The restaurant is bright, clean, and modern. We started with the Smooth Criminal cocktail and the Pineapple Sangria. Both great. Well balanced, unique ingredients, everything you want in a unique cocktail. We did order the whipped feta appetizer, but unfortunately they were very busy and there was some miscommunication. We didn't get to eat it at the restaurant, but they kindly packaged it for us to take home and we enjoyed it later. Although it was good, it would have been way better fresh. But these things happen, it didn't spoil our brunch. On to the mains: lamb shoulder hash...at brunch? Yes, please!!! Topped with two perfectly poached eggs, and brunch potatoes on the side with a nice crisp salad and fresh bread. The lamb was seasoned to perfection, and melted in my mouth. The biggest surprise for me were the potatoes. Brunch potatoes are usually overly greasy and bland. These were fresh, salted, and had the perfect crispness. I would like to think they are fresh, but even if they're frozen...well done! I would have happily eaten 2-3 of these lamb dishes. The French toast was the second entree. Brown butter and maple foam, on top of a piece of French toast that is the size of a small child. Even with all of the sauce, the toast was still crisp. It was a very heavy dish, some fresh berries with some acidity would be nice to cut through it, but the overall flavor was on point. The wine list is exquisite. If you enjoy good wine, this is the spot for you. Their reserve list has some absolute bangers on it at a very reasonable price. All in all, it was a nice experience. We would happily recommend and return.

The sauce was tangy and the capers added a bite that worked perfectly with it on a way that really made the chicken piccata shine as a dish. The whipped potatoes did not have a lot of flavor on their own, but meshed well with the pan sauce. At the conclusion of the meal, the check came with an Andes mint. However, they used a batter for the crust. Much like a Japanese tempura but less garlic. The crust was a hard crunchy shell. The flavor was ok but I just don't care for battered chicken. I also felt like it was cooked too hot. The crust was borderline over cooked but the inside was done. That's just my opinion. They served the chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. Both just warm and as my meal progressed the gravy was straight up cold. But I was finished so I powered through. To be fair, the fried chicken was the least expensive entree on the menu. But I'm kind of a fried chicken snob so I'm gonna give it a 6 out of 10. I prob would not order it again, but there were some other things on the menu I am excited to try on our next visit.
