Their matcha is good, don't get me wrong. But size is a bit small, especially if they don't offer multiple sizes of drinks. As of August, they didn't have some drinks yet (like matcha einspanner, so keep that in mind.) I would suggest to have the menu placed elsewhere because I couldn't peruse the menu till I stood at hr register, which would be a problem if there was a line. Wanted to love this place because of all the social media hype, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and initially thought it was good. Their coffee and drinks are pretty simple and on the more plain side. Personally, I thought the coffee could have been stronger, especially since I usually drink coffee for the caffeine and expect it to give me a little more of a boost. Unfortunately, by the time I got home, I was only halfway through my coffee when my stomach started hurting pretty badly, and I ultimately ended up spending much longer in the bathroom than I would have liked. I drink coffee pretty frequently (probably five out of seven days a week) and I generally don't have this kind of reaction to the different coffees I drink. I also hadn't consumed anything besides water this morning, so I'm fairly confident the coffee was what upset my stomach. My biggest concern is that if I had gotten this coffee before heading to work and had the same reaction, I would have been cooked. Thankfully, today was my day off. Aside from that experience, the shop itself has plenty of seating, and the staff is very friendly. I go to Sabr so many times and the staff is wonderful and so kind! There are plenty of seating options but the outlets are a bit limited so I would just come in with your device fully charged. Saw that they moved to a new location, and finally got to try them out. I haven't tried too many Middle Eastern/South Asian coffee shops yet, so I was really glad that the staff took their time to explain the menu. I got the tahini latte, and my friend got their special pistachio one. We also grabbed two of their pastries, the one with dates and the kataifi(?) one. Our drinks and pastries were ready in about 5-10 minutes. This location has some seats indoor that makes for a great study/working space, and a few seats outdoor with free wifi included. My tahni latte tasted like a classic latte made creamy/milky with tahini. We ended up liking the pistachio latte a lot more for the floral/pistachio taste to it! For the pastries, our favorite was the kataifi(?) one. It was the perfect amount of sweetness, and the crumbliness gave it really great texture. read more

This is the first time I visited Sabr Coffee House after their move a few weeks ago. I have to admit, the pistachio drink is the best!!! Along with their specialty pistachio Danish which is perfectly toasted and served warm. The service is amazing and they are so quick to make the orders ready for you. I can't stop to admire the ambience and the beautiful decor. The rug on the wall and the red floors present a unique and trendy look. Perfect picture spot!! Suchhhh good matcha!!! Came here at 2pm, and it was so busy!! It was pretty busy in here as it's a religious center but the service is still speedy & nice!!! We got the seaweed banana matcha & the cinnamon toast matcha (CTM) which were both SPLENDID!!! The seaweed banana matcha had notes of banana that complimented the seaweed so well. I really like the concept of Sabr Coffee House. It's located inside a mosque and I think that makes it a unique place to visit. In addition, there is plenty of places where you can sit, work, chat, or study. The prices are a little on the higher side, but the comfortable atmosphere and spacious seating help make up for it. My friends and I ordered a kettle of Kashmiri chai to try. Service was good and the chai came out in a few minutes. Unfortunately, the chai was disappointing. The color looked great, and I was expecting a rich flavor of chai, but it ended up tasting very watery. Honestly speaking, it was more like hot water rather than a tea. We ended up forcing ourselves to finish the kettle before heading home. I was quite disappointed because I had high hopes. However, I am willing to give it a second chance and try a different drink on their menu and hope for a better experience because Ilike the atmosphere and the overall concept of the place. read more

