this spa is wonderful. I really found myself happily satisfied when I walked into massage room to get a relaxing massage and found room pleasantly decorated in soothing tones of color. the massage room was quite spacious and the massage table was real comfortable. only complaint was the electric massage table was moved upwards by therapist during my massage session by the massage therapist which was a little annoying midsession. but quickly I relaxed back into the session without any issues. my therapist Steven was real nice. he quickly assessed my aches and then immediately soothed out every knot in my body. I was so grateful to Stephen skill and expertise as a very well trained massage professional. everyone should give themselves the perfect gift and treat themselves this entire year at Elements Spa. I highly recommend Elements Day Spa as a wonderful new day spa everyone should rush right over to test out for themselves! Walter was a wonderful Massage Therapist. Among the very best in fact and I am a massage practitioner myself! They had a great introductory rate and wellness plan. The ambiance was healing and restful. The establishment was beautiful and very clean, relaxing yet professional and you feel very cared for the moment you walk in. They got me in the same day and Walter really addressed the problem areas. He checked when he changed pressure to work something out and made me feel incredibly comfortable. His technique was great. Pros: can get in most times if you call day of. They are very accommodating. Some very good therapists. Easy parking. Nice waiting area. Did a cost comparison across 5 local massage studios and cost per minute most affordable here. Cons: overall studio and massage rooms are old fashioned looking and has a dark clinical feel. Me & my boyfriend came to get a couples massage. I called & I gave them my name to reserve a spot & scheduled to come in. We didn't really dress up & when we walked in, immediately it was an unwelcoming & uncomfortable stare from the lady at the desk, even some of the clients who were there that were scheduled to get a massage! I gave the lady my name & she told me that she didn't have an opening for a couples massage & they was only one opening. I kept telling the lady I scheduled with my name & time & she denied that my name was even on the schedule. I really loved my massage here! Catherine was a very skilled CMT, who truly was one with her work. It was as if she was meditating when she was working the knots out of my back. She encouraged proper relaxation breathing and used proper draping techniques. I highly recommend her! The Elements reception team was knowledgeable, nice and efficient! My only qualms are that Elements does not use aromatic oils, and that I felt the room temperatures of their massage rooms was a little cooler than i was used to. The massage beds are heated, so that helps, but when your skin is exposed with oil on it, you get a chill, which I dont usually feel at other places. I actually can't wait for my contracted "wellness" program with Massage Envy to end so I can start up with Elements' no contract wellness program. read more

This has to be the best Elements Massage location I've been to. I have visited the Campbell and Palo Alto locations. However, this one has been, by far, the most amazing experience. Katie was not only one point with her deep tissue, she was very friendly and super funny. We had a few laughs. Judging by the tone in her voice and her body language, she seems like a very genuine person. I wasn't planning on becoming a member today, but my mind was quickly changed after such an epic experience. I highly recommend this place. read more

Kim is a talented practitioner, though her massages are non-traditional and she really digs in and does focused work if you have areas causing you pain. She does a lot with trigger points and energy work rather than your standard Swedish, Deep Tissue, etc. It is very rare to find a practitioner of her talent at one of the massage membership places (no insult intended to the Elements and Massage Envys of the world) and I'm glad my husband discovered her. The pricing is very reasonable and I'll definitely return to this place. read more

