The coffee was excellent and, best of all, not overly sweet--exactly how I like it. The space is spacious and inviting, with clean restrooms, plenty of seating, and thoughtful touches that make you want to stay awhile. When we visited, the World Cup was being projected, creating a fun atmosphere, and there were coloring supplies available for kids, making it especially family-friendly. Service was quick and efficient, though it wasn't very busy on the Saturday morning we visited. They also have some really cute merch for sale. Overall, a great spot for coffee, relaxing, or catching up with friends. Highly recommend!

While I do like their service in terms of walking though the options and their location, I didn't actually like the coffee that much hence 3.5/5. I tried their cold foam flight. To be fair, the foam was dairy alternative and i asked them for everything to be light on sugar. The flight comes with 4 diff base cold brews, 4 flavors of cold foam. The sesame one has no sugar so they recommend adding vanilla or some syrup. They don't have stevia or SGfree on hand. I saw a lot of people get their banana matcha which they described as pseudo boba because of the actual fruit in the drink. But to be fair, it's called kape. I expected their coffee to be the star and it didn't feel that way. Also it's on the beach so parking will be a block away and there's a little uphill walk to be aware of

Cute little coffee shop tucked in the corner of The Grove in Laguna Niguel. The shop is right next to Patsy's Irish Pub off of Crown Valley and Golden Lantern. The staff is friendly. Our first time there, my husband asked the barista if she could make he a Peanut Butter Latte with cold foam. I opted for a Cold Brew with Choc Nut syrup and vanilla cold foam. Both drinks were delicious. The best part this coffee shop is 5 minutes from my house. Ambiance 5/5 Service 5/5 Drinks 5/5

Delicious coffee, friendly employees and a fun kid space to create and play! All of this will make you want to come back for more! Kape Roaster is located in a small shopping center near a thrift store and an Irish pub! The parking lot has plenty of space and room for strollers. My drink was made quickly and brought to me while my daughter played in the kid area. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was delicious! It's definitely a place to visit if you're looking for a space where kids can be kids, so you can caffeinate while they play.

I found this hidden coffee spot in Laguna Niguel on a Sunday afternoon and I am glad I did. It is a very spacious coffee spot in a business center with plenty of parking. There is seating available and I saw a few people working on their laptops. My sister and I got the Choc Nut Latte. It was sweet and tasty. We also got a chocolate filled croissant. They had other yummy pastries and merchandise available for purchase. I will try this place again whenever I am in the area.

Saw this spot on Yelp after completing a hike in the area. We were intrigued by the seasonal menu and the pictures of the drinks with the delicious cream tops! We were surprised to learn that the seasonal drinks were such a hit that they decided to add it to the regular menu! Off their recommendation, I ordered the turon latte and it was super delicious!! I love a latte with banana and I loved the filipino twist. The coffee was super smooth and creamy and the foam on top made it even better. This cafe has a large space for all your working at cafe needs! They also had a space in the back for kiddos, and events for families and the community!! Service was super friendly, the baristas were all attentive and knowledgeable in their menu. Definitely wish I was closer to this spot because I want to try their upcoming winter/spring menu (hopefully they keep the matcha guava or passion fruit foam ) Will definitely be back to this cafe when I'm in this area!!

I loved my Ube Coconut Milk! I had some girl time at Kape! I love how the owner is building community ambiance for moms, musicians, and education all built around COFFEE, food, and play! They have an adorable section full of kids books, toys, and a mini amphitheater for readers to sit while children listen along! Did I mention this is a coffee one-stop-shop? :)

I am so happy to find this little gem of a coffee shop. The service was incredibly friendly. The coffee delicious. The avocado smash on ube toast rewired my brain! Also anything served with pickled veggies is getting my vote of approval. Also ordered the almond croissant and chocolate croissant for a foodie friend and she loved both. Spacious inside and there is a play area in the back for families with littles.