My friend and I were dropping off my partner at a local pickleball spot and were craving matcha, so we came across Sabr Cafe! We honestly didn't realize it was tucked inside a religious/community center. There were a lot of people studying there, and the space itself was really open and spacious. We were afraid that we were being too loud so I don't recommend this place to hang out unless you're studying or doing work. We also liked that there was a restaurant next to Sabr, so we ended up getting a quesadilla that was HUGE and was yummy treat to go with our drinks. For matcha, I got the einspanner and my friend got the Cinnamon Toast Matcha. I really enjoyed the einspanner matcha! It was smooth and definitely hit the spot. My only mistake was drinking it around 2 PM because I literally could not sleep the rest of the night haha. Overall, good drinks and a chill place to study. When I visited, the drink sizes were fairly small (maybe it is the type of drink I ordered) for somewhat of a steep price. Overall the drinks were very good, the espresso in the einspanner was fragrant and the matcha tasted of high quality. The cashier/barista who helped me was very fantastic, offered to make adjustments to drinks if needed, and even walked me through the menu, which was much appreciated. I got the Matcha Einspämnner along with zata'ar cheese danish. It had a nice creamy flavor and texture of matcha with really sweet bottom milk part. The zata'ar cheese danish was not exactly what I was expecting. I don't know why I assumed that it's going to be something more savory instead of very sweet. Not a repeat item for me as the zata'ar itself didn't really have much flavor and the pastry itself was way too sweet. The cafe has a nice open seating area perfect for doing work on the laptop or enjoying the food. I saw that there is a BK Grill that offers regular burgers and pizza type fare along with Indian food. The prices there seemed reasonable and I would certainly try them out as it offers traditional Indian breakfast items. The service at Sabr Coffee was not exactly the friendliest or the nicest. The man looked very annoyed by every customer interactions he had. I'm assuming it just interrupted whatever he was more interested in listening to on his AirPods. I felt bad as he didn't have to be so curt towards the 3 other ladies who needed to speak to him about various order related things. Warning!!!: Coffee is pretty good but slower than hell. I was one of two people in line and the place was pretty empty and it took me over 20 minutes to get my coffee. Unfortunately my family and I did not love our experience here. We came on a Sunday afternoon for coffee, and matcha but none of us enjoyed our drinks. I live like 4 minutes away and the only bad thing about the drink is I almost finished it on my drive home. That good. Inside was nicely decorated. I ordered an einspänner latte and matcha latte with almond milk. The latte that my boyfriend had, said was a tad too sweet for his taste but was a good level of creamy. For the matcha, I fairly enjoyed it. The cream top is nice, but wish the matcha was a bit stronger. It was a bit watered down with the ice and milk. It's not a bad matcha but know it can be leveled up. This is a good place if you want matcha in a pinch and are near it. Customer service was wonderful, I would come back. read more

I have always been a huge fav of Sabr and their matcha but I had a not great experience recently. Last week I went and got a vanilla matcha for $8 and asked for light ice (because the barista filled the cup with ice until it was over flowing). They then gave me way less of a drink even thought they could have added more milk or cold foam that I paid an extra $1 for. It turned out super sweet but I did not want a whole bunch of water in my drink from the ice melting (main portion of matcha latte is milk and matcha). I think the recipes need to change because if someone if paying $8 for a drink, it should be filled to the brim in my opinion. Sabr Coffee House is open to all and located at a corporate building which has a mosque at one side and a large cafeteria with seating for about 100+ people. I've tried most of the drinks here as well as desserts. Biscoff milkcake ($8) - I was pretty disappointed with the milk cake here, it was on the dry side. On subsequent visits I noticed the milk cake didn't look that appealing so it was a hard pass. Knafeh cheesecake ($8)- This was a pleasant surprise and had a different consistency, more like a goat cheese. I would get this over the milk cake. Will have to try the gulab jamun cheesecake one of these days. Karak chai ($5.50 - 8 oz or large pot) - This is popular drink in the Middle East and made with black tea, cardamon, milk and other spices. All the drinks I have tried here have been too sweet, similar to Karak House in Laguna Hills. So now whenever I order a drink here I ask for it to be 1/2 sweet, which is on par with Saana Cafe and Qamaria. Kashmiri chai ($6 - 8 oz or large pot for $18) - This is a popular Pakistani tea from the Northern area. It's actually made with green tea, baking soda and aerating it which generates that pink color and then adding some warm milk. It's rich and creamy and my favorite tea here. I've made it at home from scratch after trying it here and I can say mine is just as good, lol. Overall the teas here aren't bad. I do think the pricing for the 8 oz is too much, especially since all the competitors are offering 12 oz for that price. The sabr latte (cookie butter red velvet - $7) and the desert pear latte ($7) were just ok. Oddly the specialty drinks are 12 oz instead of 8 oz. I know they are still in their soft opening phase, so hopefully they expand their dessert offerings and improve on their milkcakes. read more
