My fiance and I used Let's Move It Right to move from a one bedroom apartment in West LA to a larger apartment near Culver City. They showed up on time and began moving our furniture after some quick paperwork. The truck they brought was MUCH larger than I expected, and had plenty of room for everything. (Do note for parking reasons that it's a huge truck with a trailer). We had a bunch of furniture and a number of boxes. Not only did they carry all our boxes out, but they also helped dissemble and reassemble some of our large furniture like our bedframe to get it into the new place. The move was pretty quick; we ended up coming in under the 4 hour minimum so our cost was very reasonable. The employees were very friendly and communicated well with us, making sure to put furniture in the rooms we wanted it in. They did a fantastic job with trying to place things near where we'd want them. The only negative that I feel like I have to mention to be fair is that they did cause some very minor damage. One of our wooden cubbies got chipped, and when they disassembled our bed they dropped one of the pieces and dented the moulding in our old apartment. However, this was very minor, I just wanted to point it out to give the constructive criticism that the employees should take just a little more care with moving stuff. All in all, this was a great experience and I would absolutely hire Let's Move It Right again next time I'm moving. read more

Tom handled the details over the phone, movers arrived 10 minutes early day of, packed and moved within 2.5 hours, special thanks to Jose and Rico for literally doing the work double-time and saving my back in the process. Added bonus is the Yelp promo which saved me some dinero overall. Labor/moving costs is $65 per hour, 3 hour minimum, so with the coupon... you do the math on how much it cost. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY !!! I'm giving them 1 star because on the phone Tom was helpful when setting up the time and date. The day of the move I woke up to find out that my credit/debit card number had been stolen, knowing that they don't take checks I called them immediately to let them know my card had been canceled and because it was so early I couldn't get to the bank so I asked them if I could please write a check. Their person that answered the phone checked with a supervisor and was ok'd to accept the check. When the driver showed up with the 2 movers he tells me that there is no way he is taking a check without confirming that I had called the office. He said that I could possibly close the account after writing the check....I was only moving 3 miles away and he had my information....really? Canceling account after he moved my furniture? I didn't take offense but I did tell him he would have to follow me to the bank after the move. They proceeded to start moving my stuff and when they got to my bedroom furniture I did very clearly tell them that the main reason for them being there was because of my beloved furniture. I have worked hard for it so I even went as far as emptying the dresser so it was not as heavy. I stayed out of the way and never questioned the driver who took several cigarette breaks during the move. They managed to move stuff out and scratched my refrigerator which I watched them do but didn't say anything because it is a big refrigerator and it's 15 years old. The driver even took a bird cage that I was throwing out(took it out of the trash),I thought it was not professional. I had moved a lot of my stuff myself so they didn't have a lot to move.The driver set up my bedroom furniture...not exactly screwed on properly but figured I would fix it myself, when I did and started fixing and centering things I noticed that they damaged my dresser. I emailed Tom...he didn't respond right away but when he did he asked me to email a picture of the dresser. I did and didn't hear back for a couple of days, finally I did and he said that he would talk to the movers. I didn't hear back right away and now I get a letter in the mail stating that the mover said the dresser was already damaged. I don't understand why he would lie....fear of getting fired maybe? I think he should have taken a picture and I should have done the same before they started moving anything. I think it's BS.....I'm a honest person and believe in customer service. My furniture was bought brand new and when it was delivered it was placed in the same spot these movers moved it from....no way that it was damaged before as I never moved it..... I'm very disappointed because I was given two options by phone and now I get a letter stating they are not responsible for the damage. Nothing was damages, not a scratch or crack to be found, the team of movers were professional and courteous and super helpful. I had to make an additional stop to put some things in storage and they totally made sure to wrap it right for storage as well. I know people have moving horror stories and yes moving is the worst, but with Let's Move It Right I