It was the only room we haven't beaten in our two years of doing escape rooms as a family. We got hung up on the key with the BBQ prongs, and in hindsight, I wish we had asked for (or been given) a few more clues because we were probably only about five minutes away from finishing. My son was pretty upset afterward, and since we had a kid in our group, I do wish the employees had stepped in a bit more to help us along. The rage room was 10x12 or so, it was extreeeeeeemely small. We couldn't be in the room together and the room was already filled with a bunch of beaten up stuff. They gave us tiny glass bottles that were impossible to break unless you smashed them with a hammer. They wouldn't even break after throwing them hard against the wall. Also, I tried on a jumpsuit they made you wear that had 2 zippers on it, not sure why but they were both broken so I had to take it off and put a whole new one on. Overall, this was not a good experience. The staff that worked there didn't seem to care. She told us we had 30 minutes and she said "you can do, 5 or 10 minutes I really don't care." Like oh, okay cool. We went to ismash in sparks previously and I would absolutely recommend going there over this place. Really upset that we paid so much for such a terrible experience.

Not only did we have an amazing time, but all of our loved ones did as well. The escape room was perfectly balanced--not too hard and not too easy--which made it enjoyable for everyone. Our director, Katelyn, was incredible. She fully stayed in character while still cracking jokes and keeping the atmosphere fun and lighthearted. I also liked the way clues were handled, not having to do the walkie talkie like most other places made the whole experience more consistent. Ryan was our host today, and he was very patient. At one point, we moved too far ahead of the game, and was pretty lost. He helped pause the clock, and moved a few pieces around to help us backtrack. There were still a few pieces of the puzzle we had to solve before moving forward. Thanks for the assist Ryan, we appreciate it. We tried The Heist this time, and would absolutely recommend! We played with two adults and two kids. I think we asked for help/clues 7-10 and escaped with 3 mins to spare. I would probably say 3-4 adults would've been sufficient for this game. Will absolutely be back for another visit. The price is $43 a person. Kids 5 and up were the same price as adults. 4 and under are free. It's on the pricier end, but they will price match with Groupon! Book ahead would be recommended.

The host was the absolute highlight -- most awesome, energetic, and genuinely helpful guy. He set the tone right from the jump, explained everything clearly, kept things moving without giving anything away, and had this perfect balance of hype and chill that made the whole experience feel easy and exciting. You can tell he actually cares about people having a great time. Room itself was creative as hell. Great flow, no cheap gotchas, and the finale felt earned. They were super responsive to my inquiry regarding weekend reservations and up front costs. I think the fact that this escape room took place in a cold house with steep stairs and all of the cool props only made it that much more cool. One of us was able to take the walkie talkie, and on our way we went. I can tell there was a lot of thought put into this, and it was very immersive and interactive. The fact that there were multiple rooms, and one could ask for endless clues helped those of us that are not always puzzle savvy. I like the fact that early that day they reached out to state the credit card machine was down to please bring cash, and going through the very last parts of escaping.
