I received a massage from Tino. Tino did a wonderful job with my neck and back (specific areas where I asked to be massaged). He knew the right amount of pressure to use and checked in every now and then to confirm that it was the right amount of pressure. The therapist was great! It's the environment that disappointed me. In the room, the only light is a wall sconce. It needs to be bright enough so that the therapist can work. However, when I was laying on my back, the light shone directly in my eyes. Not a relaxing experience. Also, the table was not heated. Even in the summer, a heated table is more relaxing and comforting. After having my back massaged, I would have appreciated a warm pad placed on it while other parts of my body were being massaged. read more

Went here for the first time today. How wonderful!!! From the moment I walked in I was relaxed. Before my appointment I got to relax in the serenity room with cucumber water & some chocolates. Then Maureen massaged all of the kinks out of my back. She was strong and intense. If you prefer a more relaxing, less get-out-those-kinks kinda massage, go to someone else. I loved her! If I didn't have spa finder gift certificates to use, I would have totally joined their loyalty program. It's a great deal and would force me to take care of myself for a change. Don't know about other masseur(s) but Chris did a phenomenal job! He started out by saying that "everything is adjustable" which was great because it typically does take a while to get comfortable (some people never do). The massage table can be adjusted, the heating blanket temperature, the lights, the music, etc. Chris maintained the desired pressure all throughout the massage (unlike most therapists who forget after 10 minutes) and he also remembered the painful areas where he released the pressure. Every 10 minutes or so, he kept asking whether his pressure was fine and whether anything else could be done to make me more comfortable! I've been going to the people @ XSport spa for my massages, but this was better than any of them (including the Senior therapist). In all of my years of doing a massage, there has only been one place (in IN) that was perfect. Now I have a second place that I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an ideal experience (Chris as your therapist)! read more