have to tell you that at least I didn't have to worry about the move. Itself. They showed on time and didn't mess around. I've been recommending them to everyone I know and I urge others to use them. I have used this company several times to move my stuff over the years. The folks who work here do a great job. I have never had any serious issues with stuff broken or any items getting abused. Our last move was not good. It took 2 guys 10 hours to move our stuff across town and it cost big $$$. My previous moves have been a 3rd of this price, but I think the movers were not happy with their jobs. Not my fault. So I called to complain about the total and explained to them that I have used them several times in the past. They looked up my info and agreed. I asked for a better discount and some refund due to the overall cost. Their excuse was, you should have told us up front you needed more people. That is BS. You should know this ahead of time and plan for the worst. The non-gentlemen I talked to on the phone was very passive-aggressive. Hey man, I'm the customer! I have to say after that conversation and the little refund they gave me, I will look elsewhere. I hope you are reading this LMIR. The guy who answered the phone should learn some customer service. I've used them on moves for years. My most recent move, this Fall, was a joint move w my girl, in which they moved her out of her apartment, came to my apartment and moved all of my things, then moved both our stuff into our new place (up a flight of stairs to our second floor unit.) They're quick, great with big lifts, odd sizes, and delicate things. I have a large collection of books (heavy), and on multiple moves, they've never had any issues boxing and moving them out. Cesar, Carlos & Gero did an amazing job moving us out of our apartment and into our new home. They were so fast, packed up all our loose ends for us and handled everything with care. I own these huge stone basins that weigh 400 lbs each and they manage to wrap them, get them on the truck and unloaded at the new place with no problem. Point being, they can get you moved even your most difficult items. The price was really reasonable and I would def. recommend these guys for your next move. read more

THis was and is my worst experience moving. This company has morons running it in the valley. They have my items going cross country and I have been waiting three weeks. They also under quoted and now want twice as much money for my stuff. This is horrible. They go by three different names: Lets move, eden relocation and ASAP moving. ITs the same people but they have three names. I wonder why. To get more business from the same people they had before. The manager David is so rude and condesending. First off, I want to make it clear that this company did not actually move anything for me. They came to my storage unit, and when I discovered their dishonesty, I sent them home. So, this review isn't about their moving services, but rather, their customer service. I think it's important that people know what they're signing up for when they hire this company. Here's what happened: My storage unit is pretty small, so when I conferred with the company on the phone, I told them multiple times it wouldn't take more than 2 hours to move it to my new apartment, which was about 15 minutes away. At no point did the woman on the phone inform me that they required a 4-hour minimum. (I'm assuming because she knew I wouldn't arrange the move if I knew about it.) When the movers arrived at the storage unit and mentioned the 4-hour minimum, I told them I wasn't aware of it. I called the office, and they told me that was the policy and they couldn't do anything about it. I told them I wanted to cancel the move and asked for my $100 deposit back. In addition to being rude, they said they were going to keep my deposit -- even though the movers hadn't done any work. I was pretty upset and sent the movers (who were very nice, btw) home. I called back the next day to insist upon my refund. I spoke with someone else who said they would arrange for it. It's been 2 weeks, and it still hasn't shown up on my credit card. I called back today, and they apologized for the delay and said they would issue it today. We shall see if it actually happens. Regardless of my refund, please be aware that this company has some dishonest practices and will indeed insist upon a 4-hour minimum. I, for one, will not be calling them again. read more

