This is under new ownership and it shows. I drove past needing some nail care and there was absolutely no customers. My pedicure was really poorly done - it seemed like it was her first time ever doing nails. The nails were cut unevenly, she didn't do any sort of cuticle care, barely even took all the previous paint off that I had, then painted sooooo poorly... it looked like I could've done better. My manicure was ok... but felt really upcharged for a gel builder ($60???!) The ladies were super sweet but I think they need some more skilled technicians in here. It also was really cold and chairs were not very comfortable. It got the job done but I won't be returning! read more

First time experience was wonderful. I'm actually very happy how my nails turned out. My nail technician Lina was amazing . She did exactly and I mean exactly what I wanted. I shouldn't have to say it but they didn't have glue or whatever stuck on the sides of my mail and she didn't nick me. She's a very gentle didn't rush through it. I also brought my toddler which they were able to accommodate as well. Even though she was such a worm wiggling everywhere they still we're very patient with her. My pedicure technician was also very gentle too. I was actually very scared she was get me when she was doing the callus removal but it went great actually. She even got a small piece of nail that was bothering me on my toe that made it painful for me to walk on some angles. Without pain she removed it. Overall experience was amING . Would definitely come again !! Also since I am also prego the smell of the typical nail salon was not strong at all. It was actually very pleasant to be in there . read more

The perfect nail salon hidden in Sierra Madre. My fiancé and I came for a birthday manicure/pedicure. He got the deluxe manicure and deluxe pedicure by Valerie and I received a deluxe pedicure and manicure from Lina. The salon was clean and welcoming with a friendly staff. Came in here for the second time first time was success second time not sure what happened but she left my eyebrows bald ! Not sure if she was bc she got distracted with her phone call all I heard was "omg sorry" I was so confused what she meant 1 min later she show me her mistake no need to point it out I told her it was obvious I held myself back she was trying to pencil draw my eyebrows to make it look even told her I never use pencil for my eyebrows I was disappointed and told her nicely I dislike my eyebrows now won't be coming in here again I'm sad how she left me need to find myself somewhere else read more

Super happy with my manicure at Posh Nails. Lena and Valerie were very nice and welcoming and the salon is spacious and clean. It's tucked away behind a laundromat so it might be hard to spot on the street but there's a parking lot and plenty of street parking. Their prices are reasonable and they are currently running a 20% off all services promotion for the month of July so come and give them a try!!! read more

Super star customer service! Literally posted a question and got answer within 10 minutes and booked an appointment. I got dip powder nails for the first time and both the technicians are super gentle. My nails have been super brittle and one nail was basically so thin, it was basically my skin. When it was time to buff my nail beds, Penny (the woman that prepped my nails), went SUPER SLOW to make sure not to cut me or rush. My second nail tech (I forgot to get her name) did the actual dip powder process. She took her time to make sure all the layers were even. Pleasantly surprised at how clean and charming the shop is! Tucked away in the corner but easy to find. Parking lot was empty when I arrived (11am Friday) but was almost at capacity when I left an hour later. Penny (the owner) did my pedicure and she was terrific, friendly and professional. I opted for the Deluxe spa pedicure, leg massage and feet treatment were wonderful and super relaxing. My feet look amazing! I came in for the first time today, Friday. I had called earlier in the week for an appointment. I got the deluxe gel mani and pedi. The brown spa chairs look brand new. There is a wide array of color choices which I like. Upon arrival, I signed in on a notebook with name and phone #. Hannah did my mani and I forget the other gals name sorry. The leg and foot massage was awesome and memorable. I would come back again. I was the only one in the shop with both employees. They weren't very talkative but that's ok. Staff was so friendly. I went in to get a gel pedicure while I was doing laundry right next door and I was taken care of! It was so relaxing & I was in love with my nails! Han did my GelX high frenchies and it turned out amazing! She was very precise and took her time prepping the nails before adding the extensions on. Most salons I've been to don't put much work into prepping the cuticles like Han does. My experience with POSH NAILS, On Saturday, August 5, 2023 I decided to use a gift card I was given for Christmas. I called this nail salon to make a reservation, went to the facility that was located 370 west Sierra Madre Blvd. and walked in to have a manicure and pedicure. I walked in and presented my $43 gift card. When I called I was told the Manicure and Pedicure price had increased $5. which did not bother me, but when I was told the business had a new owner, and they would not honor the gift card. The gift card had no expiration date on it, nor was the name or phone number changed. The new owner explained they did not receive any money from the previous owner for my gift card, so they would not honor it. I became upset because this was essentially throwing $43 away. I tried to reason with the young lady, suggesting she should at least give me half of the value of the gift card. She refused. I then told her I would tell my friends to not patronize her nail salon. It did not matter. She did let me use her phone to call my family to pick me up, but then I left to find another nail salon which I did. I was very angry, because not only had I been inconvenienced, but I could not reason with her. I am a reasonable person, and this is the first negative comment I have ever written. An hour later she called and told me she would give me 50% of the gift card's value, but by then it was too late. I had found another nail salon. Ironically, this was my initial solution to this situation that I had suggested to her previously, but she had previously refused it before I left the salon. AVOID THIS NAIL SALON BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR OWN GIFT CARDS. Sierra Madre has at least 6 other nail salons that I am sure will be more accommodating than POSH NAILS. read more

