Nice place. People are very nice and you can tell they have many regulars. I walked in on a Friday morning and they attended me on the spot. A bare minimum pedi, French tip, no gel or anything, with a foot scrub was $45. That seemed like a lot to me for a fairly normal pedi in an affordable suburban area. I probably wouldn't return off the sheer price alone. However, if that's not a big factor for you, id recommend it. The staff is nice. They have lots of people on staff to help. There's parking in the front and back of the establishment. They take cars and cash. read more

My friend recommended Elegant Nails & Spa to me for nails. My nail tech was Mary, she was very friendly and detail oriented in taking care of my nails. My cuticles never felt so clean and she was very gentle too. I showed her a picture of the designs that I wanted and she matched my nails perfectly to the photo . Went in for a gel manicure and gel pedicure on a Saturday afternoon - no appointment. They were wonderful and got me seated in a pedicure chair right away. Additionally, they started the manicure at the same time as the pedicure. Instead of making me cross my arms across each other, the nail specialist would walk to the other side of the pedicure chair. I'm not sure which lady worked on me but she was really kind and helpful with what color I should pick. It has been a week and so far, no sign of peeling or any chipping. She poked and scraped to the point of them bleeding. Then the lady doing my manicure was gentle, but she didn't know how to put on nail polish. It was really bad. Tiffany took care of me! I first came, based on Yelp reviews; this was the 3rd salon in Arcadia. Was trying to find a local salon, after retiring. She did my gel manicure 2 weeks ago, and today is my pedicure. (I prefer to make separate appointments, so I can really relax during the pedicure!) First off, I have been coming to Elegant Nails & Spa since my daughter was in Kindergarten - she is now a high school senior. So for over 12 years!! I initially went to the old location that was across the street and followed them when the moved to their new location! Yes, I am loyal like that. I have had waxing, facials, massage, pedicures, and manicures from many different employees of this salon. I can attest that the service is top-notch and that the manager and staff will fix any problem until is corrected to YOUR satisfaction!! I have issues (TMI) with ingrown nails and it is always addressed by the nail technician so I leave feeling much better! The facials are really heavenly and I sleep like a baby on those days which is why I call the days that I get facials, THE BEST DAY OF THE MONTH!! Came to get gel acrylics for my upcoming vacation and very disappointed with the result. I wasn't informed that coffin shaped nails would be $5 extra until after she glued the nails on so my only option was square. If I had known I would have just opted for a regular gel mani instead of acrylics. She was extremely rough with filing and buffing my nails. She made the nail so thick that it actually hurt my nail beds and didn't even look square but round. The nail polish turned out sloppy and streaky. Definitely will not be returning. This picture is about a week after I got them done since I had to go out of town right after. I went home and had to file and cut them into a shape I was somewhat happy with. read more

I came in for an acrylic fill and Kathy was so kind, she took extra time to file my nails and "repair" the damage from a set I previously had. My nails were thin, natural-looking, strong and the square-round shape was perfect ! I was REALLY happy with my fill and the pretty "cat-eye" polish. This is a review for my pedicure with Sue. I thought she did a really good and thorough job. The shop is clean and everyone seemed very professional. There's plenty of parking in the front and back lots of the salon, and the location is convenient when getting off the freeway. The pricing is interesting since it seems like each little step has a charge, but it's not too pricy and it could be a way to cut down on costs by excluding different services. For example, the base pedicure was $24 (this includes foot soak, nail clip, file, cuticle cut, polish, lotion massage, pumice scrub). The top coat on the polish was $1 extra. The sugar scrub was also extra but I didn't get it. read more

BRENDA did my pedicure and I was lucky to have a massage by her as well! Her massage was so soothing that I actually had to put my phone down to close my eyes! That never happens.... :) She also took delicate yet thorough care of some ingrown skin on the sides of my big toes. It's hard to find a tech that can actually get that done smoothly. Treated my mom to a mani-pedi. Elegant Nails has good parking, lots of space in the back. Easy to find. Atmosphere: 4/5 Overall good atmosphere. The chairs are clean, all the products they use are sanitary. They do line the foot spas with plastic. There was an annoying fly, that was flying around the whole time. But who doesn't get pesky flies. Staff: 5/5 The staff is great. There's plenty of staff members and there was no waiting. I called in an hour early to make an appointment and they said no problem. All the ladies are nice and sweet. They work fast. My mom and I had one person working on our foot and one person working on our hands. Nails Design: 3.5/5 If you come here for simple solid color I would rate this place a 5/5. But unfortunately I came here for a design. I picked what I thought was a simple flower design, but the design itself took waaayyy too long. The first try of the design looked like a 3 year old had painted it. And they asked me if it was ok. Of course it wasn't. I could tell that even they knew it didn't look good. I wish they would just have fixed it instead of asking if it was "ok". They were patient and tried it several times until I was satisfied, but by then 2 hours had already gone by. What I look for from my nail stylist is a little creativity and some common sense. I can see they were not experienced in nail designs. And then before my nail fully dried, they rubbed it with an oil and liquid causing the top layer to crinkle. When I told them about it they just said "that's how the top layer is when you have a design". Honestly, i'm not new to this. I wish they'd admit the mistake and just fix it. Overall: Great place to get a solid color. But getting nails done is not a race, it's an art form. When you mess up take the time to fix it and make it an amazing piece of art. read more