GREAT MOVING services!!! A few tips BEFORE you are ready to bring the movers... 1. Preparedness - Make sure everything that is going to be moved should be READY for loading - pre-pack everything else neatly and safely with boxes and seal with shipping tape. We packed everything ourselves that didn't require them to pack for us... They will wrap or box up large items, furniture or fragile items i.e. furniture, mirrors or flat screens, etc. Having everything prepared ahead of time will greatly affect how much time it will take to move and load everything - that's half of the job! 2. Wardrobe boxes - I believe these were at extra charge as well as the other disposable supplies they offer. Just in case you do need anything extra, the supplies are all affixed inside the moving truck which is also stocked with extra tape, boxes, plastic wrap or blankets. We ended up having to buy the extra supplies, however we didn't use the wardrobe boxes. We needed to spring clean our closets out - so we purged the old stuff and pre-packed the ones that were going to be coming with us to the new house. 3. Time - They showed up right on time but we ended up doubling the moving time due to the amount of stuff we had to move plus, on the commute there were extra traffic due to accidents on the freeway. It was 35 miles between our loading location to our final destination. Next time, we will ask if they have an all-day rate, which may have be less than an hourly... With that said, we weren't completely finished with unpacking when they arrived, 4. Professionalism & Competence - they worked quickly, efficiently and diligently the entire day. They didn't waste any time and they were on-point with communication. 5. Handling - During unloading, they asked us where they wanted things positioned.. they helped us place all the furniture accordingly. We weren't completely packed yet but they jumped in and helped us pack everything up safely, meticulously & loaded all of our boxes & furniture carefully into their huge moving truck. They wrapped and boxed up our larger fragile items i.e. flat screens, mirrors & glass. 6. Vehicle & Transportation - Their moving truck was a lot larger than the standard, in fact we thought it was huge when they showed up but it turned out It was the perfect size, we filled it up! Whenever you move, just keep in mind you may potentially underestimate how much stuff you have! I would definitely use these guys again in the future. Thank you for a job well - done! read more

I hired Let's Move It because of the two very positive reviews on the website. By the way the other two had been raving, I figured I was in safe hands. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant and very helpful. He quoted me a rate of $65 an hour for 3 hours minimum, and then roughly $16.50 per every 15 min. This would include truck, 2 movers, and boxes. They would show up between 1-3Pm. They called me two days beforehand to confirm again that the movers would be there between 1-3PM and they promised to call day of to confirm the actual time. The day we moved I waited for the phone call and wound up having to call them instead. The gentleman I spoke with claimed my number had been written down incorrectly in the computer system, which I called bull on since these guys had called me twice before. The movers showed up 1/2 an hour late, which was irksome more because of my experience with the gentleman on the phone. The two movers, while very nice, insisted on packing up everything that my roommate and I had not pack (for a reason) - this was fine with some stuff we just hadn't gotten too, not fine with stuff we did not want touched (like my backpack containing my laptop- which was crammed into a box with a ton of other stuff and is now damaged.) One of the gentleman was extremely condescending, trying to assure us that we were in good hands and to not worry about anything while at the same time not listening to us we pointed out that a box had "fragile" written all over it. The entire move took 5 hours and considering we were moving from our old apartment to two different places (one in NoHo, the other in Burbank) I was grateful the total was well under $500. However, the condescending mover complained the entire time, with huge exclamations of "Oh My God, are you kidding me?" when he found out that my apartment was up two flights of stairs (a fact I had mentioned several times before.) It was very awkward for my roommate and I. It also took much longer because they took out some of my roommates boxes to move into my apartment, despite being told six or seven times that those boxes were not going into my apartment (all of my roommate's stuff had been marked with huge strips of red tape.) Again- they just didn't listen to us. They did get our stuff there and it didn't break the bank. They earn 3 stars for that. Would I use them again? No. I'd prefer to find a moving company that will listen to me so I can make sure my furniture gets to my house and my laptop isn't touched (and subsequently damaged.) read more

