He arrived with his crew and they started clearing while Calmo went to pick up the plants I had purchased along with the amendments. He returned and we laid out the plants. I noticed he had not brought the rototiller or the soil amendment and asked. He skipped my question. He asked if I had planned on landscape fabric or bark chips. He said he had bark chips. I had not intended on it, but had 8 bags in the garage. He said we needed 20 more. I was getting frustrated that our visions were not meshing. We bought more mulch. Skipping to the end, my yard looks nicer, but I did not get what I wanted. He tried to push me towards getting sod and also having him put in a sprinkler system. I appreciate the work he did but feel like the communication was not great.

I had what I thought was an issue about our tile roof that would require a complete replacement…read more Every roofing contractor that came suggested an expensive replacement, some without going on the roof to inspect, those who got on the roof but didn't take any pictures or moving a single tile. Jonathan was different. He was all about details and was scrupulous. He took pictures to show me areas that, down the road, may need work. He commented on the cracked screws around the vent cover, the broken seal around the skylight, the flashing being clean, the current condition of the underlayment, the protective metal shield along the perimeter of the house installed by the previous owner, etc. In spite of some minor issues, he concluded that the roof is in good condition and no repair or replacement is necessary. He didn't charge me anything for the inspection when offered . He explained well and was pleasant. Jonathan came over and checked everything out, giving us the unfortunate update that we had a lot more issues than we actually knew. When he inspected our roof for a quote, he is the ONLY roofer who took pictures to explain to us what was going on up there. He is also the ONLY roofer who followed up with us after receiving the quote. We had a small legal battle due to our inspector being negligent which is why we didn't know about any of these roofing issues. We did some research on the products they were going to use and after everything we found out it was a clear choice for us on who to proceed with. We signed a contract with them in January and we just completed our roof and gutter installation before the end of March. There was a lot more damage than what we expected which made us even more grateful that we had Jonathan and his team working on our home. He communicated with us the entire time with daily updates on their progress. We are so grateful to LeMoine Roofing and would recommend them to anyone. We can't wait for more housing projects in the future and will absolutely be giving them a call.

So I decided to use Mint again for landscaping work where I had to install brick and shrubs on my…read morefront porch. When they started the project the day of Halloween, the landscapers showed up very early. It only took a few minutes for them to remove the dead shrubs. At first the front porch looked pretty bad because of the bare porch. The next day, landscapers returned to apply more sod and start the brick work. When they laid the brick, my porch started to look more even. The shrubs like blue fescue, lavender, fountain grass and azalea were installed. Once that was done, mulch was applied to the porch and side yard. Everything was basically complete except for a couple boulders to be installed. Unfortunately it did take a couple weeks for it to arrive. I emailed Josh(owner of Mint Landscapes) checking on the status, and the boulder was installed the very next day. Now my front porch looks AMAZING!! My neighbors always compliment me about my porch. I'm extremely happy about the work they did. Although Mint is not the cheapest in the area, they do provide excellent work and are very courteous. I'd highly recommend them.

A dollar amount they said was pretty small for them so my job took on the feel of being more of an annoyance to everyone at the company. We start the prop with the designer showing up with no tape measure! This should have been a clue! Problems with incorrect sizes and material requirements rained supreme during this nightmare. Deposits were paid in September for an April start date, only to find out one day one of the project there would be delays because the required materials were not ordered. Oh by the way if they say you need 20 plants or 16 pavers and they only use 5 of each, they keep the rest. It's in the contract! Oh did I mention that if they stated you need 15 plants and you need 20 they will sell you the other 5 from inventory left over from other jobs! Yes, paid twice for the same plant! By the way, the plants they bring only have a warranty if you buy their installed sprinkler system for an additional cost. On and on and on it went! In the end I gave up, tired of fighting for what should have been common sense! Stay away from this company!!
