I ordered a small cake from this vendor for my fiancé's birthday and to sample the vendor as consideration for our upcoming wedding. The cake was supposed to be ready at 10am for my fiancé's birthday party and it took 40 minutes for an employee to answer the door. 20 minutes to get anyone on the phone and over an hour since arrival to get the cake. No preemptive phone call no apologies. No explanation. If they can't handle a birthday cake I would not trust them to handle a wedding cake. I'm fuming! What an awful experience. My poor wife and mother-in-law were stressed with this whole experience to the max! Lack of communication, organization, poor attention to detail, and constant arguing in circles with both the owner and the "artist". One excuse we got for their poor work was "we are busy with many orders". Then why take ours on?! We would have gladly went elsewhere, and in hindsight I sincerely wish we had! There are many small businesses who would have loved our support during this time, and would have been able to fulfill our oder correctly! Our cake pops we needed for our GENDER NEUTRAL baby shower were BLUE when we had specifically requested we needed them a sage GREEN! An "artist" who doesn't know the difference between those two distinct colors obviously should not be an artist at all! Both the owner Mike and the "artist" Beatriz were rude, very unprofessional and CLEARLY don't know how to fulfill simple requests when they are given MANY examples. Especially after specifically telling my wife that they would look EXACTLY like the examples we sent! It was like pulling teeth for clear communication with the order, and we never received any confirmation of the correct time they would be ready until 10 PM THE DAY BEFORE our baby shower which was changed from the initial time they told us very last minute! The cake pops we received after rushing around an hour before our shower to accommodate THEM were sloppy, incorrect, and - by many guests feedback - tasted awful. We will never be returning and after the customer service we received, you definitely shouldn't support their business either! read more

Our Wedding was June 15 and we could not have been happier with Elite Cake. Beatriz was fantastic to deal with, she went over all the flavors and answered all the questions we had. She is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have the best cake. When she brought the cake out to my car, she noticed I had purchased some baby breath, she asked if she could use these to add the beautiful flowers I brought to her earlier and this made the cake even more beautiful. When you walk into this place you see amazing cakes displayed from previous events so you're thinking the cakes are going to be up to par w/ what you're getting. I always like to support small businesses but when I bought this Groupon for a special occasion I was very disappointed to find the cupcakes I ordered were not much different than the flavors at Publix. I asked for Brito themed cupcakes and got something that looked like nothing what I asked for. Also, the frosting was bland and the cupcakes itself were not appealing to nobody. I encountered this cake shop through a banquet hall that uses them in Sept 2017. I had my baby shower at the banquet hall on Sept 17, 2017. I was charged an additional $35 with taxes ($37.10) for adding a bailey's filling to my cake which the cake did not have. Days after the baby shower I called them and let them know. The lady told me the bailey's filling looks similar to buttercream. However, I kindly let her know that the taste of it was buttercream and not bailey's. The lady told me that she would give me a refund of $35 (not $37.10) since I was not satisfied and would return it to my card . Since then I have yet to receive my refund. I called several times to let them know. I was told the first time that it was returned to another card (not mine) and that they would fix it and return it to the correct card. I called after that again and told them I still haven't received my refund and they assured me again that they would refund it within 7-10 days. Here we are now mid December and I still do not have my refund. I called again and no one answers now.. I went ahead and left them a message.. waiting on their call back. Being that I live approx. 59 miles from them I tried to resolve this over the phone, it looks like I am going to have to go in person just to get my money back. Completely unacceptable. I gave a 2 star only because they did deliver the cake on the day of the baby shower as promised but other than that, that's the only promise they were able to keep. read more

I heard about elite creations from reviews, I thought I'd give them a try to help envision the cake for my daughters first birthday but what I got was a complete mess! On the receipt itself, we wrote down what exactly I was looking for. I got NONE of that except the name of daughter and the colors I asked for. The background was out of color, I received the cake with broken sugar toppers. I was so upset. I called them and I received the worst attitude from them. I even sent them pictures of the cake when I went to go pick it up from the cake deliverer (no one at the store was there). They didn't want to do anything about it. But later on decided to give me $40 credit for my next order BUT THERES NO WAY I WOULD EVEN CONSIDER USING THAT WITH THEM. Elite cake creations is a messy business with horrible customer service. I knew they were horrible business owners when I went there and it was closed during normal business hours. Don't waste your time with these people. The cake didn't even taste good. read more

My husband and I will never forget the horrible experience We had with this place that was used for our wedding. From customer service to the outcome of the cake, everything was not just AWFUL but EMBARRASSING. Unfortunately, sometimes we do not have the opportunity to prevent horrible experiences like having this place Elite Cake Creations as your catering. But trust me, if you do not believe me, right after you try their samples that is not even close of what you are going to get on your big day, just go to Pubix and compare the flavor and texture of their cakes, by far they are SO MUCH BETTER in all senses. The cake that we received for our wedding was totally a JOKE from size to flavor, and the most offensive part from this AWFUL PLACE was that they broke our topper that we spend months to find the one we really wanted to use. So no topper on that creepy cake. Can you imagine that? And the worst part is that Elite Cake Creations told us in our own face that that was not a big deal!!!! Elite Cake did my wedding cake and we loved it so much we ordered one for our 1st anniversary. We ordered the same cake, basically a replica on a smaller scale with purple buttercream flowers instead of the real ones we originally had. When I picked it up I was charged $95.00 for a plain white cake with no flowers. She tried to correct the issue with some white flowers she had in the back. It was pretty but not what I ordered especially for the price. It was a VERY simple 6" on an 8" round cake. I expected maybe around $50.00 not $95. When we tasted the cake the next day it was not the same flavor as our first cake. It did not taste like lemon buttercream filling. It was also wet in some spots by the filling. I have never seen this happen with a buttercream filling. Maybe they used lemon filling and tried to correct it by adding plain buttercream over the top of it?? I don't know. Anyway, it was not what I ordered or what I expected. Very disappointed considering the cost. I could have ordered a Publix cake and been more satisfied at a cheaper cost. I can see if the cake had swirls and embellishments all over it but it was a super simple design without the flowers. read more

Elite Cake Creations...THE MOST IRRESPONSIBLE cake business on the face of this earth! I chose this company to make my wedding cake after I had tried one of their cakes at a friend's birthday party and loved it. I went for a cake testing with my mom and mother in law and loved it so much that I gave the deposit ($198) that same day. The cuban elder lady that I met with at the company assured me everything was going to come out great. Two weeks before my wedding I went back and paid the remaining balance of $600. We went over the final details including the day and time of delivery (12-1pm on November 24, 2012). The day of my wedding Elite Cake Creations never delivered my cake!!!! We called and called and called and NO ONE ever picked up the phone. We left them messages on Facebook and still did not receive a call back. NO ONE bothered to call us to explain where my cake was. My best man had to run to Publix and buy a cake from them so that my husband and I could take pictures with a damn cake. These people ruined my night! Just when you think it can't get any worse....... My mom, aunt, and mother in law showed up to the business that following Monday. The owner tells them that the driver didn't leave the bakery until 5pm (my reception started at 5) and that on his way he got pulled over by a cop due to speeding and that the cake toppled over. On top of that, the guy supposedly had a warrant over his head so he was arrested. The owner did not find this out until 8pm, but yet she did not bother to call me or anyone else to inform us of what had happened. After my mom, aunt, and mother in law ripped her a new one, the owner gave my mom a check with NO FUNDS!!! My mom had to drive back and wait untill she came up with the money. If this happened to me it can happen to anyone else!!! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT pick this vendor!!!
