If you are looking for an honest and friendly appliance repair shop look no further! I have used Elite twice, once when my washer was acting up, they came out took a look at it and told me they could fix it but the main bearing was almost worn out and I would be just wasting my money and I would be better off replacing it. The second time was just before thanksgiving, my fridge want working so they came out and quickly figured out it was a bad fan and they were able to replace it before the holiday at a reasonable price. One of the two owners visited same day to diagnose my fridge. He didn't have the part and has to return the next afternoon. Aside from the price I have no grievances and the $760 to repair some mother board part might be fair or reasonable. I didn't call elsewhere to price match but I did research replacing the part myself. The average cost for the part was around $100-150. The technician installed it within 10 minutes and was gone. My high-end Dacor range was not working and this was the first company I found who could repair this brand. I was originally told I was going to need a new control board and gas valve due to a little explosion in my oven that fried my wires. When the owner Steve came out he found that a difficult to find switch had been triggered and it just needed to be reset. It would have been very easy to take advantage and charge me for parts that were not needed but this company has integrity! My bill ended up being less than half of what I was originally quoted. I am updating my previous review of Elite. Once the owner say the negative feedback he reached out to see what he could do to improve the situation and make it right. He personally came out and completed the job and we now have a functioning dishwasher again. I hasten to give it five stars because I am not 100% confident with one of his employees who had created the initial situation. I am however very grateful for the efforts of the owner and his prompt reply once he was made aware of the public feedback. An absolute scam of a company. They have taken advantage of my in-laws. They didn't complete a job, left an appliance in worse condition than it was originally and now refuse to come out an finish the job even though they have already received compensation. Second time using Elite Appliance Repair. They were great the first time and even better this time. The tech was very knowledgeable and stated the codes showed a part needed to be replaced. He ordered it and came back to install it. He told me if it didn't work that I would not be charged. Unfortunately it did not fix the problem and meant it was probably the second much more expensive fix. I opted not to repair and he totally understood. So my 3 year old GE dishwasher decided to be a jerk face and stop working the other night. I initially called another company that was recommended on the Next Door app (that shall remain nameless) to see if they could come out to diagnose what was going on. But honey, let me tell you they were SO disinterested in earning my business I was completely turned off by them and came rushing to handy dandy Yelp to find another company. So I called and spoke to a polite gentleman who asked me a few questions and was able to get me quickly scheduled the next day for a service appointment. Woot woot! Just used Elite to service my refrigerator, best thing I liked when I found them on Yelp was you were able to send an email straight from Yelp, explain to them what's going on, I gave them my model and serial number, and what my issue was (Ice maker ) they came this morning and behold they also had a box in their hands Zak was the technician, he took the ice maker apart examined to see what the issue was , Zak showed me the problem and was able to diagnose what needed to be done. They box contained a new ice maker just in case. Zak was able to install right away without having to go back to the shop for parts. JOB WELL DONE ZAK . I will totally use them again. read more

I called Elite on Friday and they were able to come out Monday to diagnose my dishwasher. Roger called about 20 minutes before arriving to let us know he was on his way. He showed up and was very cordial and friendly. I have always been skeptical of appliance repairmen but read the reviews and wanted to give them a try. It turned out our dishwasher needed about $600-$700 in repairs. Roger advised us there was rust in our stainless steel tub and that was causing our sump pump assembly to lead. We also need a new control board since our cycles and timing were totally screwed up on our dishwasher. Roger suggested we might want to buy a new dishwasher since it was possible that after paying for this repair, the rust could continue to worsen, requiring another repair in the future. I thanked him for his honesty. My wife and I will buy a replacement on sale from Costco for less than the repair costs and have a new dishwasher with the same features and new extended warranty. If you purchase from Costco and use their credit card, you get a 4-year warranty for free.
