SCAM ALERT - heed the warnings and do not do business with this shady shop. They are out to scam you in multiple ways. One of the brothers showed me the car and made lots of promises and false claims. The other brother wrote up the paperwork and didn't honor anything that was told to me. He also added thousands of dollars in fees. Said they did a complete inspection of the vehicle but we found major issues that weren't disclosed. They denied the car had been in any accidents but carfax stated otherwise. They then tried to tell me that they did repaint the bumper but I discovered the door and quarterpanel had been replaced. They sent me multiple contracts to sign but none of them were accurate or complete. They kept saying, "trust me, the paperwork will be accurate when you come pick up the vehicle". They couldn't understand why I wouldn't sign documents that weren't accurate or complete. read more

They wrote me a reimbursement check for $1000.00 that accidentally went threw the wash. I've been kind and patient asking for a replacement check. After over 30 calls and countless conversations I have received nothing. They just give me the run around and never call back. I have the bill of sale and check receipt showing I paid $1000.00 over the purchase price. They placed a stop payment with Wells Fargo on my reimbursement check, and they know I didn't receive my money. This is a terrible way to treat a customer and defines SHADY business! I've been chasing this issue for the past 4 years with no resolution in sight. I purchased a 2004 silverado that had major mechanical issues shortly after I bought it but that's not what this is about. I haven't been able to register or title my vehicle I paid cash for since I've purchased it. They gave me a fraudulent title and haven't taken any responsibility to fix it. I've spent hours that would equate to weeks on the phone with DMV and this horrible dealership and nobody is willing to help. If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced. For starters when we purchased the vehicle never did they disclose the vehicle had never passed inspection. On the signed vehicle purchase agreement under vehicle check list. They checked off "vehicle has valid inspection sticker" when confronted about this the receptionist gave reason that it means the inspection after the sale and the rejection sticker is valid. How is it checked off before if it was not done then? We have a two hour car ride and twice we have wasted our time driving here. First one they advised the vehicle was not done but never called to let us know. Second which is now they decided to close at 5 but the receptionist did not let us know when we spoke this morning and told her we would pick up the vehicle today. I will be reaching out to BBB, dmv investigations police, and the dealership board. They have made this buyer experience horrible with their unethical sales tactics. The fact that they sold a vehicle that failed inspection and never once disclosed is unethical. The minor items they are supposed to fix took almost 4 weeks. I would like to give this dealership zero stars, but the site will not allow zero stars, so one is what I must choose. If I can save one person from going through the terrible experience that I have had with Elite Auto Group, then my time writing this review will be worth it! I purchased a 2016 Ford Escape with 34,000 plus miles in January 2021. It came with a "clean" Carfax report and I was assured it was a good vehicle. I was required to sign an "As is" form which I didn't question as everything seemed to be in order. What I didn't know when I made the purchase was the car had been in an accident. The engine was damaged and the electrical system had a short in it. In order to keep the "clean" Carfax, the accident was not reported, therefore the repairs were very amateur-ish, i.e. the engine was sealed with JD Weld instead of fixing the leaks properly. Then the entire undercarriage was sprayed black in an obvious effort to hide the damage. I have spoken with the owner on several occasions and he is completely unwilling to make this situation right. I was told by the service dept of the Ford dealership in Charlottesville that it would be way too cost prohibitive to repair this vehicle. I then took the car to my mechanic and he said the same thing...actually, he said the car would be nothing but a problem and to get rid of it. At the owner's request, I took it back to Elite Auto for the mechanic there to look at it and he said the same thing...it has to have a new engine. Unfortunately for me, the owner was completely unwilling to accept any responsibility for putting a new engine in this car. I am now faced with monthly car payments AND having to consider buying a new engine at a minimum cost of $5000.00. At the moment, the car is and has been parked in front of my house since the first part of March. I am continuing to make monthly payments, but cannot drive the car. A dealership is no better than the owner and in this case, the owner is a very dishonest, unethical businessman. If this review is not motivation enough for you to shop somewhere else, then I'm not sure what would be motivation enough to never step foot inside Elite Auto Group. Sadly, I am one of many, many customers who has been taken advantage of by this dealership. It's a shame that they continue to stay in business to rip off other unsuspecting consumers. I financed a car hear in August. I returned the car in 6 days after canceling my purchase. Finance manager Gino did not return my down payment after the 6 days didn't even give me proper paper work let alone any at all after car was dropped off. The car had bad history, the car needed a wheel alignment, tire plug, and an oil change after they sold the car which they should have fixed prior. Also car was sold as is with no warranty but manager Gino gave me a warranty with car anyway which is ridiculous. Downpayment should have been returned but was not. I would not trust this dealership or buy anything from here. Also they sell cars under different buisness names such as American Eagle LLC which is supposedly out of buisness but claim to be Elite Auto Group which is the name on top of there building. read more

