This is under new ownership and it shows. I drove past needing some nail care and there was absolutely no customers. My pedicure was really poorly done - it seemed like it was her first time ever doing nails. The nails were cut unevenly, she didn't do any sort of cuticle care, barely even took all the previous paint off that I had, then painted sooooo poorly... it looked like I could've done better. My manicure was ok... but felt really upcharged for a gel builder ($60???!) The ladies were super sweet but I think they need some more skilled technicians in here. It also was really cold and chairs were not very comfortable. It got the job done but I won't be returning! read more

First time experience was wonderful. I'm actually very happy how my nails turned out. My nail technician Lina was amazing . She did exactly and I mean exactly what I wanted. I shouldn't have to say it but they didn't have glue or whatever stuck on the sides of my mail and she didn't nick me. She's a very gentle didn't rush through it. I also brought my toddler which they were able to accommodate as well. Even though she was such a worm wiggling everywhere they still we're very patient with her. My pedicure technician was also very gentle too. I was actually very scared she was get me when she was doing the callus removal but it went great actually. She even got a small piece of nail that was bothering me on my toe that made it painful for me to walk on some angles. Without pain she removed it. Overall experience was amING . Would definitely come again !! Also since I am also prego the smell of the typical nail salon was not strong at all. It was actually very pleasant to be in there . read more

The perfect nail salon hidden in Sierra Madre. My fiancé and I came for a birthday manicure/pedicure. He got the deluxe manicure and deluxe pedicure by Valerie and I received a deluxe pedicure and manicure from Lina. The salon was clean and welcoming with a friendly staff. Came in here for the second time first time was success second time not sure what happened but she left my eyebrows bald ! Not sure if she was bc she got distracted with her phone call all I heard was "omg sorry" I was so confused what she meant 1 min later she show me her mistake no need to point it out I told her it was obvious I held myself back she was trying to pencil draw my eyebrows to make it look even told her I never use pencil for my eyebrows I was disappointed and told her nicely I dislike my eyebrows now won't be coming in here again I'm sad how she left me need to find myself somewhere else read more

Super happy with my manicure at Posh Nails. Lena and Valerie were very nice and welcoming and the salon is spacious and clean. It's tucked away behind a laundromat so it might be hard to spot on the street but there's a parking lot and plenty of street parking. Their prices are reasonable and they are currently running a 20% off all services promotion for the month of July so come and give them a try!!! read more

Super star customer service! Literally posted a question and got answer within 10 minutes and booked an appointment. I got dip powder nails for the first time and both the technicians are super gentle. My nails have been super brittle and one nail was basically so thin, it was basically my skin. When it was time to buff my nail beds, Penny (the woman that prepped my nails), went SUPER SLOW to make sure not to cut me or rush. Pleasantly surprised at how clean and charming the shop is! Tucked away in the corner but easy to find. Parking lot was empty when I arrived (11am Friday) but was almost at capacity when I left an hour later. Penny (the owner) did my pedicure and she was terrific, friendly and professional. I opted for the Deluxe spa pedicure, leg massage and feet treatment were wonderful and super relaxing. My feet look amazing! I came in for the first time today, Friday. I had called earlier in the week for an appointment. I got the deluxe gel mani and pedi. The brown spa chairs look brand new. There is a wide array of color choices which I like. Upon arrival, I signed in on a notebook with name and phone #. Hannah did my mani and I forget the other gals name sorry. The leg and foot massage was awesome and memorable. I would come back again. I was the only one in the shop with both employees. They weren't very talkative but that's ok. Han did my GelX high frenchies and it turned out amazing! She was very precise and took her time prepping the nails before adding the extensions on. Most salons I've been to don't put much work into prepping the cuticles like Han does. My experience with POSH NAILS, On Saturday, August 5, 2023 I decided to use a gift card I was given for Christmas. I called this nail salon to make a reservation, went to the facility that was located 370 west Sierra Madre Blvd. and walked in to have a manicure and pedicure. I walked in and presented my $43 gift card. When I called I was told the Manicure and Pedicure price had increased $5. which did not bother me, but when I was told the business had a new owner, and they would not honor the gift card. The gift card had no expiration date on it, nor was the name or phone number changed. The new owner explained they did not receive any money from the previous owner for my gift card, so they would not honor it. I became upset because this was essentially throwing $43 away. I tried to reason with the young lady, suggesting she should at least give me half of the value of the gift card. She refused. I then told her I would tell my friends to not patronize her nail salon. It did not matter. She did let me use her phone to call my family to pick me up, but then I left to find another nail salon which I did. I was very angry, because not only had I been inconvenienced, but I could not reason with her. I am a reasonable person, and this is the first negative comment I have ever written. An hour later she called and told me she would give me 50% of the gift card's value, but by then it was too late. I had found another nail salon. Ironically, this was my initial solution to this situation that I had suggested to her previously, but she had previously refused it before I left the salon. AVOID THIS NAIL SALON BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR OWN GIFT CARDS. Sierra Madre has at least 6 other nail salons that I am sure will be more accommodating than POSH NAILS. read more

I receive compliments all of the time about how nice my skin is, how much younger I look than my age. I love intense massages and facial massages, so if you prefer a very light touch, tell Megan in advance; she will accommodate. She is very mellow, and I can be myself in her presence.
