This place was very nice inside and they even have a popcorn machine you can help yourself to. The employees were very nice and helpful and we were attended to pretty fast. However the estimate we received was the highest of four and didn't include one of the things that others were going to do. One good thing if you need to rent a car while you have work done on yours they conveniently have a rent a car company right next door. If the estimate wouldn't have been the highest I would of probably gone with them. read more

My catalytic converter on my tundra was stolen on late feb of last year, so i decided to take it to Elite Collision to file a claim with my insurance.. was told it would be 6 to 8 months for the Catalytic to come in due to it being on backorder... was called in october that the catalytic was in, so planned to take it in to Joe, well that morning, the other catalytic was stolen... so ended up leaving the truck with Joe till they can be installed.... Well the second catalytic became available in January, so Joe and his crew installed it, called us and we picked it up... well when we picked it up, we were told the check engine light was going to be on due to codes that were coming on... he said it looks like the fuel cap.... Well we asked for a Repair Order stating what codes they were, and come to find out, they were all due to the Catalytic Converters being stolen... so we took the truck to another place to jave the Diagnosis done and they said its a bad o2, so we had that warranted... now there were still some codes coming up, Joe from Elite decided to throw his hands up and gave up on trying to help us with this claim... so we took it back to the shop that did the diag and turns out the ECM was bad, the wiring harness, and the fuel lines were cut... all were repaired at about 7k to the repair shop...So in conclusion to this headache, do your research on the shops you take your vehicle to... it will save you time and patience... i do not recommend this shop.... 1 year and finally my truck is back to normal!!! read more

Joe, Your technology needs updating. The review I originally posted (see below) is my 100% honest review of having my vehicle repaired by your business, Elite Collision Center. I am in no way affiliated with any of your "competitors" or anyone in the auto collision business. I am simply one of your dissatisfied customers who would just like to inform the public so they can make a decision when choosing a body shop. Go back through your records in 2016 during the months of June and July and check for the working on a dark grey 2015 Subaru WRX. Elite Collision continues to show no concern that I am extremely dissatisfied with the services performed on my 2015 WRX that was in their shop from 6/12/16 to 7/25/16. No concern that the exhaust downpipe coming off the turbo charger was installed incorrectly causing a major exhaust leak before the catalytic converter. This is unsafe for the engine to operate under these conditions (likely engine or turbo damage due to a change in air fuel ratios and lack of back pressure). This shop said my car would only take 2weeks to fix and kept my car for 2 months knowing I needed my car for work. They even stole some of my personal items when they " detailed " my car. This shop is crooked because they didn't even replace the wheel that they charge me for and just buffed out the car paint from the accident to make it look like new, when the wheel was no good because of how bent it was. So I had to miss work to take my car back to them so they could replace something they should have in the first place. So I don't recommend going here read more

Took my show quality Camaro there to have some scratches and chips repaired. They swore they are a high level shop more than capable of handling high dollar show paint. They took their time and seemed to fix the defects as requested. They re-cleared the engine car. Cut and polished it before returning it to me at the deadline. But it just never looked as it should with depth and clarity of the clear coat. I finally figured it out. They didn't cut the orange peel all the way out leaving it dull and somewhat matte. Also noticed many chips that didn't get repaired, and a couple large runs in the paint they caused and didn't repair correctly. After sometime I brought it back and we talked about it. They worked on it for a few hours. When I went to pick it back up, it was no better. They said they simply buffed it. I left it again telling them they need to cut the clear coat and rebuff it. To get rid of the orange peel. 3 days later I came to get it. It was sitting out front covered in dirt and no change after another quick buff. Took it home. Washed it and waxed it. Then noticed they had burnt the clear coat in a few places. Now it will cost me considerable money to have the car done right in another shop. Just an average shop. Don't take high lever paint work there. read more

My 2018 Honda Accord was rear ended in Hungry Hunter's restaurant in Dec. 2021. I did not have body work done till March 2021 as I decided to pay for the damages myself rather than turn it in to the Insurance. Elite Collision Center, Inc. on 9801 Rosedale Highway at Bakersfield did the body work. They did an excellent job and completed the job within the time frame they told me. They matched the paint perfectly where you could not tell where it was repaired, which was near the tail light and gas tank cover. A few months later it started to become harder for me to open the gas tank latch. I kept putting it off and finally went down to Elite Collision and asked the body and fender repairman if he could make it easier for me to open as me being 73 I am a little bit weak. He immediately took my car and corrected the problem within 10 minutes. He did not even ask me to come back as they were too busy. He ended up being the owner of the company, Joe Landa. I highly recommend this place for body work and paint for your auto. read more

Wow, what a nightmare! We choose them because they said they could repair quickly and have our vehicle to us in a week to 10 days. The promised time was extended another week not once, not twice, but THREE times causing great inconvenience. Then when we did get our truck back, the backup camera had not been reconnected properly and they refused to correct it forcing us to take it to another mechanic and costing us $300. Looking at all the different reviews on various websites for auto body work in Bakersfield this place overall seemed to have the most favorable ratings. I gave them a try. I had a ten year old GMC/PleasureWay camper van with peeling paint on the hood and wanted it fixed. Paying out of my own pocket since this was not an insurance job and so I wanted it perfect. That's what I got; perfect color match, smooth as glass, ready in the time frame promised. Others have also commented on it being a beautiful paint job. So I am happy to report my experience and thank these folks for doing such a good job. It was around $500 to paint the hood. I will use this business in the future if the need arises. read more
