Damaged Furniture and Failed to Deliver We hired Elite Anywhere to deliver and install an furniture to our condo. Despite saying before the contract was signed they could meet the COI requirements and us paying for a site survey cost of over a $100 where they confirmed everything would fit, they've been unable to complete the delivery after multiple attempts over 6+ months. The issues started when they first attempted delivery in June. The delivery crew arrived and damaged our furniture but left without properly communicating with us about needing help, even though we were available to assist. They then tried to charge us additional fees for a second delivery attempt. Communication has been consistently poor - they've attempted deliveries outside of confirmed time windows, failed to coordinate properly with building management about required insurance (COI), and made delivery attempts without confirming our availability. They also tried to retroactively charge storage fees after previously agreeing to waive them. After 6+ months, over a $1000, and countless emails and phone calls, we still don't have our furniture properly delivered and installed. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company if you need delivery or installation services. The experience has been nothing but headaches and broken promises. read more

This may have been a reputable company in the past, but if you look at the reviews after 2020 almost every client is displeased. The staff is confusing, you are on an email chain with no less than 7 people, and somehow still can't get a clear answer. I found Elite Anywhere to be unreasonable with the nuances of the human experience. Zero accountability or understanding on their end, acting more like robots than people, I am leaving feeling unheard and treated as no more than a dollar sign. They lost an item never to be found, moved warehouses in the middle of a project and instead of keeping someone on site to direct crates already in progress, large pieces of furniture were sent back to the dock. This caused tracking issues and fees to rack up on other items in the warehouse while we waited for the mishap to work itself out and the invoices kept coming. They changed their payment structure mid-project and ran my credit card constantly. All in all, I was charged $4300 for the storage and delivery of 4 pieces of furniture. Sofas arrived damaged and I spent over $1000 storing the furniture they said was broken beyond repair. Months of confusion and headaches dealing with countless employees on the same email chain passing the ball to the next person. They do not care about your situation, they take zero responsibility for anything. When I approached to find a middle ground for the thousands of dollars spent on storing a broken sofa, there was no discussion. I had already paid my invoices in full and they could not have cared less. This was by far the most frustrating and unacceptable experience with a service company for my business in a very long time. Had an En Gold Delivery. Difficulty with scheduling. Booked month in advance and still changed it last minute with no conversation. Then was difficult to reschedule. Jessica was the contact person. Then later, Edgar, a driver who seemed nice, hit the door frame while he rushed into the room by carrying two items at once...he then lied to me and then to the company. He falsely had me sign for delivery but filled in elements I did not know were there as it was on a screen (didn't know there was more to the document). Jessica then passive aggressively dropped the ball. I asked at minimum for an apology from Edgar for lying and misleading and fraudulently filling out a document, and then an apology from Jessica/company for how they followed up on the situation. A new company rep named Aissa reached out . The company then has not replied back and it has been a few weeks. Terrible company. read more

If I could select 0 starts I will do that. We've been using other carrier services, but never experienced such an unprofessional and worst services. We paid a lot of money for what was supposed to be white gloves delivery, we have to call and leave messages almost every day for three weeks just to have the item picked up from the warehouse. Three weeks later, they finally picked it up, but we still don't know when the item will be delivered to the client. We are just passed from one person to another and they apparently still working on...Our client is very frustrated, we are extremly frustrated... Awesome delivery service! Had a window from 11am - 2pm which was not a big deal since they give you a courtesy call 30 minutes prior to arrival. On this particular day they were ahead of schedule and asked if it would be OK to deliver before 11...worked for me! Anyway, the two guys that delivered my coffee table from Restoration Hardware were extremely professional, friendly and fast! I'll admit that table was a bit heavy and bulky, but they used extreme care when placing it in our great room. 5 stars all the way!!! read more

I have waited a long time to write this review, hoping that the management team at Elite Anywhere would rectify the situation. We've been working with them for over a year on furniture storage and delivery for my new home. They've repeatedly delivered items they were not supposed to, keep poor records of what has been delivered, and then when you try to get things resolved, have awful communication. I've tried working with all of their leaders and continuously get passed around, with no resolution. The latest fiasco is that the delivery drivers stained my chairs by not using gloves. Its been weeks with no resolution. I'd like to specifically call out Robert and Ned. Robert is supposed to be the overall leader of the group. He very rarely answers emails, and when he finally does, simply adds Ned into a thread where he was already copied, and took no action. Overall extremely disappointed and I might have to pursue legal action if I can't get a resolution soon. read more