We used this moving company twice now! The first time was stressful because it was a longer move and ended up costly because of that double-time! However, the movers packed the items incredibly well with boxes and plastic. We put it in storage....and now 6 months later, we used the movers again! This move was very short, so it was a lot less! Thank goodness! Cesar, was the foreman, again for this move. He's very quick and efficient. During the first move, we only had Cesar plus one other mover...this move, we had Cesar plus two other movers (due to stairs). They were surprisingly fast despite the stairs! I was very worried about this move for weeks and was pleasantly relieved after Cesar and his team helped make this move as stress-free as possible. The movers packed the remaining loose items I had not put into boxes or suitcases and lifted everything, including a heavy bed and fridge into their moving trucks and unloaded at my destination very rapidly. Liko (foreman), Joel, Peter, & Eden = amazing. I called on Thursday for a move on Monday for a local LA move (Venice to Santa Monica). Liko was the head guy and ran point on all three days of my move. He is the hardest working guy I've seen. His whole crew worked non-stop. I had to beg them to take a short lunch break (not kidding). I had 3 guys pack all my stuff and then 4 to move it the next day. I would highly recommend Liko to run a project for you. They did a thoughtful job packing and wrapping everything and were very careful in transit. They came in packed everything, loaded, unloaded and even helped me place my furniture where I wanted them without a single bump in the road! That means quite a lot to me considering I had been worried for months while reading and researching moving companies. I've used Let's Move It! several times now and I am always relieved to have them help me. They are always 15 minutes early and make the move happen as quick and as easy as possible. Julian has always been the leader of the guys and I am always glad to see him be the one. This last time he had Benjamin and Martin on his team and all three of them were very nice, hustled and worked hard! They even helped pack a few things for us and handle everything with care. If you are looking for a long distance quality mover.. DONT CALL THIS COMPANY.. the experience started off amazing which is why I originally chose them but once my furniture was picked up it was all down hill and horrible customer service from there.. Tom quoted me a price based on weight only.. never mentioned cubic feet. I even gave him the estimated weight I had from another company so he could be more accurate. Once the movers arrived I was told it would be 1k more than he quoted due to the cubic feet, which is charged at a much higher rate.. (I was later told they always underestimate as they are bonused out on the overage - hope you enjoyed your bonus TOM) I called with an address for furniture delivery. Two weeks later my items STILL WERE IN THE WAREHOUSE. I literally had to call everyday as each time I would call they would have no answers for me. I ended up buying items so my family and I could make it by and it was suggested by Val that I keel my receipts.. not so they could reimburse me but rather so I could return everything after I used it! She specifically told me target takes everything back. Not only gross but completely tacky! While still waiting on my furniture I called and emailed to request that the owner David personally call me as his staff could never seem to have answers and would always have to wait on him. NEVER received a call from David despite several attempts.. I was told he was too busy. I'm in customer service and when someone specifically requests the manager get back to them then the manager should call them back! Especially when someone is spending thousands of dollars to patronize your business. I even sent a really nice email explaining how I felt taken advantage of and no response from David. Only a call from Tom telling me they can take $250 off a 7k move. Gee thanks.. Fast forward to when my furniture finally arrives almost a month later and surprise surprise.. My largest tv is missing.. all of my fans are broken..three lamps are broken.. and I received a large bin of someone else's things! Again I call and no one has answers but will get back to me.. Guess what.. no one has called.. Let's move it you have made this move the worst experience ever. You should have more pride and integrity in the service you offer. I am a property manager and could have referred you a ton of business but instead I will let people know don't waste their time or money as you guys simply don't care! They wrapped all of our furniture really well, they hustled, and they even helped us get all the "extras" that didn't make it into boxes. Nice, friendly and professional people. When we sold our house, we have not closed on the new house yet and I could not give a definite date on our move, but the guys from "Let's Move It Right" were very patient and penciled us in for possible dates. They were very flexible and accommodated our needs and made us feel like we are their only customer during that time. As for the movers, they are very professional and knows a lot. They have packed our piano, big screen TVs, Glass Table Tops, etc! Ergon was the team lead when we moved out of the old house and Lico was the lead when we moved in to the new house. Both guys and their teams are awesome and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Overall, moving can be