While on my way home from my 1 hour plus commute, my car suddenly lost power on 95 South about 3 miles from this shop. I contacted 1st class towing and a tow truck showed up about an hour later. I was informed that the car would be towed to their shop and they would repair and resolve the issue. It was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving so I was surprised to hear that they would "quickly diagnose the problem and have it fixed on Wednesday". I called on Wednesday and was informed that they were severely behind and wouldn't have a chance to look at it. Thanksgiving was Thursday so I waiting until Friday. Without a returned call, I decided to call around 3pm. "Omar" informed me that they ordered the part but no mechanic and the repair would be made asap. I called again on Saturday and was told that they wouldn't be able to make the repair until Monday due to Mechanics being off for the Holiday weekend. I called again on Monday morning for an "update" when I was informed that someone would be in touch with me in 30 minutes. Three hours went by before I called again and was told that the mechanic would be in touch with me and an update wasn't available. Another 2 hours went by before I called again and was informed that the ECM required a hard reset and that no parts were actually needed. I went by to pick up the vehicle and promptly paid the balance that they said was due after asking repeatedly if it was all inclusive. I explained that I never, not even once, received a call from their shop to advise me and I had called repeatedly over the course of 5 days. I was told by Martha that I would receive a discount but was never given one. I paid the invoice amount and retrieved the car. The next day though - I received a call from the tow operator who, very rudely, exclaimed that the tow fees were never charged and acted as though I was scamming the company. I explained that I was told a discount would be applied, that the invoice was all inclusive, and paid promptly upon pickup. Now - Today - I received a call from Martha who informed me that they made an error and the fees needed to be paid, to which, I promptly paid. Bottom Line - This company lacks Customer Service, Communication, Understanding, Follow Through, Direction, and Leadership. I would exercise caution before doing ANY business with them unless you find yourself in a similar situation where your vehicle is on the side of 95 and you don't have ANY OTHER OPTION. read more

This dealership is one of the worst dealerships I've dealt with. The title clerk is irresponsible and seems to lack knowledge of her job. I bought my car on 6/8 and was told that I would get my paperwork mailed to me. It is now 7/18 and I still have not received anything. My temporary tags expired on 7/8 and I was on vacation from then to 7/17. I called them to check on my hard plates and I was given the run around. I even called the Dealer Board and they told them that they issued the tags to me, but that's impossible if I was on vacation and had to come in to sign for the tags. Now they are expecting me go to the DMV with a registration they are supposedly sending me and get new tags which I would have to pay for after already paying them titling fees. They are scamming people every time and depriving them of their hard earned money. Im looking for a lawyer in Virginia to sue them. Right now my hard earned currency of 18000 dollars is with them and they are refusing to refund my money. First I saw Ford fusion 2019 they advertised on car Guru and said it was 25000 miles with no accident. I called and inquired and was told it was still available. I informed them I will be flying in from out of state and I had to make sure it's there when I arrived and they assured me it will be since I have informed them I'm coming . I landed in MD and I took my sister to drive the three hours to go see if possible buy the car. On entering the car, I called again and was told it was still there. After driving for three hours and less than twenty minutes to them, they called and told me the owner has picked up the car and that I should come and look at their other inventories. I was furious and so they told me I should calm down they will order the car to be brought back since I came from out of state. Once I reached there, they told me it will take three hours, which I accepted and later as I waited they said the car wont be available until tomorrow, but to secure the car I should signed and pay and they themselves will deliver the car to me in Silvers Spring. Still out of naivete I trusted them. I was coerce to sign the paper without them giving me room to go through the paper works. After returning to Silver Spring , they called me and said the car will only be available by 7pm the following day. I was forced to wait another full day. It was only by past 9pm they brought the car. Instead of 25000 miles it had 42,000 miles and they did not do anything with the car as they promised: worn tires ,no change oil, dashboard light was on. and rear back door shows it was not closing. after I told them I was not going to take the car they offered to make a cut. which after long talk I accepted. However, they went back and prepared e new paper but took out the taxes and that I will be the one to pay which mean they basically came back to the same amount. When I drove the car it was not sounding right so I took it for inspections it shows that the car was actually a built in title which they concealed the history from me and many parts were replaced. The tires were all worn out, there were scratches all over the car, and the oil was not changed. I was taxed over 6000 dollars to fix the car. When I told them that I need to return the car , they said they are not going to accept it because I already signed for it and if I bring it will still be under my name. That Is why I'm searching for a lawyer around Virginia to help me and if anyone knows any person should contact me. I will gladly join with anyone who is planning to do the same. What a scam!!! We found a Jeep advertised online that was available at Elite Auto Group in Fredericksburg, VA. It was a 2007 Jeep Wrangler. The pictures attached to the ad were of a black 4 door hard top Jeep Wrangler. We called this and verified with the salesman that this Jeep from the ad was available at the price listed - he confirmed this. My husband was interested enough that he drove from Waldorf, MD to Fredericksburg to check it out. It took him 2.5hrs to get there. When he arrived he was told that "the photographer messed up" and the ad we saw had the wrong pictures. The pictures were of a higher priced, newer Jeep Wrangler!!! The vehicle that should have been attached to the ad was a lesser quality vehicle than was shown. The sales personnel were unwilling to deal at all on the newer Jeep despite having pulled a bait and switch and despite the huge inconvenience they caused! Don't bother with Elite Auto Group - there are too many other options out there to deal with such unprofessionalism and unethical business strategies! read more
