I really like the concept of Sabr Coffee House. It's located inside a mosque and I think that makes it a unique place to visit. There are also a few other businesses inside, including BK Grill if you are looking to grab a meal before or after your coffee. In addition, there is plenty of places where you can sit, work, chat, or study. The prices are a little on the higher side, but the comfortable atmosphere and spacious seating help make up for it. My friends and I ordered a kettle of Kashmiri chai to try. Service was good and the chai came out in a few minutes. Unfortunately, the chai was disappointing. The color looked great, and I was expecting a rich flavor of chai, but it ended up tasting very watery. Honestly speaking, it was more like hot water rather than a tea. We ended up forcing ourselves to finish the kettle before heading home. I was quite disappointed because I had high hopes. My friend and I were dropping off my partner at a local pickleball spot and were craving matcha, so we came across Sabr Cafe! We honestly didn't realize it was tucked inside a religious/community center. There were a lot of people studying there, and the space itself was really open and spacious. We were afraid that we were being too loud so I don't recommend this place to hang out unless you're studying or doing work. We also liked that there was a restaurant next to Sabr, so we ended up getting a quesadilla that was HUGE and was yummy treat to go with our drinks. For matcha, I got the einspanner and my friend got the Cinnamon Toast Matcha. I really enjoyed the einspanner matcha! It was smooth and definitely hit the spot. My only mistake was drinking it around 2 PM because I literally could not sleep the rest of the night haha. Overall, good drinks and a chill place to study. Suchhhh good matcha!!! Came here at 2pm, and it was so busy!! It was pretty busy in here as it's a religious center but the service is still speedy & nice!!! I got the Matcha Einspämnner along with zata'ar cheese danish. It had a nice creamy flavor and texture of matcha with really sweet bottom milk part. I wish I had known how sweet the drink was going to be towards the bottom. I would've ordered it 50% less sugar instead. Something to keep in mind so you don't get surprised half way through the cup. The zata'ar cheese danish was not exactly what I was expecting. I don't know why I assumed that it's going to be something more savory instead of very sweet. Not a repeat item for me as the zata'ar itself didn't really have much flavor and the pastry itself was way too sweet. The cafe has a nice open seating area perfect for doing work on the laptop or enjoying the food. I saw that there is a BK Grill that offers regular burgers and pizza type fare along with Indian food. The prices there seemed reasonable and I would certainly try them out as it offers traditional Indian breakfast items. The service at Sabr Coffee was not exactly the friendliest or the nicest. The man looked very annoyed by every customer interactions he had. I'm assuming it just interrupted whatever he was more interested in listening to on his AirPods. I felt bad as he didn't have to be so curt towards the 3 other ladies who needed to speak to him about various order related things. Been here multiple times, always fast service and yummy drinks. Haven't had the chance to study here but there's soo much space and it's very quiet and it's never full. I've had the matcha einspanner and the mango matcha. Einspanner is consistently good. Mango matcha was a bit too sweet for me (I typically get 70% sweet on boba drinks) but I can always ask for less sweet in the future. Flavor was really yummy though, almost like a mango hi-chew. Located inside an unmarked business building, which also houses a mosque on the right (Sabr is straight through). Very peaceful atmosphere. I would give negative 5 stars if I could. I came here expecting a normal public cafe experience. There was no indication from the outside that this was anything other than a typical cafe in an office park. The community center signage inside points elsewhere, and there was no clear notice that this cafe operates under additional conduct rules. My girlfriend and I were quietly showing normal affection in a corner of the cafe. We were not loud, disruptive, or bothering anyone. The cafe was mostly empty. As we left, we briefly kissed near our cars far away from other people, and security left the front to approach us and tell us that this was a community center and that our behavior was considered improper. You are free to have your own standards on your property, but paying customers should not have to discover those standards only after unknowingly violating rules that were never communicated. If you operate a public business with significantly different expectations from what most people would expect, clearly communicate it or restrict entry. Do not present yourself as normal and then expect customers to follow hidden rules after the fact. If this is the type of environment you want to maintain, open shop somewhere else where those expectations are already understood instead of relying on the public to guess. They should really update on Google Maps that this is located in a religious building and not truly open to the public. I was treated really Horribly when I had no idea and so was