I went in this past Friday, walked in at 6:40 pm, told the 2 girls at the counter that I wanted a pedicure and gel ex removal. The hostess said ok, so I proceeded to pick out a color. I sat and waited about 10 min, no one was saying anything, not even the guy who normally does my gelx, or the older lady who's usually in charge. Everyone was giving me side eye looks and rushing out the back door. I got the feeling of "she'll figure it out we're closing." It was a bit humiliating. Amy came and said she'd do my pedicure once she got free. I appreciated her so much for taking me on. When I asked her if anyone would be able to do my nails, she wasn't sure. I disclosed that I was having a surgical procedure the next morning and would appreciate if someone could take them off (per drs request). She took immediate action and went to the 2 young girls at the front desk. When she told them that it was an urgent request bc of my procedure, one of the girls replied with, "Well she should have came sooner." That was kinda hurtful bc little did she know that my procedure was emergency stat. And regardless of my procedure, if they weren't going to have time for me, they should have told me when I checked in, instead of having me wait, and I could have gone down the street to one of the other nail salons. Amy turned to another nail tech who was helping another client. Asked if she could accommodate, and yes she asked Vilan if he would be able to take them off and he did. I appreciated him for it. After my services were done, I left within the hour and would have taken 35 min overall had I been seen right away. I've been a loyal customer to Nailtique since they opened but that girls comment and their lack of communication upon check in was disappointing.

She is thorough and puts in the effort from start to finish. I started seeing her when the mask mandated ended, as I was worried that my skin was showing signs of neglect (from a few years with now facialist) and aging. I go every 1-1.5 mo. now, and I see a difference in the texture, and the facial massages help with lifting. I almost always book the Elevated Resurfacing Facial. I receive compliments all of the time about how nice my skin is, how much younger I look than my age. I love intense massages and facial massages, so if you prefer a very light touch, tell Megan in advance; she will accommodate. She is very mellow, and I can be myself in her presence. I have been hankering for a pedicure for a while, and not just any pedicure. I wanted something…read moremore therapeutic. My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

Christa's salon is so cute and welcoming, I knew I was in good hands. She was so gentle with trimming my cuticles I didn't cry at all (normally I bleed while big crocodile tears roll down my cheeks). And she has an amazing selection of colors and product--Christa is a next level tech. Some of the products Christa used I have never even seen at other places. I could tell she cared about the quality of product she puts on her client's hands. I had reviewed her prices beforehand, and she told me her mantra was "nail art for all." I ended up going with black gel and a little negative space, and it looked amazing. I had random people on the street ask me today where I got my nails done. I am so happy with my nails!
