never answer phones, they call to schedule appointments and you better have your schedule open for them otherwise there are no options. Took all teeth out to eventually get dentures, the whole process took very long, after taking out teeth had some discomfort and brushed it off, brought it up again because it never went away like they said it would and it turned out they did leave something there. Went in for multiple fittings after it took forever to get the dentures, when they were finally done they said to just wear them and get use to them. Went back for a follow up and they said that needed implants. They are just some unprofessional scam artists. Be AWARE.!! read more

The Good : Dr. Bautista, XRay tech, and front office staff were nice. That's about it. The Bad: the office was filthy - the carpet was stained and unravelling in several places, dental chair had holes in them, dental chair and instruments were covered in plastic but it kept coming off and sticking to my arm, the XRAY machine had the previous patients plastic mouth piece still on it when I was asked to take xrays, I was given a broken pair of old sunglasses to wear during my exam. The bathroom was dirty. The tech dropped a piece of the equipment on the floor, picked it up, ad then put her hand back in my mouth. The WORST: Elauna The hygienist was the worst healthcare "professional" I have ever met. She was rude, had broken English, and didn't explain anything that she did. She jumped all around my mouth rather than cleaning each tooth one by one. She was very rough and seems like she didn't know what she was doing. She left the suction straw hanging on the inside of my mouth and now I have a huge ulcer. She got dental floss all tangled in my retainer and just kept jerking on it. She finally figured it out and said "oh". She sprayed fluoride all over the place and didn't suction it out so I had to swallow it. She put something white on her hand and then used a Qtip to smear all over my teeth. She said it was fluoride but she got it all over my face and lips. It feels like wax and I can't get it off now. When I asked the girl at the front desk about the hygienist about her she said "We get a lot of temps". I asked if there was a corporate office for Element Dental and the other girl said, " We have 7 dental offices around here". I don't know how to file a complaint .... just don't go there... or take your kids there. I hope the sweet ladies there can find better jobs before the health department shuts them down! read more

I try to separate service vs management. But they go hand in hand to the overall experience. If you like waiting an hour minimum, sometimes 2 for a simple cleaning. If you like hearing excuses that they didn't know your appointment was confirmed because the office relies on a text message system that they know doesn't work on their end. They no longer perform courtesy reminder appointment calls, nor send out emails, so you show up only to be told they don't have you on the schedule, but they'll try to work with you if you're willing to wait. That even when you show them the text message reminders and confirmations, their office manager gives you a, "oh we know, but it's neither here nor there". Way to show your lack of accountability there. If you are ok with having to wait extra time, even though you showed up to your appointment early, and someone else showed up late, they still leave them in the original order. If you're ok with understaffing and constant over booking. I've tried different hours, requesting the first appointment of the day, the last appointment, an appointment right after lunch, to ensure there's less time spent waiting. Still the same outcome. If you are ok with getting rescheduled when you get to the dental office, because the dentist is on vacation, and you never received a courtesy phone call letting you know of this. THIS is the place for you. I started going here around 4 years ago. Brought my daughter as well to try to make it convenient to have our appointments be set back to back. Instead of having to take time off work for 2 separate appointments on different days. During quarantine time, one of many ironies of these times. With her being underage, she can't technically be receiving dental work without me being present, 2-3ft away from where she sits, face mask required for everyone. But us switching seats, for me to receive dental work, from the same dentist, same hygienists, while she sat in a chair 2-3ft away, with a mask on, was not ok, and the appointment would not be made. Dentists, please realize that the few minutes you see your patients, are very small compared to the time we spend waiting due to your office being overbooked and badly managed. Even your hygienists and dental assistants show discomfort each time they're being pulled in different direction and can't focus on their task at hand. After these 4+ years of the same type of experiences, I won't be back. read more

It's always something at this dentist office. Honestly there is one lady at the front desk that is super nice and cares and she is the only reason that I have given these people as much business as I have. Issues Wait time is ridiculous! I left today after 40 minutes of waiting Communication is terrible. There is not a flow of communication in this office. You guess half of the time where you are going and what you are doing Equipment is old and furniture has cracks and holes in it. X-ray tech put the protective cover on the thing that goes in my mouth, then typed on the computer and touched other things, then picked up that piece by the part that goes in my mouth with his dirty gloves. When the machine didn't work, I was asked to go to a different room. Very frustrating. This kind of stuff happens every time I have been there over the last two years. The dentist floats in. She is nice. Talks for a minute or two then runs out again. You are left sitting in the chair for large amounts of time. An appointment that should last 30 minutes ends up taking 3 hours of your time. It feels like this office is trying to make money. They hire cheap and charge too much. Front secretary is emotionless and knows what's on her screen and that is all. She should receive some training.... Especially in customer service. The one nice lady that works there should find a better place to work. I think that if she leaves that entire place would go out of business. read more

To the ENTIRE staff of Element dental. Ok, thank GOD that Dr. Tiffany Gillum, you all have to go to her. The entire staff was great, esp Annette and Emily. Tiff kept asking if I was ok and it did not take her long. Now she did warn me that after a few hours the local would wear off, she told me to make sure I take my hydrocodone before it completely wore off, b/c it would be tough on me and boy did it make a difference. The entire procedure took about an hour, but she gave me a local and a block and I did not feel a thing put a little pressure. Tiff, I have known you all of your life, families are great friends, well family, you are a GOD send and I mean it, I truly do. You saw how nervous I was but that was nothing for you to deal with, you kept smiling and asking me if I was ok. Remember at that point I told you that I trusted you. Do not go there. Front office manager is rude. They never see you at your scheduled time because they triple book. first time I waited almost an hour just to get into room. Second time after waiting, getting into room, having teeth brushed for my 3 year old we still had to wait for dentist to do exam. We were approaching 2 hours!!! I walked out because I had another appointment to get to. I was not given an apology for the wait and every time I asked for reason for delay the manager was rude!!! I am looking for a go to dentist that I like and can build a long term relationship with. When I booked my appointment here this year I felt hopeful about finding that perfect dentist. The staff were okay, not as friendly and enthusiastic as my last dental office at Serenity or SpringLove. But I liked the dentist Dr. Bautista. She seemed very knowledgeable, quick-witted, and caring. However, my complaint is that I called them the very day of my appointment to follow up with some stuff but no one answered. I left a voicemail and as of today it has been a week. No one has returned my call and it was a pretty important voicemail. So I'm disappointed and will not likely return for services. Horrible customer service I had 3 appointments for today Saturday for my children one was an emergency as she broke a tooth been trying to get in for over a week. This office has had my kids insurance for over a month and 1 hour before there appointmen on a Saturday I am told the child that has the emergency can't be seen because they are unable to verify the insurance wouldn't you think this would have been done prior just in case there was an issue. Horrible service as we will be finding a new dentist that will know how to do there job. read more

What makes this place stand out is Dr. Bautista. She is professional, thourough, and helpful. She was able to address all my questions and solve my issues in the same visit. I didn't feel rushed. Horrible place! On my one and only visit, the dentist (Dr. Stephanie Lu) examined me for less than five minutes, and told me I had TWELVE cavities that needed filling ASAP. They wanted just short of $800 up front (my portion after insurance). I told them I had not had a cavity since I was seven, and I needed to think about it. I've seen two other dentists since then, and was told by both that I have no cavities at all. The staff was courteous and the facility clean; however, it seems to be a VERY dangerous (not to mention dishonest) practice if they're performing unnecessary procedures and milking people for money they don't have.
