I tend to buy online, but every once in a while, I go into local B&M's to support small businesses and maybe try something new. The truth is this place is your standard smoke / vape / gear shop that happens to have a walk in humidor. I I've been here 4 or 5 times and to their credit it does appear the humidor is restocked regularly, even with some newer stuff that enthusiasts would care about. However, there's two issues; one is the prices. Cigars will always be more expensive at a local shop, obviously due to overhead but also because they're usually cigar lounges; they offer you places to sit and watch the game, chat, or just spend some time relaxing in a comfortable place. Some even offer drinks and you get none of that here. You just get a local college kid serving as a clerk; it's a "buy-and-leave" type of set up so cigars really shouldn't be two or even three times a typical price. The second problem is the walk-in humidor itself. One of the cigars I bought last time was a La Flor Dominicana Colorado Oscuro that I smoked that day and five minutes in the wrapper was cracking almost immediately due to under-humidification. Now I know the humidor is humidified (I checked); but if the wrapper cracks as you're smoking it, it's usually because you're under 62% RH. Some shops will even store their cigars in humidified back rooms to stabilize after shipments arrive in order to avoid any under-humidification in the walk-in, but that isn't happening here. In short, it would be nice if Camarillo had a real cigar lounge where the prices were justified and the humidification was on point, but this just isn't it.

He said yeah, tax is 0.73 and there is crv and a card fee of 3.5%. So I paid and then did the math on my way out, looks like it should be $10.40. So there was never a discount applied for the sale. Watch what you get charged here, seems shady, will not be going back.

The place has a decent sized walk in cigar incubator for their endless cigar collection to choose from. If you prefer to smoke tobacco or even maybe some illegal substance, they have an assortment of pipes. My buddy comes here for his needs, and loves this place. I accompanied him and witnessed the professionalism first hand. The staff is super friendly and cares for your needs and specific addictions. They are very knowledgeable of their products. The store is small, but still sufficient size to offer an array of products. Parking in the plaza is ample.
