Over the past few years, we have seen tremendous growth in her confidence, discipline, and perseverance. In the beginning, she wasn't very interested, and there was a point when she even wanted to quit because the forms were becoming more challenging. I spoke with Master Choi about it, and he was incredibly supportive. The instructors slowed down the form practice to help her better follow along. With patience, encouragement, and consistent practice, she eventually mastered it -- and that moment was incredibly meaningful for her. Now, my daughter proactively practices her forms on her own, and Taekwondo has become part of her daily life. Through Taekwondo, she has learned not only physical skills, but also important life values: never giving up, respect, discipline, and self-control. Master Choi, Master Tracy, and all the black belt instructors consistently reinforce these lessons. They are firm when needed, but always kind and encouraging. My son seemed to enjoy it but did not partake like the others since he was tired. There was no wiggle room on time since we were in the trial phase. Price is $200 a month with a 6 month commitment with initiation fee, $230 if you want to go month to month. Since it seemed like our kiddo wasn't quite into it yet and maybe too young, we didn't sign up. I will say though, the establishment is clean. The instructors are attentive and it really requires discipline for the kids. We would consider trying again at a later time but the price tag just seems too high.

I found Master An and he was so welcoming! 30 years older (58) and overweight with a lot of broken parts, he takes what you have left and works with you and your abilities. There are complete families who attend here - mom, dad, kids and have been here for years. Even the kids who have gone off to school always come back here on their breaks to take class. Master An is a wonderful instructor. He is so perfect with the little ones! The kids really seem to enjoy their classes, and you can tell he has so much fun teaching them! This is not a huge school where you are a nobody. Since everyone is at a different level, he gives special attention to each person. Everyone here is very encouraging to each other. The classes are structured yet fun, and the masters/instructors are incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient. I had been looking for a tkd school or dojang at that time and this location is perfect. We took the introductory class and immediately signed him up after the trial sessions. Since then, our son always look forward to his classes. Some days he would be a little tired from school so I let him take a day off but we always sign him up for makeup classes every Friday. Their schedules are flexible so this school is perfect especially for those who have commitments after school or multiple sports/extra curricular. It is also easy to reserve and cancel their classes because you can do it in the Zen app. One more that I like is that they regularly send reminders to their students via email to make sure no deadlines are missed. What we love most are the teachers and assistants. They are very professional and very caring to their students. My son struggles at some parts of their lessons, but the teachers (master instructors and their assistants) always step in and teach them when they need attention and help. Some classes are big, but they make sure all students learn the lessons for the day. The students come from all backgrounds, different ages and different levels of abilities but they are treated equally and respectfully. This school also instill discipline in school and at home through their home rules. These are included in their character evaluation every promotion and I can say my son does well in this aspect. I wanted to add that their front desk ladies are amazing. I am more amazed because they know all the names of the kids in this school! They are very hospitable and approachable too. My son is a few belts away from black belt and he is motivated to achieve that goal at a young age. Thank you so much, NTA!
