Located in a small plaza in Rancho Santa Margaita, Elissimo Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster. They offer baked treats from Black Market bakery and the inside gives the vibe of a farm house with some sofas and high table tops. Churro latte - $6.25 (16 oz.) - This latte had a slight churro flavor but unfortunately the espresso was so weak and watered down. It was slightly smooth, but overall the drink was a huge disappointment. Overall, the environment is welcoming and the staff friendly. I was however expecting a much better coffee drink. A recent coffee shop in RSM where you can enjoy daily specials and flavored drinks. There's a little seating area inside and a few outdoor tables as well. I was looking at the churro latte that was one of their drinks that was featured on the wall along with a regular latte. I love the fact that they serve in mugs for people that are drinking at the store. I just felt like both drinks tasted a little too similar and the espresso used in it was very weak. It almost had a very light flavor of espresso, not the strong flavor even for a flavored latte that I've had many other places. read more

I've been here several times but I'm just getting around to reviewing it now. This is a quaint, locally owned coffee shop located in the Plaza Emptesa shopping plaza off of RSM Parkway and Empresa, with plenty of shared parking. They're located next to Jersey Mike's and El Fenix. The inside has several high tables and there are 1-2 small couches and regular 2-seater tables as well. The baristas are friendly enough, meaning not overly friendly but not rude. They have a diverse coffee and tea menu with reasonable prices. My absolute favorite drink is the Borgia, which is a mocha with orange syrup. It's so creamy and delicious! I always order it with oat milk. It's like drinking dessert! They also offer pastries, although I haven't tried them yet. They're open from 6am - 5pm Mon - Fri, 7am - 4pm on Sat and 7am - 2pm on Sun. I prefer to support independent coffee shops like this instead of the big coffee chains, so I intend to frequent Elissimo more often. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! read more

The smallest size drink here comes in a 12oz cup. No matter what you order that cup will be full to the last millimeter. What watered down hot beverage do you fancy? I guess they have it. Yeah, not sure what drinks here are drawing all the praise. I've tried coming here 6+ different times due to my proximity and have tried different hot drinks - teas, pour overs, lattes - unfortunately the "baristas" seem to have no interest, passion, or clue what the history or norm for coffee/tea quality is. No one here cares about crema in the espresso, how the frothiness of milk should differ between a latte or a cappuccino, or that more liquid in the cup does not make a better value when you don't care about the quality of the liquid. Restroom is clean, prices aren't exorbitant, but good coffee isn't a focus - 2 stars for that. read more
