard. There was the language barrier, but…read moreI feel like they didn't even ask me what kind of fabricating I needed. It was just the general, nonspecified, generic cuts at the length I had previously requested via text, but some things that they could've /should've asked me would've included finding out if the sink in the bathroom slab should be centered or remain where it was in the old slab. And if they would've had any trouble changing out sinks to have the new sink faucet working they should definitely inform the homeowner that there will be nothing hooked up underneath at all and that's how they left the kitchen and my bathroom! Worse off, in the guest bathroom, he even took it an extra step and noticed that there was a water leak, even though the water was shut off and instead of trying to get to the origin of the problem, he literally just didn't mention the leak until I NOTICED IT, after he was able to hightail it out of there and just left it all leaking underneath my sink and onto the floor. I didn't notice until there's a big puddle of water accumulating within 10 minutes. And now that I think about it, every time I walked past the guest bathroom he was using a towel to mop up the floor, but I didn't know why and now I know why! It was about 10 minutes after they left that was flooding out from underneath my sink, adding all sorts of water damage to my cabinets. So then I had to get someone in there to help me reconfigure underneath my kitchen sink that was a soft water system and make sure that was all correct and somebody else to help me out with the bathroom sinks and laying all new plumbing with new Ptraps and hoses for under each one of those with installation.... But wait, there's more..... My son had offered them his expensive tub and tile caulk if they wanted to use it and they said 'no no we we have a good good caulk' and so we kind of shrugged it off until after they left ... and they left their bucket here on accident filled with water with their caulk and caulking guns still tossed in the water. Every single one of the three caulks they had used for fitting in my 3 sinks was a cheap-o window and door trim caulk!!!!! And not only did they turn my son down to use his good supplies for free, but they in turn, went and used the diametrically wrong stuff for the wrong application!!! And I had to dig out all of the wrong caulk from each one of my three sinks, just to re-caulk each one of them MYSELF (with 100% waterproof bathroom-rated appropriate caulk). I have also enclosed pictures of what I had discovered when I was bending over and mopping up the flood that had become my guest bathroom after they left. I happened to gaze my head upwards while crouching down and noticed that I could see under an into my cabinets, even though the cabinet doors were closed. They just put giant slabs of porcelain that I had picked out on top of little witches that were about 2 inches wide that help the counter remain on top and float. But between these wedges, it's a space that I could quite easily slip my finger or even part of my hand through so I could essentially be outside of the cabinet get inside and under the cabinet at the same time without opening the cabinets. That seemed way off and ugly, so I'm gonna have to find little pieces of wood and wedge it out around so I can close that space out like if they had more of those wedges and put them closer together than they could literally just fill it full of caulk or mortar or something to create a seal. The craziest thing is that these people came highly rated by yelp and were even backed by yelps insurance program, which I am now get to rate and see if I will have to Yelp on Yelp. Because this was unacceptable! Plus, there's like 2 mini stains that there's no way I can get them out of my white, fabricated, quartz countertops! They look like cigarette burns on the side that I noticed when the guys left and I'm not sure what that's from. When they were all done and left, I noticed I now had huge amounts of whitish chalk dust all over my driveway and common sidewalk area. I know that cutting the slabs creates dust but I mean ask for a broom if you don't have one to sweep up the remainder before you leave maybe? Just the work that I had to have done after they left because of what they did or didn't do, and the re-caulking of the sinks after I had to literally dig out the other caulk was just horrible and time wasting and I wouldn't recommend them. They did have a good price and if they wouldn't have been yelp back, I wouldn't have picked them, but seeing as this has taken a long time to write up, I'm not sure if I will get reverse any money from Yelp for this.

Never do business with this company. They will abandon you and defraud you out of your money…read more I hired World of Elegance Inc. (WOE), owned by Jesse and Pete Garcia, for a remodeling project due to water damage in my home. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. Here's the timeline of events: October 8: Contacted WOE for a quote. October 18: Paid the deposit after reviewing several quotes. November 12: After my cabinet contractor completed his part, WOE came to do the final template for the project. I was told there was a 7-day turnaround. No Updates: I had to reach out to WOE several times for a status update. Each time, I was met with excuses. First, they claimed their compressor broke down, and then they couldn't provide a solid date. December 4: I texted WOE to confirm the time frame for installation the next day. December 5: No one showed up. When I contacted them, they blamed "truck issues" and said they would arrive in 45 minutes. They never came. At this point, I requested a refund, but things went from bad to worse: 1. The owner called, claiming an employee had to go to the ER and begged for another chance to come the next day. I reluctantly agreed. 2. December 6: Once again, no one came. 3. I demanded a refund. The owner issued a check, but it bounced. 4. She claimed the check was from the wrong account and promised to issue a new one or refund via Square. 5. When I contacted Square, they had no record of a refund being initiated. So I went to her shop to inquire about my deposit. She stated she'll wire the funds to my account. I wasn't leaving the shop unless we went to the bank together. She claimed she had to stay there she was closing early and be back to her shop by 12 to follow her to the bank. She text me at 11am that accountant said to call her ASAP regarding the bounced check. I called and the phone was off and because it was going straight to voicemail. I told her I was on my way back up to the shop so we could go to the bank. She responded ok and that she was at SRP because half of her shop power was off. WHO goes to SRP when their power is off? What can they do for there?? Nothing! They would either send a tech out or troubleshoot over phone. an implausible excuse. I've since filed a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) and will pursue reimbursement through the recovery fund. World of Elegance Inc. is dishonest, unreliable, and unprofessional. Avoid them at all costs.

I then referred very good friends of mine to them, and their story ended differently. They were defrauded out of their $13,000 deposit and left with nothing. My friends had to find another company to do the work and have been forced to seek legal remedies to recoup their money. Very dissapointed in this outcome. If you use this company, and I highly advise you don't, I would suggest work before payment, or you're not likely to see either again.
