We explained no one in our neighborhood has done one yet but that doesn't mean we won't be allowed - we just need to submit our plan for approval. Then Brendon went across the street and started questioning a neighbor about our HOA rules, came to the door, and said he wasn't interested in doing a plan for us because our neighbor said our plan would never get approved. Obviously, Brendon just didn't want to work today and was looking for an excuse to go home early. Not a company we would do business with if Brendon is their idea of a salesman!

They did a great job the first time they were here although they didn't show up until the next day. They also never showed up for the following service and I had to call him. Two weeks later they were a no-show again so I had to cancel my service and call another company.

We had agreed to a price and then that setup would not work so we came up with another plan. The price increased by $80, I had paid half up front for the whole job. As he progressed he complained about not having enough money so I started giving him more money towards the final 50%. Ih and the cost was supposed to include materials, outside of few feet of PVC I paid for all parts. In the end he left me with an incomplete job to the point that I was unable to water my yard for more than 3 weeks. Do not trust a single word this guy says. Also, i had only met Justin as I gave him a free play yard that I had posted up on Nextdoor. I let him come over over the course of 4 days at night so that he could break it down, I also let him use several of my tools.

I finally went to the office and was told the owners were in the field and could not be reached. I paid over $800 for an irrigation inspection, 2 drip leaks (which only one was actually fixed), a main line repair that still does not work, and for about a wheelbarrow worth of dirt to be brought in to level my yard. On top of that, I have been waiting over 6 weeks for an estimate for other repairs. I have been asking multiple people for 10 days for a paid invoice, which I guess is impossible to complete. I feel like I have been patient. May 5th is when this all began. It is now July 9th and I am no closer to getting answers, an estimate, an invoice, or any sort of communication to get my issues addressed.

Just this summer alone, I've had to repair and replace nine separate sections of the drip line due to leaks. At this point, I've replaced roughly 50% of the entire system myself. What concerns me most is that every leak has occurred in the same type of tubing, which is visibly worn and deteriorated. I even cleaned sections of the removed tubing to make sure dirt wasn't making it look worse--the material is simply degraded. For comparison, I installed another drip irrigation system line in 2021 using different materials. Despite being about two years older than the system installed by Outside Living Concepts, it has experienced only a single leak. I understand the project is now outside of its warranty period, but I don't believe a drip irrigation system should experience this level of failure after only a few years. The amount of time, labor, and money I've had to invest to continually dig up and replace the system has been extremely frustrating. What has been equally disappointing is the follow-through. After discussing the issue, the project manager told me they would send a crew out to repair the next leak. Just two days later, another leak occurred. I immediately reached out, but now two weeks have passed without anyone coming out or any meaningful follow-up. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision. I had hoped for better quality and, when problems arose, better customer support. Based on my experience, I can't recommend Outside Living Concepts.