I love some of the reviews about this company which helped me want to potentially use them for my shipping needs. I got onto their website and completed the "contact us" form. I included all of the information I thought they would need to be able to send a quote. Instead, about an hour later I received an email from Johnny asking for details of my item and shipment in order for him to provide me an estimate. Well that was over 5 days ago. I've sent numerous emails back to him along with leaving a voice mail message trying to get a quote and time frame. I've received ZERO response back. I ended up going with another shipment company who was extremely responsive and professional. Professionalism either isn't their strong point or they are very disorganized. Either way, if this is how you conduct business, I can't imagine using them to actually ship my furniture. read more

Last Friday (Sep, 17) somebody called me from Elite Anywhere and told me my delivery will be Tuesday (Sep, 21) in the time window between 12pm and 3pm. I was very happy that at least somebody contacted me and delivery is scheduled. This Tuesday I was waiting for delivery starting from 11:50am until 5pm and nobody came with the order. I have received couple sms saying "your order will be delivered today...", "your order will be delivered in 1 hour...", "your order will be delivered in 10 min....", but then i got one more sms from scheduling@eliteanywhere.com, that their truck is broken (really ?....hm...) and they can't find replacement so late at that time, they will reach me tomorrow (Wednesday, September, 22) to inform me what is the first available date for delivery, but nobody call or send me email/sms Wednesday nor until today (Friday, September 24). read more

My experience was just like Jacob L's below - used this company for furniture delivery of high-end pieces (to the Hayward warehouse for the SF Bay Area); currently, there are a number of items that were delivered almost a month ago that they still haven't been able to provide whereabouts or inspection photos of. I'm shocked that I am still stuck sending emails every few days about these pieces with no response. Would not recommend. To make matters worse -- I attempted to have the furniture delivered before I left town, but the day before it was supposed to be delivered I asked why the majority of my items were not listed in their computer system -- they told me there had been a 'bug' in the system, which meant that my furniture delivery could not be completed as scheduled. Still haven't finished getting my items from them, however I have now completely stopped sending them any new items, because I'm terrified that more pieces will get lost in the void. An Elite team delivered my new Tempo exercise machine. I received a 3 hour window. I also received an ETA about 45 minutes before they were set to arrive. I felt very informed and appreciated their prompt arrival. The team itself wore masks. They put the machine together outside and carried it in, took about 10 minutes. Only one team member stayed in the house and completed set up. He let me know where the power button was (slightly hidden) and explained some of the equipment. I run an Interior Design firm, so naturally I need a third party to receive, inspect, and deliver many, many items. I used Elite Anywhere a couple years ago for a commercial project and was very happy with them and their service at the time, so when my now usual installer wasn't available for one of my clients install dates, thinking back to my past experience I called them. Everything was ok until the delivery guys showed up at my house, two old men, (very nice, but clearly not physically suitable for the job at hand) and the FIRST thing they asked me, in front of my client, "What are we doing here?" As a professional interior designer who has done hundreds of installs I'm thinking WHAT?! I & my client paid for white glove delivery so that was a HUGE red flat. Their initial comment, a sea of complaints from them about how it was too hard, improperly assembled furniture, paired with phone calls from both their warehouse manager calling me a liar and swearing at me and the overall staff manager who acted like he could give a cares less about the situation and the optics of how it made me look in front of my client pissed me off to no end. I offered to pay for the warehousing but asked for a refund on the delivery portion, as their men didn't stay the minimum of four hours that I paid for, and I had to pay another company to come in and reassemble all the furniture they put together wrong because it wasn't safe. They refused to give me any time of refund or even say sorry, so if you have any sense of protection for your reputation as an interior designer STAY FAR AWAY FROM ANYWHERE ELITE. I would have never paid for the horrible service i received had they not demanded a full payment upfront. Custom made etc.... they lost pieces, did not keep us updated and forgot to put us in the computer so largely messed up our project..... their communication is zero. October 13, 2022 STAY AWAY!! As a practicing interior designer for the past 52 years with over 400 projects completed throughout the United States and aboard, I have never encountered a freight company as negligent and unresponsive as Elite Anywhere. Elite was hired at a cost to me of more than $1,700.00 to insure, pick up, wrap, crate and ship a custom armchair from the vendor located in Los Angeles to our receiver in Chicago. Upon receipt at the Chicago warehouse, the chair was uncrated and unwrapped for inspection. It was noted that both arms of the chair were broken off and no longer attached to the chair frame. There was no damage to the wood crate or packing, just the chair. Elite Anywhere was informed of the damage and provided photos to substantiate the damage and claim filed. As part of the claim process, we asked the custom upholsterer we use in Chicago, to assess the damage and offer both an opinion and estimate to repair the broken arms. Their assessment was that even if the chair was repaired it was highly likely, due to the chair design, that the repair would fail. A fact made know to our client who had paid approximately $10,000.00 for the chair and finds a repair job as not an acceptable solution. After one month dealing with Elite Anywhere, their only resolution to the matter was to repair the chair despite the fact the chair was insured for its full value. To resolve this matter in my and my client's best interest I've had to involve an attorney who will be filing a lawsuit against Elite Anywhere read more