This new spot is such a win! I ordered the Ube Latte and was very impressed. Such a gorgeous looking drink with that pretty purple color from the Ube Cold Foam, and the flavor of the espresso was spot on. The service was super friendly and welcoming. I want to try some of the Filipino snacks next time that were tempting me in the window! 10/10 flavor. This might be my new fixation drink.

I was in the area and wanted to get an early start on work; this coffee shop is easy to miss in the little outdoor shopping mall with its miscellaneous shops. Walking in, the shop is super personable, from the kids play area in the back to its staff greeting you up front. I got to chat with the owner and get recommendations from the signature menu. While the choc nut and kape mocha sounded amazing, the I oped to try the Kape Latte. Made with some condensed milk for sweetness, the quality of the coffee isn't overpowered by it. The original coffee flavors combined with the great coffee quality make this a great option for those looking to visit with friends, work remote, or grab some quick fuel! Can't wait to come back and try the other coffee options.

I had no idea there's a lovely cafe like this in my neighborhood if it wasn't for Yelp! The exterior looks unassuming but the interior of the cafe is very very spacious! I was so blown away by the huge space inside. I placed the order online ahead of time but my drink wasn't ready when arriving. That's ok as I wanted it decaf but the option wasn't available when I initially placed the order. Parking is free and plentiful right in front of the cafe. My coffee tasted like chocolate milk with coffee notes! Super velvety and creamy. Not too sweet, just how I enjoy it. They have other unique flavored goodies I am looking forward to trying out next. They have peanut flavored mocha for example. And their matcha drinks sounded very unique and different. I don't know where they source the baked items but every items looked sumptuous. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future!

10.8.2025 choc nut latte.. a bit too sweet and PB wasn't strong enough

I really wanted to like this spot but was very disappointed by this spot each time I went. The plaza has plentiful parking which is nice. The space of the cafe itself is very open but they don't utilize it the best so there's not a ton of tables inside however I haven't seen this place that packed. They have fast wifi as well which is good for getting work done. For drinks, I have tried both the choc nut latte as well as the Kape matcha latte. The choc nut is essentially a PB mocha but the peanut butter flavor was absent for me and the coffee itself tasted watered down. The Kape matcha is a matcha latte with condensed milk but I didn't really taste the sweetness from the condensed milk and the matcha was very poor in quality and tasted like grass water. The ube ensaymada was probably the only thing that was decent that I would recommend.

Yum! I love Kape! It has become my go to spot for coffee, snacks, sandwiches, and pastries. It's very community and family oriented. I love how there are so many events that happy throughout the month, like yoga, children reading time, craft workshops, live music, etc. it's fun to check out their Instagram and see what's going on! The workers are SUPER friendly. The owner is the best and he gets to know you. Every time I visit I have a great chat and a nice time! Come check them out!!!

I read that this is owned by a Japanese couple who has extensive knowledge and love for coffee. Tucked in a corner within a small shopping plaza by a Japanese bakery, Mameya is a micro roaster that offering coffee enthusiasts and connoisseurs an opportunity to select over a dozen raw single origin and blend beans. Excellence in every Roast. at Mameya, there is precisely. And passion to every bean. Service is great. The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly if you have any questions or inexperienced. The ambiance is intimate and rather small. There isn't a lot of space where you can sit or stand. Pros: I ordered their pour over common blend and it was solid. I also grabbed a 12oz bag of their Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Natural. It took about 20 minutes for them to complete the roasting process. After 4 days, I grinned the beans for a pour over and could tell this was already going to be a decent cup of joe. I did not see any significant bloom but the draw time was great based on my grind size. Cons: This shop is too far and too small so if there is a line and you don't have time, you might have to skip the experience. While I don't anticipate Mameya expanding, I would come back in a while.

One nice bonus is there's a great park just around the corner down the hill with beautiful views. You can grab your drink and drive over to sit and enjoy it there, which is a nice touch. What I really loved was the multitude of sitting areas around the whole coffee shop and also a little play area for toddlers. (Kitchen play) next to the door -- so adorable!
