After giving up on the fact that I'd do all this work myself I started looking for moving companies LAST MINUTE. (When I say last minute, I mean I had only a couple of hours to pack everything, and move it out and into a storage). When I explained this to the guys @ Anywayz Moving, they really went over and beyond to make sure they sent extra men, and did everything SO fast. I was really in shock. I timed them. what I started to do two weeks prior, they finished in about 30mins. Broke down my bed, packed it up so nicely, wrapped everything in so securely, TV, everything. I'm writing this review as an update to my previous. I reported something had gone wrong with my move and also that I felt pressured to leave a much bigger tip at the end of the move than I had anticipated; When Victor heard about it, he reached out to me personally via text and apologized for the situation. He immediately wanted to refund me the whole tip that I paid. I called him back and let him know that this was not necessary, I believe in tipping for a job well done, but it just felt a bit awkward being pressured to tip more than I had anticipated, even after what I thought was an already generous tip. He heard my side of the story and I ended up accepting a partial refund. We had basically 30 days to move out of our previous apartment because they were updating our lease and we had to go through the stressful process of finding a new place in the competitive LA rental market and moving out of our 1800-square-foot apartment within 30 days. The communication leading up to the move was amazing and I received a glowing recommendation from someone who had used this company previously. The 3 guys who showed up were professional, efficient, and fast. The move itself went really well, but I initially had hesitancy recommending this company because of what happened with the tip situation and the end of the move. Based on Victor's professionalism and care of the situation, I can confidently say that I will be booking them the next time I move (hopefully not for a long time). read more

The crew was efficient, pleasant and STRONG! They dealt with so so so many stairs, and a crazy narrow stairway, with no complaints or mishaps. I even learned some Russian! Unfortunately, the truck was not large enough to transport everything from our 3 bedroom townhouse, and, in order to avoid having to pay for a second trip (another $400-$600), we ended up having to rent a small truck and move the rest ourselves ($80). Thank goodness for family willing to help! If they had loaded our furniture before our boxes, we could have transported the boxes in our cars. Even though they brought all of the remaining items down to the garage, it was another long day of packing and moving, rather than a day spent unpacking our new house. Despite having clear, color-coded labels on 95% of our boxes, we discovered at least 30 boxes (with the color-coded labels) that were not placed in the correct rooms. This was very disappointing and required many unexpected trips upstairs to put everything where it belonged. This really isn't what you want to have to do on top of unpacking, especially after moving an entire 10' truckload of stuff ourselves! All in all it was a decent moving experience. The movers were all very nice and they worked very hard the entire 8 hours. They took good care not to damage the brand new floors, and they did not break or lose any of our belongings. You can likely avoid some of the issues we had by having them visit your home or send pictures to determine what's needed for your move, make sure they pack your furniture first. and maybe provide a floor plan with color coding to match your labels, as well as color-coded signs on the rooms so you don't end up having to move so many things yourself after paying for movers. read more

It was easy planning with the Anywayz moving team. Initially they gave a 2 hour window of arrival but we're flexible and able to lock down a 9am start. The team ( 2 guys) that arrived were welcoming and had the general covid-19 protections in place. They both communicated well and took great care of my possessions. It took longer than expected, but I don't think this was fault of the team, probably the length of time from my apartment (3rd floor) to the truck, noting the elevator is on the other side of the building. I just moved from west LA to downtown and hired Anywayz Movers. They gave me a great quote and gave me an estimate for 3 hours because I had told them I would only require their services for most likely that amount of time since I had moved all my smaller items and clothes myself and really needed the movers to just transport my furniture pieces. I was so wrong because even when I had thought I did all I could to prepare for a quick move, I did not take into account that the furniture had to be disassembled before being loaded, which they happily did for me (and reassembled later). Even with their hard work it took more than double the amount of time I had anticipated, and I knew they had another shift later on in the day, and I felt bad but they trucked on with absolutely zero complaints and did a great job.