My husband and I went for a 2 hour massage tonite. I have been to Elements in San Ramon two other times and my husband has been once before. I highly recommend Walter. I am a massage therapist since 1995 & have very high standards!Walter meets all of my standards +. He gives an excellent deep tissue massage, paying attention to every detail. Kimberly is outstanding! she is a highly skilled and intuitive therapist! she understand while the whole body interacts and makes necessary adjustments. I have TMJ and the most recent appointment it was not my usual issue. she really worked it but it didn't change . She then asked me some questions and I mentioned going to the gym before the appointment. She then knew the issue was really my traps and she worked that and they immediately my jaw released! Update to my previous review. I still like the concept of this place but the sad truth is all the good therapists leave very quickly because Elements doesn't pay them what they should. Firm pressure, focused the right points, great stretching techniques that I've never done before either. Today I went in for my first time at elements massage. I booked an 1 hour full body Swedish massage with Nicole and it was amazing! She used perfect pressure through out the massage once she found out what type I was looking for. After my first visit, the receptionist did ask about my experience, and I told her of my dissatisfaction She politely asked (appreciate her for asking) if she could relay the information to her manager I received a phone message within a couple of days The manager called to apologize for my negative experience and encouraging me to return. I was given a complementary essence addition to my massage Although I cancel my membership, I still had a credit towards another 90 minute massage Doni thought I'd give it another try I'm happy to say that my massage was a completely different experience. Sophie was beyond my expectations...she took the time to discuss my needs and evaluate my treatment She recommended spending the majority of my time focusing on my upper torso .,,felt like she really personalized my needs. After the curiously foul experience with Anne the owner of Elements San Ramon called me and spent a good deal of time talking with me about this situation. The owner was in an airport waiting for a plane but took the time to call me, so clearly he cares about customer interaction and was obviously alarmed by this event. In the end... - I can use the massages I've already paid for. - The 30 day paper they want you to sign when cancelling your account is no longer an issue. - The owner said he will follow up with me in a few weeks to see if I still want to cancel and invited me to use my sessions. - The employee in question got called on their shenanigans. - I'm a little timid about going back to this location as I know that employees talk... a LOT. I'm very concerned about the service I will receive. - I am willing to give it a try to see how things go and I was impressed at the level of concern and initiative taken to address the problem. Moral of the story: If a business owner takes time to call you while they're travelling to fix a situation like this then they deserve another chance. They did the right thing and let's face it - there aren't a whole lot of business owners out there who really give a dang. He did what he could to fix this and showed concern for my patronage in the future. You can't ask for more. 4 Stars for rock star management! read more

I love this salon and the staff, very professional and the calming atmosphere. Delores is my therapist and I have gone to her for almost 3 years. She is always friendly and always asks me how I am feeling and if there are any special areas of my body that need extra attention each visit. New to the area and had been to a couple of nearby places but had not yet found a place that I liked. I went here on a friends recommendation and it was every bit as good as advertised. The receptionist was sweet and helpful, the facilities were relaxing, and professional. My therapist got to know me and was interested in the type of massage I wanted and my goals for the treatment were exceeded. Receptionist (Ann) told me it is an hour massage. I got only a 50 minute massage. I feel gypped when that happens. The receipt also says one hour . Blatant dishonesty. They try to politely tell you it is for ten minute consultation and all that nonsense. I don't care for the stupid ten minute consultation. How hard is it for the receptionist to say "50 minute" instead of "1 hour ". I am not thrilled being lied to. When I do my price comparison so diligently it matters to me. Also massuse kept talking a lot . Nervous laughter , sometimes talking to herself even though I clearly said upfront I am looking to RELAX . Even falling asleep if possible. Hands pretty rough for a masseuse . My mom had massage same morning and we gave some feedback without being too rude , and requested that I be assigned a different masseuse but front desk lady just gave a blank stare and I ended up with same person . Do not want to name the masseuse coz she was really trying from her side . Rough hands and constant talking is something for the company to address. She did her part sincerely. But end of it, we both didn't feel good about our massages. Will not be going back here. read more

I give this place a one star, wish I could give lower. The message therapists are amazing, Chris in particular healed all of my back pains and was extremely friendly and attentive to make sure the pressure and everything was satisfactory throughout the visit. The manager April, however, is beyond rude, argumentative, disrespectful, and confrontational. I was charged too many times for a membership that was cancelled and was told by an employee who had previously signed me up, that I would have my membership cancelled after that month due to moving and paying for my own college tuition, which $109 a month is not in a college students budget. April, however refused to listen to me after she called me on the phone, was extremely rude and argumentative, disrespectful, and so much more. She kept interrupting me to tell me the same sales pitch over and over. HORRIBLE customer service from her. Everyone else that I have spoken with at this place has been nothing but kind and friendly, which sucks because I absolutely loved this place because of the people and the vibe but April completely ruined it and I will not be returning. I ended up having to call my credit card company because she would not stop charging me after cancellation. Words can seriously not describe how rude she was and her lack of customer support and understanding as well as listening to her freaking customers... we're paying YOU, not the other way around! read more
