I started out skiing and then briefly switched to snowboarding. I bought my first demo skis from these guys when I switched back to skiing over ten years ago. I finally splurged and grabbed a pair of brand new K2 Mindbenders from Ski Pro a few years ago. I am really digging those skis. Prices here aren't too bad here. You can usually grab some good deals during their blowout sales and at their annual Avalanche Sale that they have downtown. Ski Pro started out in the 80's and has grown to be one of the biggest locally-owned action sports store in Arizona. They sell both ski and snowboard equipment and apparel. They also have a repair and rental shop at each store. Some other action sports gear that you can find is stuff for skateboarding and water sports. Majority of the guys that work here are pretty knowledgeable. I am lucky to live down the street from this Mesa location. Ski Pro has three locations in the Valley. You can buy lift passes here for Arizona Snowbowl. Desert Snow Connection has a bus that picks up and drops off out front in the mornings to take you to Flagstaff.

Two days later, on April 10, I received an email informing me that my order was cancelled without an explanation. When I called to inquire, I was told. "Oh, sometimes our inventory is off." I subsequently missed an opportunity to buy the same product on sale from another retailer, making it a double loss. Very disappointing to say the least. They need to keep their inventory accurate or exit the online market. Follow-up to my original one star review of this business. I have upgraded my review to 5 stars. After reading my review, the business owner reached out to me almost immediately with an apology about how my cancellation was handled and made a firm offer to work something out. As a good will gesture, he offered me a newer version of the same gloves at the original price I had paid for the sale item, a $36 difference. The gloves shipped the very next day. This generous gesture speaks volumes about their desire to maintain excellent customer service and to not let customers be disgruntled over a transaction. I will gladly do business with them again. I love that they carry some of our favorite brands like Vuori, Patagonia, North Face, Hoka, New Balance and Birkenstock. They also have a limited selection of energy fuel (ie: gu, gummies, etc...) + sunscreen, lip balm and small sporting accessories. The prices are not cheap, however... unless you luck out and find your size and style on a sale rack. On a recent visit with my daughter, we purchased 3 pairs of shorts. It was fast, good service, and priced right.

The service is almost always good and the guy that built the bike when I bought it was really cool, helpful, and informative. I can't say the prices are always great, but what place has that? I will say they always have deals and good sales and so the pricing is pretty good. They have a large selection and the place is really big so there's usually many of each item in stock. I would recommend them for, at least, an option when you're shopping for sporting goods.

I bought a new helmet, and used shoulder pads. Not even a month later the strap to the shoulder pads broke off. I brought them in, it appeared like the straps had been replaced before. I came here over this past weekend and got a couple sports apparel for such a steal...I'm talking…read more$10 Packers hoodies, $10 Cardinals long polyester tees, and so much more...it was so awesome. I get that football season is almost over, but still...prices were so bomb. They normally do a 10% military discount also but only on regular prices items. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area to check out their other deals. They were quick to process my purchase and pack everything. They also have a decent variety of sports apparel so I really have no complaints except that things were a bit cluttered and disorganized.
