Just wrapped the Witch Doctor room with a small group and damn, that was one of the most fun, well-put-together escape rooms I've done in a long time. Perfect mix of clever puzzles, solid theming, and that immersive "you're actually in the story" vibe without going overboard. The host was the absolute highlight -- most awesome, energetic, and genuinely helpful guy. He set the tone right from the jump, explained everything clearly, kept things moving without giving anything away, and had this perfect balance of hype and chill that made the whole experience feel easy and exciting. You can tell he actually cares about people having a great time. Room itself was creative as hell. Great flow, no cheap gotchas, and the finale felt earned. First time visiting Deadline Escape Rooms and I have to say--it was such a fun experience! I'm not usually into anything scary, gory, or horror-related, but I do love a good detective, sleuth, or murder mystery theme--and this definitely delivered. The representative who greeted us was pleasant, friendly, and very welcoming (I'm so sorry I forgot her name!). She set the tone for a great experience right from the start. We only had time to complete Episode One, but we all thoroughly enjoyed it and are already planning to come back for Episode Two. And yes--we escaped! We didn't beat the best time, but that just gives us something to aim for next time. What really stood out was how well the clues were designed. They guided you through solving the mystery without leaving you feeling stuck or confused. Some escape rooms can make you wonder, "Okay... what's next?"--but not here. Loved this escape room! Multi-room escape room, each room was done very well, puzzles are clever, challenging, and entertaining. You really feel like this escape room takes you to another place and time which you would not ever get to experience otherwise. Our group has done about 10 escape rooms throughout California and Nevada and this was a favorite of ours. Did "noir" with 4 friends for a birthday. Not a great experience compared to other escape rooms I've done. The host, Onyx, seemed like she didn't like her job. The escape room was set up so the 2nd puzzle you are supposed to solve didn't make sense. We spent almost 20 minutes on it and finally asked for a clue. It was annoying because we are all pretty smart. we still finished in time. At the end, Onyx disappeared and didn't offer to take our groups photo, like every other escape room we have done. we just took our own photo outside. read more

The best in the Reno area!!! The room was clean and all the props worked- which is not always the case in an escape room. It is obvious the owners of this place care about their business. The host was great and thorough in explaining the types of locks. The experience my husband and I did was Noir and it was very straight forward and solvable for two people. It was also a lot of fun. What an adventure! We did the Witch Doctor. Five of us decided to try our hand at escaping with the help of the Voodoo Priestess. We did finish in an hour and seven minutes and did use several clues, but a grand time was had by all. Can't wait to come back and try another escape room. We enjoyed Witch Doctor. The room was very immersive. I thought the room was going to be easy and was not excited that it seemed to have 1.5 rooms. I was wrong, The room kept us engaged and we got out with just 7 mins left. We really enjoyed the story line. We will definitely return to do their other rooms. read more

I've heard good things about this place! So I was disappointed when my group of 8 (7 +1 kiddo) kept running into technical difficulties on the Lady of the Lake room. We made it out with ~ 23 mins left but had to constantly talk with our person to make sure that our next clues were properly activated to trigger the next event. We ran into 2 cases where we didn't solve something in the right order and because of the technical difficulties, we had to stop and wait for the employee to fix the issue. We waited on/ off for about 15 mins throughout the whole room. It was hard because we lost our momentum and were left more confused because we didn't know the cause/ effect of all the puzzles. I'm giving 3 stars only because the storyline was cool, and I had a friend go and complete the room successfully a few weekends later read more

You have one hour to gather clues, open locks and eliminate suspects. It was great fun and the hour flew by, to quickly. It was our first experience at an escape room and we had to ask for help with clues more than once. Unfortunately we ran out of time before we discovered the murderer and we opted for one of the attendants to show us what we missed. I have a group of friends I pretty regularly do space rooms with. We had actually been at another one in town where the game master had recommended Deadline to us. We were told there was a room where you had to be fairly quiet or else the lights went out in the room. Immediately we knew this sounded up our alley! The parking situation at Deadline is very generous so no need to worry about carpooling. Once we arrived, we were greeted and pretty much went right into our game room. The name of the game is "Dead Silence". You can speak in hushed tones. It was only when we accidentally banged something that the lights went out and thankfully, it only lasts for 20 seconds. The puzzles were somewhat unique. I feel like though the room says up to 8 people, with the 7 of us, we had "too many cooks in the kitchen". The room really kept us on our toes while trying to figure out what could come next. It was really fun! We all really enjoyed ourselves. I definitely recommend this place. We did Dead Silence. It was a little challenging, but it was super fun! It wasn't impossible, which I like because it's no fun when it's too difficult. They have a nice clean lobby with a Pac-Man game you and a friend can play while waiting for your room to be ready. The employee at the front is very friendly as well. I just took my family here for my little brother's birthday and we spent over $200 total. The room itself was great, but what really ruined the experience was what happened after the game. My little brother wanted to have them take a Polaroid photo with their camera as a birthday memento. We even offered to pay extra, but they refused and said they couldn't do it. After spending over $200, they couldn't take one single Polaroid for a birthday memory? It left such a sour taste in our mouths and completely overshadowed the fun we had. read more