my friend (on a separate occasion). I stopped here for the first time otw to the gym for a quick brew and was really excited to try it based off the pictures and vibe I saw after a quick gps search. I have always been a huge fav of Sabr and their matcha but I had a not great experience recently. Last week I went and got a vanilla matcha for $8 and asked for light ice (because the barista filled the cup with ice until it was over flowing). They then gave me way less of a drink even thought they could have added more milk or cold foam that I paid an extra $1 for. It turned out super sweet but I did not want a whole bunch of water in my drink from the ice melting (main portion of matcha latte is milk and matcha). I think the recipes need to change because if someone if paying $8 for a drink, it should be filled to the brim in my opinion. Walking in I saw a lot of folks on their laptops doing some work. Sabr Coffee is a small coffee shop with a couple yummy looking pastries on display and a calm atmosphere to concentrate on tasks. I ordered an einspänner latte and matcha latte with almond milk. The latte that my boyfriend had, said was a tad too sweet for his taste but was a good level of creamy. For the matcha, I fairly enjoyed it. The cream top is nice, but wish the matcha was a bit stronger. It was a bit watered down with the ice and milk. It's not a bad matcha but know it can be leveled up. This is a good place if you want matcha in a pinch and are near it. Customer service was wonderful, I would come back. read more

Sabr Coffee House is open to all and located at a corporate building which has a mosque at one side and a large cafeteria with seating for about 100+ people. I've tried most of the drinks here as well as desserts. Biscoff milkcake ($8) - I was pretty disappointed with the milk cake here, it was on the dry side. On subsequent visits I noticed the milk cake didn't look that appealing so it was a hard pass. Knafeh cheesecake ($8)- This was a pleasant surprise and had a different consistency, more like a goat cheese. I would get this over the milk cake. Will have to try the gulab jamun cheesecake one of these days. Karak chai ($5.50 - 8 oz or large pot) - This is popular drink in the Middle East and made with black tea, cardamon, milk and other spices. All the drinks I have tried here have been too sweet, similar to Karak House in Laguna Hills. So now whenever I order a drink here I ask for it to be 1/2 sweet, which is on par with Saana Cafe and Qamaria. Kashmiri chai ($6 - 8 oz or large pot for $18) - This is a popular Pakistani tea from the Northern area. It's actually made with green tea, baking soda and aerating it which generates that pink color and then adding some warm milk. It's rich and creamy and my favorite tea here. I've made it at home from scratch after trying it here and I can say mine is just as good, lol. Overall the teas here aren't bad. I do think the pricing for the 8 oz is too much, especially since all the competitors are offering 12 oz for that price. The sabr latte (cookie butter red velvet - $7) and the desert pear latte ($7) were just ok. Oddly the specialty drinks are 12 oz instead of 8 oz. I know they are still in their soft opening phase, so hopefully they expand their dessert offerings and improve on their milkcakes. read more

I recently discovered this place while scrolling through Instagram. I did not realize that this coffee spot was so close to home. My sister and I needed a study spot so we went to try it out. I believe the barista told us it had red velvet and something else in it. Overall, I did enjoy the drink because it was on the sweeter side. I LOVED how spacious and clean the sitting area was. There were tons of plug ins and room to breathe. There is also a food spot that serves pizzas and other options right next to Sabr. The parking there was easy to find. I would have to say that my only complaint was that we were there for a few hours, but because the building was under construction, they had the women's bathroom closed off. They did not let us know how long it would take or if there were other restrooms we could use instead. So, we waited and finally decided to go home just to use the restroom. Today, my husband and I visited Sabr Coffeehouse for the first time, and it was a delightful experience. The location was easy to find, nestled inside a business building with ample seating. I stopped in after work while shopping in the area. Ample parking but after i parked I noticed security looking at me a little oddly, which i assumed was because I needed a hair cut. The coffee shop is shared with the cafe way in the back of the building. As I entered i saw some lovely middle eastern families sitting at the cafe tables and also heard middle eastern music but just thought it was a hang out for many in the area. I got the signature latte iced which came out in about 30 seconds. It was delicious and the place was spotless with a woodfire pizza oven toward the back. As I was leaving on the left of the front entrance I saw a huge room with towels/rugs in cubes on the ground and people praying which I thought was a gymnasium but turns out the building is the Rahma center which is a mosque. No issues with that here I just wasn't sure if this place is open to the public or not. Either way my apologies if I interrupted anyone.
