Pretty good coffee place near the Clava sports center. A 12 oz latte is 5.25. The burritos are heated from frozen. I had one a while back and don't remember how it was. I guess it was neither great nor horrible. Today I got the avocado toast and it was pretty good. They don't skimp on the guacamole, and sprinkle red pepper flakes on top. The place is roomy and the temperature was nice at 7:45 AM.

Another wonderful cup of new coffee. The toffee crunch latte was creamy, rich and flavorful. The ham & cheese croissant was served hot and flaky - so yummy! The staff were helpful and welcoming. Ambiance is relaxing and casual.

Good Haymaker breakfast burrito with salsa and that thousand island/mayonnaise type sauce. Also go the latte. Latte was good as well! Service - good service and fairly quick! Ambiance - high ceilings and a good vibe feel. Verdict - yes, good place to chill here at Lake Forest. And free WiFi too!

I am absolutely obsessed with this place! Anytime I am anywhere close, I will make a detour to come here. I always order the avocado toast, which is made on the most deliciously fresh piece of white bread (maybe sourdough). And then my go to is the espresso tonic. They sell their espresso beans by the bag up at the front. Right now they have around 20 different roasted beans to choose from. You can't go wrong coming here!

Have tried this place several times. Love the decor and vibe of the place. Even worked here one time. They have free wifi. Service is good. Have tried their breakfast burrito, avocado toast, seasonal coffee, and iced tea. We've enjoyed their food. Enjoyed the iced tea and recently the banana bread latte. This specifically says "oat milk" on the menu. So didn't specify what milk I wanted as it says oat milk. However, I think they put regular milk. I'm lactose intolerant and had issues after drinking it!

Bodhi Leaf is a super cute and quaint coffee shop that I visited while in area. I knew I wanted something other than your standard Starbucks. And I found this lovely place. When I walked in there were tons of people, all the tables were taken and only bar top seats were available. I ordered a vanilla latte. It was perfect temperature, smooth, the beans were also perfectly roasted. I sat at the bar and enjoyed my latte and people watched. This is definitely a place I would Visit again when visiting the Irvine, Lake Forest area.

Plenty of parking and place is large to study or work quietly. The Flavored Latte (Lavender) in Oat Milk was well made. The espresso in the latte was strong, with a good amount of caffeine that kept me awake all day!

Great coffee shop with friendly staff! We got two iced coffee and a breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was okay-the tortilla it comes with can be better. We did love our iced coffees and the ambiance. We will be back again

Lots of business people post up out here working or taking meetings, which makes it lively. Whenever I've been in, service has been friendly and I've never had an issue. The coffee is yummy and so are the pastries, and my little one is obsessed with their gelato. Milk options are great too, though they do upcharge for them, which is a minor gripe at most. I mostly stick to lattes, but their signature and seasonal drinks are worth branching out for. The coconut cloud matcha in particular is incredible. They also have an app with a loyalty program, which is a small but appreciated bonus for regulars. This is actually their flagship location, and they roast their own beans on site, so you can watch the roasting process happen while you sip your drink, a fun detail most people probably walk right past. Only real gripe is that they close at 2pm on weekends, which is exactly when I usually swing by. Wish they'd push it to 3pm. A girl can dream.

I visited Japan late last year and it was the best travel experience of my life, so to have a little slice of it here in my little town of Laguna Niguel is so special. And it's open early enough for the Finance Girls! The word that comes to mind is authentic. The barrels of beans waiting to be roasted in the front, the minimal menu, the pour-over style coffee for every cup, the chic industrious decor, super friendly service from every barista. It's hard for me to want to make coffee at home when I can have this! Worth every penny. Can't wait to gift my loved ones with bags of their freshly roasted beans. Do not sleep on Maméya!

Genuinely surprised I haven't left a review sooner. It's a small, quaint shop with a clean and mellow interior, relaxing jazz playing in the background, and aroma of freshly brewed coffee that always transports me back to Japan. Daisuke and his team greet everyone with such genuine warmth that you immediately feel welcomed. Their hospitality is unmatched, but what keeps me coming back is the consistency. Every drink is made with care, and they're always happy to take the time to explain the differences between their beans, recommend something based on your preferences, and answer any questions without ever making you feel rushed. You can tell they truly care about both their craft and their customers. I usually order the café au lait, and it's the only coffee shop where I'm confident in asking them to make it however they like. Every now and then I'll also pick up a bag of their beans to brew at home, and I highly recommend doing the same. They carefully help you choose from their wide variety, then grind the beans for you or sell them whole if you have your own grinder. Grinding fresh beans takes about 15-20 minutes, so if you're driving from farther away, I'd recommend calling ahead or placing an order through their website for pickup. The quality of the coffee speaks for itself, but what really sets this place apart is the experience. It's rare to find a coffee shop where both the product and the people are this consistently exceptional. Where most coffee shops tend to rush you out I think the difference here is that you genuinely feel welcomed. Wishing Daisuke and the entire team nothing but continued success. They deserve every bit of it. If you're looking for incredible coffee, authentic Japanese hospitality, and a place that genuinely cares about what they serve, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't regret it.

The vibe is cozy and welcoming, with a steady buzz of customers that shows just how popular this spot is. My fiancé got the iced sweet cream latte and absolutely loved it! smooth, perfectly balanced sweetness, and the espresso was top-notch. I went with the iced Americano topped with banana cold foam, and wow, it was a game changer! The banana foam was creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet, pairing beautifully with the bold espresso. Both drinks were prepared and refreshed us instantly. The only minor downside is parking, which can be a bit tricky, but the location is clearly thriving with tons of foot traffic and business out front, so it's totally understandable. Once you're inside, the excellent drinks and friendly service more than make up for it. Comes with a cold brew, etc etc. But after I walked away, 3 of her colleagues came up to chat and show pictures. As they were chatting I heard her say "I ain't got time for cold brew" and look directly at me. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and initially thought it was good. Their coffee and drinks are pretty simple and on the more plain side. Personally, I thought the coffee could have been stronger, especially since I usually drink coffee for the caffeine and expect it to give me a little more of a boost. Unfortunately, by the time I got home, I was only halfway through my coffee when my stomach started hurting pretty badly, and I ultimately ended up spending much longer in the bathroom than I would have liked. I drink coffee pretty frequently (probably five out of seven days a week) and I generally don't have this kind of reaction to the different coffees I drink. I also hadn't consumed anything besides water this morning, so I'm fairly confident the coffee was what upset my stomach. My biggest concern is that if I had gotten this coffee before heading to work and had the same reaction, I would have been cooked. Thankfully, today was my day off. Aside from that experience, the shop itself has plenty of seating, and the staff is very friendly. It's really unfortunate that I had such a bad reaction to the coffee because, otherwise, I didn't have any major complaints about the place.
