I've belonged to a stylist (ITS JUSTUS) at Level Ten for like...ever. It's a great spot. Cute? Check Clean? Check I see gorgeous colors and awesome cuts come out of this place all the time. They sell some great products, but they don't push the hard sell on you. It's a great atmosphere with some truly talented artists. If you don't trust your hair to "just anyone" you'll love it here. My daughter wanted a new, shorter haircut. She was nervous. So, when she said "I'm ready!", we jumped! Luckily Iolona was able to get us in quickly, and late enough in the day we weren't groggy. Walking in we fell in love with the lighting, the look and the PLANTS! It's like a gentle oasis in the middle of Henderson. We barely sat down and she was ready. Everything was pretty. It had a low key vibe, but quirky. The plants.... sigh. Iolona chatted, told us she and her roommate decorated their room. It fit with the rest but was personal. I was sO jealous watching the head massage shampoo. I have to go just for that. She made sure they were on the same page haircut wise and in some steady snips she dried, curled and showed us. So my grey hairs were showing up as they do and I needed to get the roots done. My normal go to spot was not available so I decided to try something new! As a regular shopper at Trader Joe's I had see the remodeling of the store front and interior at Level Ten Salon. It looked modern, professional and of course it was convenient for me. I called up and made an appointment over the phone with Hallee Yancey who I had never met. Turned out I had landed someone special and a real Gem! Hallee listened as I told her what I wanted and went straight to work. FYI I came in for root touch up which cost $70 and the whole head was $100.... so I opted for color for the whole head. We talked back and forth about where we lived and traveled and her daughter and family. After the color was set Hallee set off to blow dry my hair and give it a real beach look with some curl! Manager at front Desk is Disaster with nasty attitude. They had a menu for kid hair cut on paper , but she kept saying they don't do kids, everyone is individual stylist. I got confused n asked the Manager she said "I'm the Manager " n told me to leave . Stopped by first time n this is how i treated for asking about clarification on kid hair cut . If you have curly hair do not come here. One of the stylist had curly hair on her portfolio and so I felt like she knew what she was doing.. I made it very clear I wanted to keep the length. My hair was about waist length.. and she cut the shortest layer shorter than ear length... and she has the audacity to say "holy shrinkage" when she finally saw the damage. She tried playing it off like it was a new era of shorter hair for me. I will never make this mistake again.. I still feel so sad about my hair. I'm really upset especially when I filled out her hair form to "get to know the clients hair" and she still failed me. I will never be coming back or Recommending this place again. read more

This place was amazing! I went in to get a mullet and beard trim because I've wanted to rock the mullet for a long time. I went with Mandy because seeing her social media posts, she looked like she could take care of me and I picked a winner! She was extremely detailed oriented, listened to what I wanted and how I wanted it, she was punctual and very professional. She was able to give me a proper mullet and beard trim. She even washed my hair and gave me a scalp message. It was absolute heaven! As for the salon it self, it was awesome. Decent music playing, the front desk gal was awesome and friendly. What can I say about my hairstylist, Shelly! She's amazing! When I first walked in for my appointment, I was very anxious. I haven't had any touch my hair in a little under 10 years, so I was nervous that she wouldn't understand what I was expecting. Her personality was very bubbly, she listened to my hair goals and understood what I was expecting from the cut and color. She was so easy to talk to during the whole process, it was very pleasant. Let me start by saying I am very picky with my hair. I've only let two people touch it and that would be myself and Brianna Han. She is also a red head which makes it a plus and she always keeps my hair long and healthy. She pays so much attention to the detail in each and every cut and it shows every time i have to style it. If you are looking for a stylist, you want her. She's so passionate about this industry and keeping your hair healthy and happy. My original hairstylist that I had for several years on end just moved to this location, which has been open for about a month now. On Sundays and Mondays, they are closed and walk ins are by appointment only. Tuesday's-Saturday's are normal. When I got there I realized that the doors are locked. I had to call my hairstylist and tell her what was going on - I was very confused as to why they were locked. She told me that they were taking appointment-only clients since it was Monday and that the doors were locked because they didn't want any random people stealing stuff. This place is cute and cozy. The front lobby has complimentary coffee and water and all kinds of other snacks. It is in the At Home shopping complex next to Trader Joe's. It's a longer drive to here than my old salon but it's worth it. read more