The Elite guys did a wonderful job of moving my furniture, removing the old rugs, installing the new rugs and rug pads, and moving back all the furniture to the correct place. If I could give 0 stars I would. "Elite" is the worst moving company I've ever used for countless reasons. I relocated from San Diego to LA April 2015 and needed a company that would store my items for a few months. It seemed like a natural fit, but this place is a rip-off. I was quoted a price by the sales department, and was told drive time would start when they showed up. I also had that statement confirmed over email. The guys showed up about an hour late, & took their sweet time. One of the movers used the toilet and backed it up, wo fixing it himself. It took 4 hours to put everything in my 2-bed condo into the truck. 2 hour drive to Torrance (double drive time adds 2 hours). I made the mistake of NOT following them to the warehouse to unload everything. They took advantage of that fact and ran my card for what computed to 12hours of total work ($1800). I asked for an itemized receipt and never got one. The operations manager, Mr Sabo, said sales department was wrong and drive time started when they left in the AM. He swore up and down that it took them 4 hours to unload my things. Keep in mind that it took 4 hours to meticulously pack all of my items in 3-story condo (which also needed to go down an elevator to get to truck). But they can pull truck right up to warehouse where they store items in wood crates. There's no way that could be possible. When I talked to Sabo about the higher bill he became argumentative and defensive. He told me to send the email from sales about the drive time and he'd credit me for 2 hours (or $360). Never happened. To make matters worse they ruined my desk and needed to purchase another one. They broke a door and left a giant gouge on my nice entertainment stand (which I said was my most valued item). Ripped the back of my leather love seat, and my upholstered couch has 2 giant rug-burn looking dings in it. When I brought this up Sabo became argumentative (even though most of the damage was noted on the inventory sheet). For a frame of reference, I just used Excalibur moving and total time was 4 hours to pack and unload my things. It was a neighborhood move w/ no drive time, but my items are exactly the same. Would highly advise against using this business. I initially inquired about having a sofa delivered from Irvine, CA to NYC. I was very forthcoming with my desire to have the sofa delivered quickly. I was informed it would be expedited in 5-10 days and the price was reflective of this. I selected this company as it seemed to be reputable. Well well well, this was one of the most ridiculous fiascos I've ever encountered. After over 50+ emails, the sofa was over 20 days later than the paid timeframe. I've never had to chase so many times to find out where the sofa was. I was lied to and told it was on its way when all along it was sitting in the warehouse in California. I was spoken to aggressively by a number of the staff. Multiple changes in staff to cover this account as no one seemed to have answers. On the day the couch was delivered two men arrived. I had a video showing how the couch went together as it is a difficult vintage piece. They decided to try it their own way and didn't put it together properly, the back seats were loose and fell off. I had to book a rabbit tasker at my own expense to come and put it together. Not only does the white-glove service not exist within this company the removalists forged my signature after "finishing the task" to say I signed off on the job. This was not the case. When speaking to the head office they told me I had signed my signature on an iPad. Not once did I see an Ipad or any paperwork. Prior to delivery, the team had agreed to issue a partial refund due to how late the shipment was. I received an email today saying they would not be issuing a refund at all. When I told Vesna from the NY office that it was not put together properly and I was spoken to rudely by the removalists...One of them got right up in my face multiple times and kept yelling "Lady I don't want to fight" she asked me if I had filmed them behaving like this. I replied that I would never film anyone, especially without their consent as she was implying..this was just such a strange thing to say about your colleagues/employees. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I've never been spoken to on the phone with such disrespect as I was with the first guy Johnny who booked in this shipment. As an intelligent and hardworking woman, I don't enjoy being spoken to like I'm an idiot. Disgusted. read more