very stressful, "Let's Move It Right" has the right people at a good price. - Appointment for 2 pm, Arrived at 6pm. No compensation - told a 2 bedroom apt would take around 2 hours to move. (Took 5.5 hours) - 3 movers who appeared tired from a day of moving. - move from 3rd floor apartment to 3rd floor apartment. Stairs involved and let the company know of the situation and to be prepared for the stairs. - Main mover upset and complained constantly about the stairs and how hard it was. "Why do you live on the third floor, it's Stupid" i believe were his words at one point. - Told no charge for fuel. Charged for fuel. - Assembled bed in the wrong room at destination. Guilted into leaving it. Whined and actually raised his voice towards us when we ultimately told him we wanted it switched to the correct room at no charge. - Do not enjoy being charged for smoke breaks - Yelled at by the company when we called to give a review of performance In my opinion if you are a moving crew and you are aware that stairs are involved and that heavy objects ie refrigerators will need to be moved, THEN DON'T COMPLAIN! Thats your job. Please do not make me feel guilty for having you do your job. On the positive side, once they submitted to doing the work requested they did do a good job in eventually getting it correct. The two subordinate workers worked hard and without complaint. Furniture was packed well and wrapped with solid protection. Cared to not dirty up the carpet in the new apartment by laying down blankets on the stairs. Bottom line. If they would have had a better attitude towards their job and maybe had they been fresh on the job rather than coming from another move that took 4 hours longer than estimated, it may have been OK. Maybe they should get a better idea of what is going to be moved before the team arrives and is shocked at how much is being moved. I don't understand why I should feel guilty telling the movers I would like something taken to the 3rd floor, or a huge sigh when I try and direct the man how I would like to move or change the location of items. I certainly don't appreciate it when the mover tells me its stupid to live in a larger home or on the 3rd floor.... I would not recommend this company to friends... Moving is never fun, but these guys made the difference. I haven't moved in 12 years and had 16,000 pounds of stuff. But these guys made it almost fun. Fast, polite, and professional they did the job that other companies said could not be done in one day without an extra shuttle truck (which means more time and more money). Not one of my items got scratched or nicked or bumped. The best move I have ever encountered and I have moved plenty. I reccomend these guys for any job, large or small they know what they are doing and they really helped with all the anxiety that leads up to a move. I like that Tom answered my questions and was thorough. I like that the price was reasonable and the move happened seamlessly. What I did NOT like was that one of the movers was hitting on me and asked me for my phone number, whether or not I lived alone, where my boyfriend was and why he wasn't helping, and how much I pay for rent in my new place and my old place. What I did NOT like was that the other mover shook me down for all the cash I had in my wallet rather than wait for me to offer a tip. Both of those things were unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. I would like to say that I would use this service again and even recommend them because the move itself went so well but I felt very vulnerable and deceived by the movers themselves and I didn't appreciate it one bit. To add insult to injury... a representative Joseph, from the company called me to apologize for the mishap. I really appreciated Joseph's gesture but was unable to call back immediately. I returned the call during the week and spoke to a different gentleman, David who offered to compensate me if I would delete this unfortunate review. I really thought they were calling in earnest to make things right but David was barely listening to a word I was saying, telling me instead that they are a professional company with a good reputation for over 17 years and the men who moved me had been there for 10 years and they too are professionals. My discomfort with the situation seemed to not be of any consequence, only that I had submitted a bad yelp review. I told him I wasnt seeking to have anyone fired just trained to conduct themselves more appropriately on jobs. Professionals dont beg. Professionals dont point at the clients wallet and ask for the cash that they can see in it when she pulls out her credit card to pay for services. He got a measly 7 bux. I had already given him a TV. Professionals dont hit on the clients nor ask for their phone numbers AFTER they've been told that the client has a boyfriend. Professionals do NOT ask clients personal, invasive questions that don't pertain to the business at hand. David told me that they train their employees to ask for tips so be aware that this behavior of begging or harassing for a tip or a bigger tip is an acceptable practice here. My wife and I hired Let's Move It Right after reading some Yelp reviews, and they were great! They moved us out of our 2-story apt. into our new 1-story condo in a fast, efficient and courteous manner. We had a big, heavy dresser on the apartment's upper floor, and they managed to get it down a tricky flight of stairs. Everyone worked very hard and took great care of our things. The whole move might've taken just over half a day and was around $700, which included several boxes and a whole lot of packing tape! We'd definitely use them again. read more

