The most unprofessional experience. I cannot believe these positive reviews, as my move never even happened because of how I was treated. I was working with Chad to book my move. He is rude and aggressive. He is stressed out and takes it out on the customers. He interrupts and jumps to incorrect conclusions. He makes false accusations, and in the end he cancelled my move and hung up on me. I was accommodating HIS needs - working with dates for packing and moving that were not my first choice. He was also pressuring me against supposedly a "waitlist" for these dates. He constantly misunderstood what I was actually needing and moving, and I spent a lot of time explaining and re-explaining. I do have a complicated moving situation, but if he would listen rather than assume, it is not unclear. He sent me an agreement with a cancellation policy that was not relevant to my move as the time limit was already passed (given the tight timing of my move). I simply wanted to ask for a more accurate wording, and instead, he yelled at me and accused me of wanting to renege on the deal, etc. I also wanted to ask about insurance, but he hung up before I could get the words out of my mouth. I had my credit card in hand and called to give my number to make my deposit, but he accused me of not being ready to confirm - a total fabrication on his part. I wrote to the office twice, including the owner who claims "his word is his bond"; I left several follow up messages. Not a single person bothered to reply. Really disappointing and unnecessary to treat anyone the way I was treated, and so unprofessional not to even bother replying. Moving is so stressful - who needs this? read more

Although we paid Noteworthy for insurance on all our possessions, they've repeatedly ignored our final claim for $801 for damages they clearly caused on our $12k (excluding storage) move from Los Angeles to Santa Fe, NM. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Noteworthy. Chad responded very promptly to my request for an estimate. After reviewing the list of furniture I needed to move, he sent a team of six professionals - and I do mean professionals. Each and every one of them were obviously well-trained and smart, as well as being courteous and friendly. I was nervous about the move, but that combination inspired a lot of confidence and made it a genuinely pleasant experience. They knew what they were doing and they did it really well. Every single item was carefully packed and protected and then carefully delivered to our new home. I have to add a note about the desk: My husband and I are educated people. We have doctorates. We have a big desk, we measured it, we measured the door, and we knew there was no way that desk was getting through the door without disassembling it. It was not possible. I have used them twice before for local moves in the L.A. area. They were recommended by my real estate agent. Both times they were great. Recently they moved me across the country. They great again. They came 3 times, first to give me an estimate, the second time to pick up my stuff, and the third to deliver it. They were on time all 3 times. Which is something that I really like. A couple times before the move I had to contact them with questions and they were always easy to reach, which is really nice these days. The crews (pick up and delivery were different) were efficient, friendly, and careful. I have some delicate stuff and they never broke anything. Noteworthy Moving continues to beat my expectations. I've used them 3X in the past 8 years . Last time was 2014 & I just used them last week . Their service is 5 star . I had 3 workers all outstanding , with the foreman of the three Jesse who was very talented in taking apart a very expensive & large antique desk I have . I had a large Cal King bed to disassemble & Multiple expensive dresser , 65 inch TV & large entertainment system . Although this move didn't require the truck as I moved into a renovated large apartment in the same building I was still extremely impressed that they finished everything in under 3 hours !!! I recently had a great experience with Noteworthy! Everyone I have interacted with has been courteous, communicative, responsive, and professional. I moved out about three months ago because I was about to begin a home remodel. So I needed both to move some things into my temporary apartment and store most of my things. Noteworthy took care of both! I did some packing in advance, but I primarily counted on them to pack up my things and carefully label them so they knew whether to deliver the box to my apartment or to storage. Things went where they were supposed to go, and everything went incredibly smoothly. I rarely write reviews, but I'm reflecting on my past experience as I prepare for my move back into my house tomorrow. The team that arrived the day of were great. Despite the miserable hot weather, they were all helpful and organized and good natured. Totally fantastic experience!!! I was worried about moving, and spent days looking for a mover we wouldn't be afraid to hire. Searched all over the internet, checked California association website to ensure licensing, looked for award recipients, used Yelp (and yes, Angie's List) and a bunch of other websites and reviews. Finally went to the Better Business Bureau to narrow the list of possibilities. After reading hundreds, maybe thousands of reviews, got it down to a list of three local companies and Mr. Picky made the final choice of Noteworthy --- and it was a great choice!!! Team leader Will arrived with two others exactly on time ... and I mean to the minute at 0815. This young, energetic, and absolutely lovely group of men said, "No problem," to anything that came up and had big smiles and a wonderful attitude. They never stopped, except for the occasional confab on the best way to do something. They acted experienced and within minutes I was totally at rest about the whole thing. Will, Matt and Owen were STRONG and managed to keep smiles on their faces despite an unload site where they had to push or carry everything up a LONG HILL, and then up three flights of stairs (if it didn't fit in the small elevator). They were just incredible. They kept plugging away, nothing stopped them, and they did everything they could to make us happy. If I were you, I'd ask for this "Tremendous Trio "and specifically request Will, Matt and Owen. To give you an example of how nice the experience was ... Matt asked me where I wanted all of my electronics and then powered up and connected everything, bless his heart (TV, CD player, DVR, boom-box, video/DVD player, clock radio, etc.). Will ended the experience with presentation of the bill. I was inwardly cringing after reading so many horror stories, but things went just as they had all along, very well. There were no surprise charges, everything was as had been arranged when talking with Ned and Ken back in the office. We forgot our checkbook, so after such a happy experience had no qualms about a 3% charge for credit card use, fine with us!!! Noteworthy was reasonable in price (not the cheapest, or the most expensive), and we felt the service was THE BEST !!! Next time moving? It'll be another "Noteworthy" Event. read more