We called two weeks before our move from NoHo to Burbank (only a mile total), and the man on the phone, Dan, was soooo friendly and helpful. He quoted me a GREAT price ($65/hour with 3 hr minimum -- including EVERYTHING but boxes/bubble wrap, which we didn't need anyway...this price even included mileage & insurance!). Based on my house size, he said it shouldn't take more than 3-4 hours. It ultimately took 5 hrs, but we have a lot of crap! I digress....Dan even called me 3 days before the move to confirm everything - how professional! Unfortunately, the day of the move, a man named David called us at 5:30 am and said there was a major problem, and that the truck that was supposed to move us at 8 am was in use because of a move from the night before taking too long. Our move was now being pushed FOUR HOURS or so because of this. I was LIVID. We had planned our day around this, including having the DirecTV man install at noon, our babysitter was lined up, etc. I told him we needed our TVs moved before noon, no matter what, and so at 10 am, he sent two of his men with a pickup truck just to move the TVs! Then two other movers came with the actual moving truck at 12:30 pm, and seriously rocked the move....no smoke breaks, no dilly dallying, just hardcore moving (in the heat of summer). Nothing was damaged, and they even through in a small discount for the hassle of the 4 hour delay. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. But if you're going to move on a weekend, I suggest booking the first appt of the day, just in case something like this happens (the people scheduled after us for that afternoon had to be pushed to the next day...talk about sucky). read more

DO NOT use this company. I would give zero stars if I can. They should change their name to LET'S MOVE IT WRONG. One of the movers told me it started flooding in my laundry room after the truck driver/team leader detached my washing machine from the plumbing and broke the valve. The worst thing that can happen on moving day. They acknowledged that their policy is that the homeowner detaches the washer from the plumbing. I had to get an emergency plumber and pay for urgent service and it prolonged my moving time by 2 hours more. They are insured so when I asked to be reimbursed for the plumbing and water damage, they asked me to file a claim. I called many times to follow up but they keep telling me the owner will deal it, but is never around. 11 months later, I write them a letter that due to their inaction on my insurance claim I will take them to small claims court. A week later they sent me a check for $250, which is half of my expenses. I settled for it because this company is sucking the life out of me. They are not worth my time read more

THE WORST - DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!...Our things were *damaged*, *broken*, *lost* and *stolen*. To make matters worse, the owner (David or Dudu) has *not* sent us insurance claim papers, as promised, and does not stand by his word in compensating us for the stolen computer...We paid plenty of money to be moved from LA to PDX, and in the space of a few days the drivers and movers with this company ruined several of our valuables, lost some items, and one of the locals whom they hired here actually stole our computer - because he was not being properly supervised by the driver. This company uses several names (EDEN Moving Co. is one), as a way to evade their bad reviews, and sucker other people who otherwise wouldn't know better. Bottom line: don't hire this company - the owner, drivers and movers are AWFUL!!! read more

I have used this company 3 times in the last 8 years or so. Never ever had a problem! I was a single mom with 2 little girls and they did everything for me! Packed up every little toy, even wrapped my brownies up for me that I still had on the stove. I basically did nothing to prepare for the move but call them. One of my houses was a 3 bedroom house along with the garage as a toy room, and they packed and moved everything from that house, to the other house, unloaded it all for me and set up all the bigger stuff for me all while it was still daylight. I guess everyone has their own experiences but I have had nothing but A+ service from them. And reasonable prices. I am about to use them for a 4th time. I will not use any other company. read more