These guys did a fantastic job for our move. I spoke with Med to start things, and he was great to work with. I explained our situation, what we had to move, etc. and he walked through the process, recommended how many guys we should use, etc. Their rate is higher than others out there, but totally worth it. They helped move our aquariums and many potted plants with no problems whatsoever - and no additional charge. The move team was great, worked efficiently and got things in and out in good time. Arrived on time and did a review of what they needed to move first, etc. Very friendly guys and respectful of your things. Some minor things here and there, a nick, a dent, on a few things, but you know what? Those things happen and are sometimes unavoidable in a move. From the initial call to the last box, every step of this process was made easier by using this company. The owner, Mark is a really friendly and upbeat guy who seems to treat his repeat or referred customers very well. We were referred to him by our landlord/ realtor and he gave us a really nice discount. The four movers we were given were ridiculously nice and professional. The communication throughout the move helped make sure they took what was needed and moved everything exactly where we wanted it. They also finished about two hours sooner than anticipated, score! I'd give six stars if I could. From the initial call to book 'til signing off at the end, these guys were a pleasure to work with. Ken got us all set up for our move at 7am on New Year's Eve, called to confirm the day before, and the guys called to give a heads up when they were ten minutes out. They arrived a few minutes early, so we were already rolling by 7am. The guys were courteous and efficient, and before I knew it we were all done. Our crosstown (Brentwood to Glendale) move was a breeze, and extremely reasonably priced. Best moving experience ever! Evan, who scheduled my move and handled all of the details made sure everything was smooth in these crazy COVID times and made the stress of moving with two kids fade away, making sure to send crew with experience taking apart and reassembling my son's trampoline and making sure timing was perfect and everything was seamless. They didn't just bring the furniture into the house into the appropriate rooms, but took the time to make sure the furniture was aligned perfectly and on the first night in our new home my living room was fully set up and everything was perfectly aligned. They also happened to be the most reasonably priced move I have ever had with everything included and no added extras, so my final bill was exactly what I had been quoted in terms of the number of hours they estimated. Our Sotheby's realtor recommended Noteworthy Moving and we used them for moving out of our multi-level condo and for the move in to our 1909 craftsman home. They stored our things for 6 weeks in between the two moves as well. From the first call to Evan in the office, to the estimate with Chad at our home, and every single crew member for each move, all were responsive, courteous, and very conscientious! We moved from a 1980s condo to a completely different style home and the crew was so helpful in helping us fit our furniture into each room and patient when I asked for changes in room or where to place a piece of furniture. I also want to add that the day we scheduled the move, it was raining and it was trash collection day on our street. The crew laid down runners so our floors stayed dry and our things were well protected with wrapping. They also dried off some of the boxes that got wet and they accommodated the large trash trucks! I know this is a lengthy review but I really liked working with Noteworthy and there's so many positive things to say about them - I would definitely recommend them to my friends and relatives! read more

I recently told my friend about noteworthy and advised them on using this company for there move to Stevenson Ranch. They where extremely happy with this company but the next day they noticed that there washer handle was stuck and they called the company for this to be fixed. The next day at 8.00am one of there employees named Jonny showed up and within 10 minutes the problem was fixed. I don't write many reviews but this company and its employees need to be acknowledged for their professionalism, personal touch, follow through and commitment to service. They came recommended by a friend when I said I was overwhelmed with high estimates from long distance moving companies for my move from LA to Hartford CT. 30 minutes after I contacted the office, I received a callback from Chad, who was to become the hero in my story. He provided quick but precise overview of company's mission and process, then came to my home within 2 days and provided a detailed estimate a day later..unheard of in this business. Noteworthy was the lowest estimate that I had received, with several options for insurance that were not expensive. Once I committed, I had to make a change to my date very close to the packing/move dates but Chad worked magic to make it happen, even overseeing the move, driving the truck and managing the unload in CT. We communicated while he was on route when once again, things had changed on my end but our hero didn't stress and accommodated the change for a nominal charge as it was a weekend. The reason for 4 stars (no option for the 1/2 star that I would have used) is that a meaningful item was left behind even though I reminded the foreman several times to not forget and a bunch of items I didn't want were packed up so I have to deal with them here in CT...nothing earth shattering. Noteworthy is a class act all the way and I would call Chad again if needed but for right now, just highly recommend for those who need a local or long distance move. read more

They were freaking awesome. They labeled the boxes so well I could put off opening many until I needed to and they were VERY careful. I had one art piece and the glass broke (it was expensive) but I watched them move carefully so it really wasn't their fault. However, when it happened, they loaded it up on the truck, told me it was broken and brought it back fixed l00% for free and took back all our boxes. These guys are just amazing. Plus they are decent human beings we could see hanging out with after work. VERY nice. VERY professional. They had a system of packing that protected decades of fine china and heirlooms and I can't say enough good about them. The owner Mark came to give us a detailed quote for moving and, like his entire crew, was personable and professional. We moved the contents of a 1,600 sq ft house + 2 car garage about 60 miles and Noteworthy stored our belongings over night for delivery the following day. When they arrived to move us out they realized that we had seriously underestimated how much we could pack. But this did not faze them. They called in extra help right away and they wrapped and packed our things carefully and speedily so that we didn't incur overtime charges. The crew were pleasant, hardworking, honest, and diligent. The following day they arrived promptly to unload and worked steadily without even taking a lunch break until everything neatly was stowed away in our new home. From my first phone call to them to the last box unloaded from their truck, everything went smoothly due to Noteworthy. Just last week the wife and I moved from Pasadena to Long Beach. We hired NOTEWORTHY MOVING SYSTEMS for the 3rd time, in 8 years. They just keep on getting better and better. The first two moves were a 10. This one was an 11! It came in under estimate by an hour and a half. These 6 guys were so much fun, and so competent my wife and I tipped them each $100. I can't remember the last time we did that. Yep, that's how great we felt at the end of an exciting day.
